Worthington Hills Country Club

We were originally scheduled for our wedding on 8/1/20. Due to Covid, we ended up getting married on our day but in my parents’ back yard. We then had our reception on 7/31/21 at WHCC. Christy Baker was there for me every step of the way! Countless calls during the pandemic, endless support as the reception drew closer, and so much help on the actual day! She even took the time to bring drink orders out to my bridal party during our photo session! I cannot say enough good things about WHCC! We ended up doing a heavy appetizer reception with a mashed potato bar, candied bacon, the southwest chicken egg rolls, mini sliders, fruit and veggies! I think people loved the food and had a great time! I know I did!

Our wedding was on 5/11/2019 and it was AMAZING! We worked with Christy Baker and she was very kind and helpful during our planning process. Our menu was the following: -Fruit Tray- delicious! -Meatballs- yummy! -Bruschetta- SO GOOD -Pecan Crusted Chicken- SO SO SO SO SO GOOD -Lasagna- average but delicious -Mashed Potatoes- best I have had -Green Beans- yum! The guests loved the food and went back for seconds and thirds. The bar was always packed, but the bartender did a great job getting everyone their drinks quickly. I would totally recommend getting married there, and the best part of all is that we came under budget! This venue is very cost friendly.

Where do I begin? Christy Baker is simply amazing! She is incredibly responsive and ALWAYS lightens the mood. Her flexibility made our wedding day stress free. The Worthington Hills Country Club allows you to pay the remaining balance of your bill when you get back from your honeymoon which is pretty amazing considering you can use wedding money to pay it off if you are in a pinch. The venue also allows you to pick up all of your wedding decorations the next day which is AMAZING since you don’t want to deal with it night of. Most venues don’t allow that. Definitely recommend this venue and Christy!

We had our ceremony and reception at WHCC two weeks ago, and it was amazing! Christy, Jocelyn, and Kyle were the absolute best to work with throughout the entire process and truly made the day as stress-free as possible. The food was great, the staff was fantastic and professional, and location is gorgeous. We could not have asked for a better team to work with and I highly recommend WHCC as a venue!

This venue was perfect for us! It was within our budget, beautiful, and flexible. Our ceremony was supposed to be held outside on the patio, but it ended up storming so we moved it indoors without an issue at all! We were able to set up for the ceremony/reception the night before the wedding which was very helpful. Christy was great to work with. She made sure everything was how we wanted! The only reason we gave this venue a 4/5 stars was because the food was not the best...it did not taste nearly as good as when we had our tasting and the presentation was not as nice as what we were shown during our tasting either. We were a bit disappointed considering what we paid for per guest when it came to the food.

We had our wedding reception here a few weeks ago and it was perfect! Rian was the biggest help from start to finish, always keeping in touch with us to finalize the smallest of details. Our guests loved the food and the drinks were cold! We couldn't have asked for more, the venue is beautiful especially this time of year when the trees are starting to bloom. The ballroom has such amazing natural light from all of the windows that overlooks the golf course. I would recommend WHCC to anyone looking for a gorgeous, and still affordable venue!

My husband and I got married in an outdoor ceremony here, as well as held our cocktail hour and reception here in October 2017. Every aspect of this venue was exceptional! Rian and her staff went beyond our expectations to ensure that our wedding day was perfect. The venue looks even nicer than it does in the online photos. They've done some renovations recently, and when we toured the venue we didn't expect it to look as nice as it does. We compared a lot of venues (price, offerings, location, looks, etc.), and Worthington Hills Country Club came out on top. The food is priced fairly, and was really good. We got many compliments from our guests on how good the food was (we did salmon, pork tenderloin, and the Vegetable Risotto as our entrees). The bartenders also provided quality service to our guests. We had around 140 people attend, and the space was perfect. We are very happy that we chose WHCC! THANK YOU!

My husband and I had our wedding reception at Worthington Hills last week and I do not have enough amazing things to say about this venue. Rian, the event manager at the club, is absolutely the best. She truly went above and beyond and helped out with everything we needed from decor, timeline, vendor recommendations, and everything in between. Service, entertainment, and food were the 3 focus areas of our wedding and our guests are still raving about their time at Worthington Hills. The main courses and appetizers looked beautiful and were absolutely delicious, the service was top notch, and we were able to accommodate a band in the venue. Thank you so much to everyone involved, the whole wedding was an absolute dream!

Rian and the team at WHCC exceeded our expectations. Rian was an absolutely joy to work with and her personality and professionalism kept us at ease. There were various menu options and Chef definitely delivered on our wedding day. The ballroom was recently remodeled with great taste and the venue as a whole is very appealing. Rian was so helpful in organizing everything from the high-level logistics to the small details of the room decor. WHCC is one of the best all-around wedding venues in central Ohio.

We held our wedding reception at Worthington Hills Country Club this past August. We were blown away by the attentiveness of Rian Hassan and her staff to every detail. She responded to emails promptly and communicated very well so everyone was on the same page. They made special arrangements for guests with food allergies so everyone could enjoy a delicious meal. We went with a buffet dinner which was executed smoothly and efficiently so everyone got their warm food in a timely manner. Our guests are still raving about the food and service they experienced that evening! The recent renovations of the clubhouse are beautiful and the view of the golf course is amazing! Our photographer captured so many wonderful photographs as we explored the golf course. We could not be more pleased with our choice to work with Worthington Hills Country Club!

I could have not asked for a more beautiful wedding!! We got married outside on the lawn, had cocktail hour outside at the bar and then reception inside in their beautiful, updated ballroom. Everything was absolutely perfect and that I owe in part to Rian. She is absolutely amazing, answered every email very fast, no matter what the question was. I do not have enough words to tell you how perfect this place is! If you are looking at the Worthington Hills Country Club just book it now, you will not be disappointed!

We worked with Rian for almost 2 years to plan our wedding, she was very patient with us and our requests; however, day of, we were checked on quite a bit while getting ready in the morning which was great! But day of, the venue did not set up our place cards for guests at their tables even though they agreed to do so literally the day prior to our wedding. This happened with various things we had expected the country club to do, which luckily my Decorator and husband (who had to stop taking pictures with his family and groomsman) to do since they decided they weren't going to. Once our event was getting closer to start, there wasn't much sight of Rian or our evening coordinator- she literally only spoke to me once during the whole event. And even if I needed her, I would have had no idea how to find her or get ahold of her. We were supposed to get a golf cart for us to go out onto the greens to take pictures- that was never provided for us. We got a ton of complements on food-but it was obvious it had been cooked and sat for quite awhile. The venue is beautiful and the staff is okay, except for their receptionist who was rude to a few of my guests who needed a locker room for medical reasons-it didn't seem like there was clear communication between staff members. So I personally had to go locate a staff member and get it taken care of while I was supposed to be getting ready. I would choose this venue again; however, make sure you have a day of coordinator or someone to be sure things are getting done and keep things running smoothly. I'm slightly disappointed with the execution of our wedding- I had such high expectations after meeting with Rian for so many months. My husband and I had to be a lot more hands on than I had anticipated, especially after spending so much money. I was asked a lot of the same questions multiple times (which is absolutely fine- I know there was a lot going on) but then things still weren't done correctly. We told the staff to place a table by our wedding arbor for our unity ceremony along with a box- that never happened. So our unity ceremony during our wedding had to be basically non-existent and improvised last minute by our pastor. So once again, the venue is nice and recently renovated , food is good, but make sure you have good vendors working with you closely day of to be sure things are getting done correctly or to help out with MISC. things.

My daughter's reception was scheduled at the Worthington Hills Country Club only 45 days before the wedding day because her original venue cancelled on us. Rian was very helpful in recreating the original reception plan. She was amazing to work with. The reception was beautiful and the evening went smoothly. We appreciate all that she and the staff did for us.

I am so happy my husband and I went with the Worthington Hills for our wedding venue. With the new renovations the space is absolutely beautiful. And the team is so great to work with :) Our main point of contact was Rian, who was my go to for every thing. Rian was so helpful, kind, and had great communication with me the whole way down to the day! so thankful for how things went. I would recommend the Worthington Hills over and over : )

Wow, my husband and I could not have picked a better venue for our wedding!! If you are considering Worthington Hills Country Club, you should definitely pick this place...trust me, you will not be disappointed! From the very beginning, Rian was such a huge help! If I e-mailed her a question, she would always respond quickly and was always so willing to help. She made the wedding planning process so much easier and was just so pleasant to work with. I don't know that we would have received that kind of help from someone at any other venue. Rian and the WHCC staff were so awesome on our wedding day. They made sure everything ran smoothly and checked on us frequently to make sure we had everything we needed. The food was absolutely delicious and our guests made many comments on that! Our guests also complimented how nice and classy the venue was. The whole day was absolutely perfect and we could not be happier with how everything turned out. Like I said, our wedding day was perfect thanks to WHCC! I told my husband everyone should get married there. It was everything we dreamed our wedding would be!

We hosted our daughters wedding at WHCC yesterday. We cannot begin to express how amazing and easy the process was from the first phone call with Rian Hassan their events coordinator to the very helpful staff that was cleaning up as we left. Everything went off just perfectly. They provide not only a reception venue indoors, but we also had our wedding on the patio overlooking the golf course. We then had a cocktail hour at the outside patio area while photos were being taken. We had multiple compliments that they had the best food that many of our guests had ever had at a wedding! From the early morning when we were allowed to come and set up at our convenience, to the end of the evening, the entire day was perfect. Thank you to Rian, Greg Steller and their entire staff.

I just held my wedding ceremony & reception at this site. Rian, the catering manager was wonderful to work with and very accommodating. The venue was beautiful and well maintained. We had 100 guests at our wedding and the space was a perfect size for that group. With perfect weather, we were able to use the outside patio space to hold our wedding ceremony. Worthington Hills allowed us to us any outside vendors that we wanted, which was nice for the cake, DJ, and photographers. Thanks for a wonderful day!

Not that I had a doubt that we wouldn't have a great wedding reception based on how our experience was from the day we first met to plan it there, but it's a little nerve racking to wait and see if all of your idea's and your vendors come together. WHCC truly made it easy. Catering Sales Manager, Rian, was very responsive via email which was my preferred method of communication. I was constantly emailing her with different questions from the vendors or about moving tables around for flowers or lighting. When we first met she gave us a packet that contained all of the pricing. I also liked the fact that the pricing could always be found on their website. That was nice for me as I was always working on the wedding budget and often times it was outside of business hours. Rian setup a food tasting for us that was incredible and answered all of our questions about what would work best for our group of 200 with an outdoor cocktail hour and indoor reception. We had many compliments on the dinners; filet, pecan crusted chicken, and vegetable ravioli. The hors D’oeuvres were a big hit as well. Caramelized bacon being the crowd favorite! We went with a per person bar package versus paying per drink. We felt that would work best for our group. In addition to the many compliments on the food, we also had many compliments on the staff and how friendly they were and how a bartender went out of their way to find a non-alcoholic beer for a guest. The guest said the bartender found him about 10 minutes after he thought they didn’t have any. We just couldn’t be happier with how the entire evening turned out.

We had nothing but positive experiences with our reception venue - WHCC. In hindsight, the number one thing that I would look for in a reception venue is the coordinator. I can't say enough about how amazing Rian was during our whole process. She promptly answered any questions that we had, even if we sent her 4-5 e-mails in a day. Any concerns we had she met without any issues. The venue itself was also amazing, the dance floor was perfect, and there was a large area for photo booth and for our guests to conversate if they didn't want to dance. We had several compliments from our guests on the food as well, and they give several options for food and drinks. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone.

I had a wonderful wedding reception at Worthington Hills Country Club. The food and service was great. The wedding coordinator was always helpful and eager to answer all my questions. The room fit everyone comfortable and it was beautiful. Would definitely recommend!

Rian made the entire experience very relaxed by flexible especially on a day with questionable weather. The service was great and the staff did a wonderful job of setting everything up perfectly. I don't think my husband I could have picked a better venue for our wedding reception. Rian (the coordinator) was nice and helpful throughout the planning and took care of every detail on the day of our wedding. The food was outstanding (many people commented that this was the best meal they had had at a wedding) and the room itself had a very elegant feel. Every staff member was gracious and helpful. The grounds outside are also beautifully landscaped. I'm very excited to see how our pictures turned out. The outdoor patio also worked great for our cocktail hour. We are so glad that we had our reception at Worthington Hills Country Club.

We held both our wedding ceremony and reception at Worthington Hills this past April. Rian Hassan and the entire staff were wonderful. They were great in answering all my questions and very organized the entire time. When we ended up having more guests than anticipated, they were extremely accommodating and it was Rian's suggestion to hold our wedding "California style' with the guests seated at the tables during our short ceremony. This was a huge success. Our guests really liked it and by making the change we were able to have 4 buffet lines (vs. 2) and had much more room for our photo booth. We had use of the women's locker room and lounge to get ready and it was perfect. We had plenty of room to spread out, get our makeup done and get dressed. The food was fantastic, everyone loved it. Its been six months since our wedding and we're still hearing that our guests enjoyed the food. They also have reasonable prices. No wedding is cheap, but I didn't feel like they were charging too much. Additionally, they didn't charge for every function, cake cutting, chair set up, etc. Everything was included. I would highly recommend Worthington Hills for your wedding/reception. I've had nothing but positive comments from my guests about the venue/food and Rian and the rest of the staff were wonderful. Our day went perfectly and they were a big part of that.

We had a one stop shop with Worthington Hills Country Club: rehearsal, ceremony, and reception. Rian is an amazing, she handles all the little details and is always available for questions. We are still hearing from our guests how great the food was. I couldn't have asked for a better day or better wedding!

We got married and had our reception (all at Worthington Hills Country Club) in the same afternoon. The club had recently completed a new construction project allowing us to utilize a beautiful new back patio, walkway and seating area for a picture perfect outdoor ceremony. After the ceremony was over the guests retired inside to the air conditioning while the wedding party and family took pictures on the golf course / country club grounds. Both the ceremony and reception were gorgeous, and even turned out better than we had envisioned. Many of our guests commented that it was one of the prettiest and "most fun" weddings they had ever attended. We were very pleased with the services the club provided and would do it all over again exactly the same way. We especially wanted to note that WHCC provides a lot of very affordable reception options, especially compared with other Columbus-area venues. We loved it !

Worthington Hills Country Club exceeded my expectations. We've received rave reviews from our wedding guests about the food (Sauteed Supreme of Chicken with Chive Mashed Potatoes and Vegetable Medley). Even more frequently, we hear what a great atmosphere our reception was - while we'd like to think this was due to our meticulous planning, we know that it really came down to the ambient lighting, panoramic views, and helpful staff. Rian, the coordinator, was extremely helpful, honest, and flexible. While we couldn't afford an open bar for the whole evening, Rian worked within our budget so we could offer our guests complimentary beer and wine for the 90 minute cocktail hour. The bar later turned into a cash bar, with all proceeds counting towards our food and beverage minimum - an unexpected surprise. The grounds of the facility are beautiful, with several great photo-worthy spots. Adequate parking and easy to find, which our guests appreciated. White table linens and a napkin color of your choice are included in the service charge, as are small white votive candles and vases. The chairs were absolutely beautiful and comfortable for those wanting to watch the dance floor from the sidelines. While WHCC does have a food and beverage minimum for Saturday night events, it was just about the lowest we've found in Columbus. I would highly recommend WHCC for any engaged couple seeking understated sophistication for a surprisingly attractive price.

Our daughter was married on June 30th - the day after a storm knocked out power in the Columbus area. We worked with Rian during the planning process and she was extremely capable, friendly, and professional. On Saturday morning we were amazed to find out that she and the staff had started preparing Friday night, by procuring generators and doing everything possible to keep the reception intact! There was enough power for the ovens (and DJ!) and 177 guests were served as if nothing were wrong. The appetizers, cocktails, and dinner were excellent - a comment repeated by many friends and family members. The dining room was beautiful and the staff exceptional. Many venues had cancelled receptions that day, but Worthington Hills came through with flying colors! We highly recommend Worthington Hills Country Club for any type of event, especially a wedding reception!

My steo-daughter got married here in May...wedding and cocktails on patio, and dinner/dancing upstairs. Rian and crew bent over backwards to ensure it was perfect in every way. THey were so easy to work with and so accomodating. We still are getting so many complements on the venue and event.

Our experience with Worthington Hills Country Club and their staff was absolutely amazing. We did our ceremony and reception outside as the sun set with perfect weather. The WHCC staff was very laid back and made all of our guests feel comfortable and right at home. We are still getting positive comments about their hospitality, food, and overall service. Rian at worthington was GREAT. She took every detail and when I walked into my reception It was excactly like I wanted it to be. Rian and her staff set the whole day up and tore the whole thing down. The food was wonderful (everyone loved it) and the room and golf course were great. The Service was AMAZING! Again had a wonderful experience with this group

I had my wedding ceremony and reception held at WHCC and it was absolutely perfect! The staff was excellent with set-up and tear down, and the food was fabulous!! I would definitely recommend this site for anyone looking for a stress free/ beautiful wedding day!

They were so helpful and cooperative with ANYTHING that we wanted/needed. The food was fabulous, the staff was kind and helpful, and they were willing to go above and beyond with anything we asked for.

I highly recommend Worthington Hills Country Club for your wedding reception. They have an fabulous staff that did all the work for me. It was like having a built-in wedding planner. The room looked absolutly beautiful, the service was outstanding any my guests raved over the delicious food and hors d'oeurves. Highly recommend!

Everything WHCC did for our wedding was absolutley perfect. The events coordinator Rian is amazing. She took care of everything and didn't even blink when I was emailing her the night before the wedding changing tables assignments. The room looked gorgeous and we have received numerous comments that the food was the best wedding food our guests had ever had. We are memebers of the club so the exceptional service was no surprise to us but if you have never been there before you should check it out!
