I know we needed someone that could bring my now husband out of his shell and the number of photos that have him naturally LOLing is amazing. She was wonderful with our pup, Cooper, and has the most energetic and positive personality that will just have you beaming in your shoot. And, when needed, she can bring the hammer and get everyone in line. Her weird matched our weird, which is hard to do. We cannot recommend Sarah Jane enough! For our engagement session, she found ways to make us comfortable so our pictures came out candid and natural. She always brings different props and tools to try new shots, but will ensure all of the classic poses are covered. For our wedding, Sarah Jane arrived early to the venue to scope out different backdrops. She immediately checked on me (the bride) to ensure I had what I needed. Our venue did not have AC in part of the building and Sarah Jane immediately gave me a portable fan to cool down, and checked on me throughout the evening. We got our sneak peek photos back within 48 hours of our wedding and WOW are they stunning. Sarah Jane is a pro at capturing warmth, and I know we will be looking back at these photos for decades. You cannot go wrong with Sarah Jane as your photographer, she is the complete package and will make you feel like her number one client throughout the entire process!!!

ally accepted. She was the most hype-girl photographer we could have ever asked for! Even though I was sick during our travels, Sarah Jane made me feel like I was the most beautiful bride! She was super excited to join us overseas, and into to the adventure of finding a beautiful place to stay. Our elopement was in the Nordic winter, but she gave us confidence that regardless of what the weather brought we were going to have a beautiful wedding. We lucked out and caught a full day of golden hour sunshine and took full advantage of the fjords, mossy grounds, and "paid" seagulls flying behind our ceremony! I are a little camera shy and wanted a session with a photographer who didn't just pose us, but also made us feel comfortable in front of the camera and captured us naturally. Sarah Jane did just that - she played music and made us laugh the entire time we had our session, which made us relax and enjoy ourselves for the full two hour session. This was also reflected in the photos - no one would ever have known we are camera shy people from the photos! But they’re also stressful and sometimes awkward. There are the family members you don’t quite get along with and a thousand other hiccups that you worry will ruin the day. Having a photographer that can capture the joy while soothing the stress was a godsend. From the moment we met Sarah Jane, we knew we were in good hands. Personally, we hadn't been to many weddings for other people, so we weren't sure what to expect from photographers or weddings, for that matter. Sarah Jane took the time to get to know us and understand what we were looking for in our wedding photos. Sarah Jane was brilliant—she provided clear lines of communication and met with us on Zoom several times before the big day. She helped us establish a day-of wedding timeline, a shot list for our most important family group photos, and a set of important details we wanted to have photographed. On the day of our wedding, Sarah Jane was an absolute delight and a calming presence. She arrived early and was ready to go. She was organized and detail-oriented, following the timeline of events that she had helped us create, and she came prepared with everything she needed, including a pen for us to sign our wedding documents. We didn’t do an engagement shoot and had never done a couples photoshoot before, but Sarah made it fun and easy. I felt she really captured us, was excited about our vision, and was such a great hype woman during all the photos. Her planning in advance gave me full confidence the day would go well (even our DJ commented on her amazing timeline), but her ability to adapt and switch things really made our photos great. Advice from several friends was to book a photographer you wanted to hang with all day (because you will be) and Sarah was exactly that!

and for the wedding itself. During the getting ready pictures, we felt super comfortable right off the bat as Sarah put me and the wedding party at ease. She made taking pictures fun and exciting. We truly appreciated her enthusiasm through it all and her subtle reminders to “relax and enjoy the wedding!” Sarah also sent us a sneak peek of our photos within 24 hours which is crazy amazing of her!! We then received the rest of our photos within 6 weeks. We love love them all. Our wedding party and family praised and applauded Sarah for taking such amazing photos and for making it such an enjoyable time while doing so!

eing a bride the day of her wedding!) SJ was the best decision my husband and I made. I honestly get emotional as I think about how grateful I am. My mother in law had a debilitating stroke a year ago so I knew the wedding was going to be emotional. At one point my MIL made it all the way up a set of stairs to see me try on my gown. She had never gone up stairs before. As she was coming up I began to cry. She cried. Other family and friends cried. We embraced in the biggest hug ever. Sarah Jane caught every single moment. The tears. The facial expressions. The embrace. Everything. Aside from Sarah Jane capturing amazing moments like this (including my husband crying as he saw me down the aisle) but she was FUN!! As part of our package we did an engagement shoot and chose a cute cabin at Mount Rainier. Sarah Jane scoped out the place and made it such an easy going and even giddy experience. We played records which got my husband and I dancing, and even did an impromptu photo shoot in the hot tub. She constantly did things to make us laugh and smile for the camera, and we ended up making an album of photos because they were all so “us.” Thank you times a million to Sarah Jane. Photos are FOREVER. She is worth EVERY PENNY. ❤️❤️
