One of the things my husband and I are most thankful for in the planning of our wedding was using World of Wisdom and having Derek as our officiant. I come from a Catholic background and my parents were hoping for a traditional relgious ceremony while my husband and I were interested in getting married outside and with a spirutal ceremony. Derek helped currate for us the best of both worlds for our wedding and in the end, there was not a dry eye in the house during our ceremony.
Derek was so easy to talk to and really got to know both of us. At the rehersal he took charge and really showed his proffesional expertise. It was so nice as a bride to have one less thing to worry about. He was such a leader at the rehersal and his professionality made us really happy that we didn't have just friend officate for us, but someone who is truly an expert at what they do and who is also so filled with joy to be a part of a marriage story.

Choosing an officiant was something my husband and I felt very unsure about. How do you choose someone to lead you through the most important moment of your life? When we found Derek’s business page online the reviews were glowing, and he ended up being the first and only officiant we met with. At our introduction meeting Derek spent about an hour getting to know us, hearing about our lives and how we met. It felt more like chatting with a family friend than a business meeting. In the months leading up to our wedding Derek’s communication was extremely thorough. He gave us so many great options and tips to help us create the perfect ceremony. When it came to our rehearsal Derek made our whole party feel comfortable and kept everything organized. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect, and Derek played a big part in that, including giving both of us (bride & groom) a kind and reassuring pep talk before the ceremony. Our ceremony was everything we could have imagined and more, and our friends and families had so many positive things to say about Derek afterwards. We could not be happier with our experience and highly recommend Derek!
