ve my antique engagement ring sized by the jeweler whose shop is in the back. HE RUINED MY RING!!! He broke the band when trying to size it down and you can see and feel the patch he put on the band to fix it. He heated the ring so much that some of the antique filigree detail has been lost forever. When I tried to address this with him he packed his things and walked away from me muttering in his language, he told me "come back tomorrow, I fix then" and left the store! I refused to pay and would never let this man touch my ring again. DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID!!!!

ing was such shoddy workmanship that if they did replace it, I would just keep coming back because they would all eventually fall out. Apparently, there was a crack in the setting which was caused by resizing, which we were not aware had been done. (Incidentally, I tried to have them resize it for me when I bought it b/c it was a touch too big, but they talked me into getting the Tiffany balls put on it instead.) I mailed it back to my aunt who took it in to try to get my money back. They would not return the money, but offered to "fix" it for us. We agreed to that, my aunt took the time to go back to Pacific Jewelry to get it, mailed it back to us, and now, after 7 days of wearing it, a diamond has fallen out once again. I am now a newlywed who is out a LOT of money and has no wedding band.
