Word of Mouth Catering

Word of Mouth catered my mehndi the day before my wedding. Most of my guests only eat halal meat and Maddie from Word of Mouth went out of her way to track down halal distributors and get their halal certifications. It took time and effort on her part, but that’s the level of service that Word of Mouth provides. The food was lovely and my guests really enjoyed it. My sister surprised us with a large cake that she made for the event and the Word of Mouth team kindly jumped into action to cut and serve the cake. Overall I had a great experience working with them!

What an amazing dinner! We were in love with Word of Mouth the moment they hosted us for a tasting at their kitchen, and we couldn't wait to eat their food again at our wedding. When the wedding day finally came, we were not disappointed! All of the guests loved our Tex Mex dinner, and when we took leftovers home to family, they were so excited to have the food again! The team that worked the wedding was also incredible and so much fun to work with. We highly recommend Word Of Mouth for your wedding needs!

Our food was phenomenal! Andrea didn't say no to any of the crazy things we asked for and helped us create the most amazing menu! People always comment on how excellent the food was. We had a biscuit bar, a cajun station, a taco bar, mini desserts, a killer cheese board, and the most delicious passed apps. I wish I could eat our wedding food every day! What an amazing group to work with!

You will be so happy by choosing Word of Mouth! Maddie is the best and was with us all the way, helping choose options that fit our budget - to going above and beyond on the day-of the wedding. Our guests all loved the food and the servers/bartenders were excellent! I can't recommend them enough!! Thanks for all your team did to make our day so perfect.

All I can say is YUM! Our food was just delicious at our wedding, and we received so many compliments from our guests. People were going back for seconds and thirds! The catering staff was so professional and helpful, and I can't thank them enough for helping to make our big day so memorable and special.

Word of Mouth did our wedding cake and grooms cake. Both were beautiful and delicious. They met with us multiple times to discuss our vision and it was great. We asked them to create an original grooms cake with their own creativity and it was amazing! Their food in their storefront is also good, I wish we could have used them for food too!

First of all, our wedding cake was dang good. Our friends even still comment on how good it was sometimes. We did the white chocolate raspberry flavor, highly recommend. But anyway, Sarah and her team were great. WoM was the required caterer for our venue, and we went ahead and just used the for cake as well to keep things simple, and we're so glad we did. It looked beautiful, they worked with us on our budget, and they even will make you a fresh mini cake for your 1 year anniversary for free! They did kind of talk us into a lot more cake than we needed, but that seems to happen with everyone. The meal was also really good, and the staff was so friendly.

WoM Catering was an awesome catering service. Their food was incredible; we truly believe the mashed potatoes were the best we have ever had. Everyone at the wedding loved the quality of food. They were extremely easy to work with in preparing for the wedding and maintained an open line of communication with us at all times. The one thing that drives me to give them 4 stars is that we ended up paying for more plates than the number of people we were expecting to attend due to a miscommunication and mix up on the day that our final numbers were due. Other than that, we were extremely happy with our experience and would absolutely pick WoM again.

Word of Mouth Catering is AMAZING! I got married at the Winfield Inn one year ago and people are still talking about the food. They created a custom menu for us with our favorite southern foods from Louisiana and Texas. In addition to our delicious reception food, they also made the most delicious cakes! They made a beautiful spiral King Cake for my husband's groom's cake. The food helped make the day so special. I highly recommend them to anyone. Thank you so much Word of Mouth!

Our food was amazing! My husband said hes sad because he knows he'll never get wedding food as good as ours again. The staff was easy to work with, and the quality was great. We had a private tasting before we signed a contract, just to be sure everything would be the way we wanted for the wedding. As the wedding got closer we had a staff switch up and some of our details had to be confirmed several times, but by the time the wedding came everything worked out great. WOM was also able to rent all of our chairs and linens so we didnt have to go through a seperate rental company. While the cost was higher than most catering companies, we got exactly what we wanted and tons of compliments on the food.

We had a great experience working with Word of Mouth for our wedding. The food was delicious and there service was amazing. We had a fairly unique menu which they helped create! We couldn't have asked for anything more. Thank you!!

I could not have been happier with WOM catering. We got many compliments on the food, and their event management skills were fantastic. 230 person wedding... that is a lot of food and drink and they handled it with ease. In short, they were easy to work with and the food was great! What else do you need?!?!

We had W.O.M. fajitas at our wedding and it was so great!! You can't go wrong with ritas & fajitas. We are from San Antonio, so we know what a good fajita tastes like and we were pleasantly surprised with the quality.

Word of Mouth's food is down right INCREDIBLE. We had the opportunity to use them for our wedding at the Winfield Inn and couldn't be happier with how the food turned out. They also did our cupcakes, which were to die for! If you are looking for a caterer who can do anything and make it taste AMAZING, Word of Mouth is them. Our guests raved all night (and then some) about how good the food was. They are the best at what they do and can accommodate any style/request.

They got our favorite cake recipe from a bakery in NYC that we referred to and perfectly remade the cake. It was gorgeous and delicious!

We absolutely LOVED Word of Mouth Catering! They provided all the linens, tables, chairs, etc as well as a buffet style dinner and cake for our wedding of 150. Their staff did an absolutely amazing job and the food was amazing! Our guests loved everything and were especially complimentary of the cake. Our event planner, Alaina, was very receptive and always returned my calls promptly. Additionally, Word of Mouth was considerably less expensive than other quotes we received during the planning process.

I can not give enough praises for WOM Catering! The staff was so professional and the food was absolutely delicious. We wanted to have tex-mex at our reception and WOM made it happen and executed it so beautifully! We wanted to share with our guests a meal that was unique and personal to us as a couple and Myra was so great about making the food a personal experience. The guests loved the mini tacos and chips and salsa bar. WOM Catering did a wonderful job and if we could do it all over again, we wouldn't have it any other way.

We worked with Leigh at Word of Mouth, and the experience could not have been better! In the months of planning, she was always very responsive and helpful to any questions we had. She did a great job working with our budget, and we always felt like she was on our side. With some vendors, you always feel like it's just about the money, but that is definitely NOT the case with WOM. Leigh was so creative and really made our proposal specific to us so that we could get everything we wanted within our budget. On our wedding day, the food was AMAZING!! It was so fresh and delicious - Just as good if not better than at our tasting. We received so many compliments from our guests about the food! Everyone couldn't believe how good it was. The service and staff was also impeccable! Everyone was so professional and nice. Working with Leigh and WOM was completely stress free, and I cannot stress how nice Leigh is. I definitely recommend Word of Mouth, and I would work with them again in a heart beat!

Leigh, Leslie and everyone else at WOM Catering are just THE BEST! From the second we sat down at our tasting we knew they totally understood our vision. We had themed food stations from the places that meant a lot to us (Texas and Lousiana) and they executed them perfectly. They had never done some of the Louisiana dishes before, but let me tell you...they were AWESOME! They did boudin balls, fried oyster tostadas, crab/seafood gratin, red beans and rice etc. The guests are STILL talking about my wedding food! They also did my wedding cake and I HIGHLY recommend using them - it's so much easier to have it done through the same vendor and my cake turned out beautiful...and delicious! If you want the highest quality food and best service - you have to use WOM!

Word of Mouth did a great job with our wedding. The food was amazing, and they gave us some cute ideas for original little extras, like Margarita Jello Shots. I know that sounds kind of tacky, but they were amazing and nothing like the jello shots of your youth. They also managed all of the rentals and the venue set-up and tear down, which was amazing since I didn't hire a wedding planner. A truly great full-service caterer!

WOW! What can I say about this company! From the moment we met all the way up until and after the big day, Leslie and his wonderful team were magnificent. I was blown away by how attentive Leslie was and how very at ease he was with making my day become and be MY DAY. He listened and understood, he took great notes and applied them to what I wanted. And even after I got laid off and had to cut back drastically, Word of Mouth delivered and I was still able to have my BIG day be MY DAY. Love LOVE LOVE the service and the attention to making things exactly what you want and being reasonable at the same time. I thank you so much Leslie. There aren't enough words to describe how great you were to me, my family and my husband. We adore this company and would HIGHLY Recommend you use their services. The experience from just working with them is worth the price!

My venue had a list of approved caterers and Word of Mouth was at the top, and was recommended to me by my wedding planner. I attended one of their tastings with my mom, MOH and FMIL and we all loved every single thing we had! I loved their take on grits so much that I added it to my menu. We went with a Tex-Mex/Fajita theme to go with our outdoor venue but wanted to spruce it up a bit so Myra suggested an avocado & salsa bar where the guests got to build their own avocado/guacamole and it was a big hit! Every single guest we talked to the night of our wedding raved about how delicious the food was, and we kept getting compliments for days after. Not only was the food amazing, but they did everything they could to ensure that our day was perfect. As soon as the wedding party walked down the aisle and went to go take pictures they were greeted with their own tray of wine and passed hor'dourves so they wouldnt miss out. My husband and I also had a private dinner waiting for us after pictures with a server dedicated to making sure we had everything we needed. Their entire staff's demeanor was so friendly and professional we really felt taken care of all night. I'd recommend them to any bride!

Myra and her crew (especially Nancy) were amazing and such a pleasant group to work with! At any time, the caterers would be around asking if any guest would like a drink or food. They were extremely friendly, like a friend working at your wedding. The food was delicious and absolutely NO ONE had complaints about the service or the food. The whole food and drink service flowed so perfectly I was amazed!!

We used WOM at One World Theatre for our reception, and were very happy with the food. We had pecan crusted chicken, pepper and goat cheese stuffed beef, chilean sea bass, and some delicious sides. WOM does wedding cakes now too, but we didn't use them because we had already signed up with someone else, but we tasted the cakes and they were yummy too.
