The roasts we asked him to read during the grand entrance were perfect, the videos and pictures he took throughout the night were incredible, the personalized monogram was beautiful, and the That’s WOW Photo Booth was SO much fun (the old-school photo strips were such an amazing touch, and we are still in awe that Tara put together an entire scrapbook for us to take home at the end of the night - what an amazing gift)! Before the dance kicked off DJ Joey even played some little kid music which had all of the young kids on the dance floor. We didn't even ask for that, he just id it and they kids/parents loved it.
Leading up to the wedding Joey was super helpful too. He helped us with our timeline, communicated with us on song choice, payment updates, backdrop choice and more. He helped make our reception run smoothly and he acted as a my day of wedding planner. I didn't have to worry about a thing because Joey took care of it all!

DJ Johnny James did a great job with introductions, announcements, and had a great sense of humor. He kept the party going and our dance floor was never empty. We also had a monogram light on the wall and I was able to make the design myself and it turned out great. was apparently too busy running his own DJ business...). I asked for a different DJ and at this point, I will say Wow! absolutely took care of us, Sean stepped in as our DJ. We were finally able to walk through the plan for the day, our song selections, etc. Sean did a great job, very personable and did his best to follow our plan (we were behind schedule, which wasn't his fault). There were a couple brief sound hiccups during the First Dance and Daughter-Father Dance, but smooth sailing after that. I've never been at a wedding where the dance floor was this consistently full. Be certain to spell out when you want to go over the event with any DJ, most don't seem too worried about it until the week of the wedding, which is crazy to me (its a busy week already), we wanted 30 days out, with a follow up the week of.

. Our DJ was even the owner of the company!!! David yelled at me because I wasn't ready for the bouquet toss, which was immediately after the wedding party dance. I've never been at a wedding where that was the very first thing done but he insisted he had done that for 30+ years. David then told my husband (in front of some guests) that he couldn't get along with me. There was another incident where he yelled at little children for getting too close to the lighting and acted in a threatening manner to the parents. Most people could not hear the DJ announce things like dollar dance. He arrived late so therefore the lighting will not be in any of our professional photos. As a professional DJ service, we expected much more than what we received. We expected a fun-loving DJ that would be flexible to accommodate the bride, groom, and guests. We did not receive anything but negative remarks from our guests. I recommend to anyone NOT to hire them.

ea, so we decided to take the chance. BAD IDEA. First of all, there was a huge lack of communication leading up to the wedding. Every time I would call to confirm details, no one would know exactly which DJ was doing my wedding. Then we had to pay an extra $100 for them to play our slideshow during the reception. When the time came to play the slideshow, the guy didn't even know that it was in the contract or that he was suppose to do it. So my dad had to set everything up in a rush.
Also, when I heard that they were probably crappy DJ's, I decided to make a "Must-Play" list with enough songs to take up the entire night. And then I decided to make a "DO-NOT-PLAY-LIST" just in case. This DJ was playing very few songs off my list, so finally I walked over and asked, "Did they give you the list of songs that I emailed?" And he's like, "Yeah, it's right here." And he showed it to me, so I said, "Okay, let's play those songs then." And so he did for a while, and then went back to doing his own things. So I walked back over there and requested a song. And he says to me, "Okay, I'm just going to play two more songs and then I'll play that one." Uhh.... What?!?
Also - WORST ANNOUNCER EVER. When he started the first dance for my husband and I, we were still across the room sitting at the head table eating our cake. We had to scramble over to the dance floor after the song had already started. Just ridiculous.
