Woodwalk Gallery and Events

We (Joslyn & Matt) were married here at Woodwalk in 2015, and a seven years later we became the keepers of the place. It's a restored 1908 dairy barn that's also a working gallery — we show close to 100 artists — so there's art on the walls while you're dancing. We love working with couples as they plan, and we're happy to be a resource along the way. A note on the numbers above: they're closer to a full total than a starting point. Our quote is all-in — the venue, day-of coordination, our premium bar package with bartenders and glassware, setup and teardown, the service charge and tax. Plenty of venues quote the space and you add the rest, so it's worth comparing carefully. Saturdays start at $17,200, which covers up to about 100 guests; above that it's roughly $70 per additional guest. Fridays start at $13,000 and are often a better fit for a smaller guest list. We provide and pour all the alcohol ourselves — craft beer, nice wines, and a full bar with Maker's Mark, Bombay Sapphire and Rittenhouse rye, including batched Wisconsin Old Fashioneds. Outside alcohol isn't permitted. You're welcome to bring your own caterer from our approved list. We can seat up to 175 under the tent, or inside the gallery for smaller groups. There are two ceremony spots, a wisteria-covered pergola, places for both parties to get ready, and storage for decor the week before. As an open-air barn, we only take weddings from June through the first weekend of October. Rain or shine, weddings here are truly beautiful and unique happenings.
