Woodbelly provides pizza, bar and full service catering services across Northern Vermont. We prepare seasonal, thin crust sourdough pizza with Vermont wheat and local farm ingredients (organic whenever possible). We are able to provide bar service in VT with full liquor bars, natural wine selections, draft beer and everything in between. Our cuisine is Italian and Mediterranean inspired, but includes global influences - we are equally at home making some of the best tacos or pirogues you've ever had as well as incredible pizza or whole wood roasted porchetta. Let us help with everything from the simplest gathering around one our hearths to a full service meal (where pizza may have only been served the night before for the rehearsal dinner, then enjoy a full sit down dinner of oven roasted porchetta and sides for your reception). We got the charcuterie, pizza and ice cream bar for our 80 or so guests. Not only was the food delicious, the staff was amazing. Woodbelly sent three members of their team for our event, who were all wonderful - not only professional, but friendly and FUN. My husband and I really appreciated that they made sure our pizza came out first and we ate (I was talking to so many guests, honestly, I’m glad they did this!) At one point in the evening, staff even joined in on our lawn games, just a super fun group. They truly were the best, if you get an opportunity to hire them for your wedding or rehearsal dinner, highly recommend!

I loved supporting a small business and hired and loved all of the other local small businesses hired for my wedding. antastic. They mixed up some specialty cocktails and provided a variety of beers, ciders, and wine on tap. It was very important to us that bar lines be kept to a minimum, and Woodbelly took great care of us on this front.
David and the Woodbelly team are a true pleasure to work with. They were very responsive and accommodating throughout the planning process. David spoke with us multiple times and provided great guidance and recommendations as we made adjustments to our quote based on our party size, budget, and preferences.

They were so receptive to our preferences, made sure to accommodate a large number of vegetarian/vegan guests, and brought separate, gluten-free meals for two guests with Celiac's. Woodbelly also handled our bar service; we loved their selection of wine, beer, and cider, and they made two not-so-simple signature cocktails (per recipes from my husband) to perfection. Despite the craziness of wedding planning, the whole process with Woodbelly felt very relaxed, thanks to their lead chef David and team; conversations with them were just like hanging out with really cool friends. Everything on the day was seamlessly executed from setup to cleanup, and guests told us how much they loved the meal all night long. Great prices, great food, and the best people.

ests and we heard rave reviews about the food from everyone. In fact, we had numerous guests ask us how we found Woodbelly and where they could go to enjoy more of their food. It is our opinion that Woodbelly has some of the best pizza Vermont has to offer, and one of our only regrets for our wedding day was that we didn’t get to eat more of the appetizers since everyone was talking about how good they were. Even my family from NY and CT was impressed with how good the food was, and I think everyone knows how good NYC and New Haven pizza is! Woodbelly was also able to offer bar services so we did not have to worry about finding a separate company to handle alcohol. At the end of the night, they bused tables and cleaned up very well. If you are planning on having a wedding or event soon, you would be very mistaken to pass up on this company. We would not hesitate to use Woodbelly again for any event, and we are very thankful to have had them be part of our wedding.

We exchanged countless emails with them and they were so, so helpful with handling all the logistics (including guest allergies). Their team on the day-of was fantastic too - so friendly and they were super quick and flexible in dealing with the rain outside. All in all, we couldn’t be happier with Woodbelly - we’d hire them again in a heartbeat! Our only regret is that we didn’t eat more pizza that day, it really is amazing.
