Wood's Floral & Gifts

The staff at Wood's Floral and Gifts did a great job with our wedding flowers. They were willing to work with me and use jars that I want to use as part of the centerpieces. We did have a communication issue with the person dropping off the flowers due to some weather issues. I was very impressed with all of the floral arrangements except for mine. As I was walking out of the ceremony one of the bigger flowers fell out of my bouquet. I later had a chance to look at my bouquet versus my bridesmaids. The flowers on mine were stuck into a foam ball where theirs were connected to the stems all the way down the bouquet. I wished mine would have been more like theirs and then I wouldn't have had to be so conscious about placement of my bouquet during pictures due to flowers being missing. Overall, they did a great job and I would recommend them to anyone that needs flowers for their wedding!

This vendor was able to work with us at short notice, because the vendor we'd hired dumped us because I questioned a price. We were able to replicate the design we'd wanted and already had planned, for less than half the cost we were going to have been charged. The flowers were gorgeous and arrived on time, and just really made the wedding gorgeous! Minor quibbles, I would have given 4.5 stars if possible, because we had specific requests for the mother of the bride, the mother of the groom, and the grandmother's flowers, which were representing people who could not be there or who had passed on. I got the flower my mother in law was supposed to have had to represent her mother, and she got the flower that should have represented mine, but they were still gorgeous. Only other thing was, I wish the runner for the aisle (outdoor wedding) was MUCH heavier. As it was, it was more hazard and annoyance than runner.

Wood's Floral was easy to work with, but didn't really seem to capture our vision. I had been very specific that I wanted the bouquets to look natural, but the day of the wedding, I saw they put fake evergreen and berries into the bouquets. It was nice, however, that they used some of the extra material from my dress around the handle.

I met with 3 different Florists before choosing this one. This place was at least $500 cheaper than the other place so that was a plus but I had confidence because I knew the exact flowers I wanted in my bouquet and the exact colors in the bridesmaid's bouquets. My bouquet turned out gorgeous n it was exactly what I wanted and the right size.
