If you are looking for an AMAZING wedding, look no further than the Wyndham Grand at Clearwater Beach. When we came for our venue tour several members of the staff including the valet were already expecting us and we felt so special even before signing the contract ! Rebecca and Wendy were there to answer all questions and bring our vision to life. The Wyndham also works with a list of recommended vendors who are outstanding; they know the property extremely well and you will get the best photos and videos! I was extremely nervous on my wedding day but Rebecca was there the entire time , making sure our reception room was perfect ; she helped with every last detail and made our day magical. The Wyndham staff were tremendous and treated our family as if they were their own. If you are looking for an amazing venue especially for a beach wedding look no further!

Hosting our wedding at Wyndham Grand Clearwater Beach was one of the best decisions we made on our wedding journey! We started this process feeling quite nervous, as one of our most important criteria was finding a venue with experience hosting Vietnamese weddings. Our wedding day would be bilingual with several embedded cultural elements. From our initial discussions with the event manager and representatives at Wyndham, we felt reassured. Wendy and Rebecca went above and beyond to accommodate our various needs and requests throughout the six months leading up to the wedding day. The chef worked closely with us to customize dishes to deliver the most authentic Vietnamese cuisine as possible. Despite a few twists and turns in the days leading up to the wedding, as expected with all weddings, what impressed us most was the team’s flexibility and dedication. Our wedding day at Wyndham Grand Clearwater Beach turned out to be absolutely amazing. We received constant positive feedback from our guests, who emphasized how incredible their experience was. Not only was the venue beautiful and upscale, but the food served was delicious—even satisfying the pickiest taste buds in our families. Everyone left the wedding feeling happy with the service provided by the venue staff that evening. Lastly, the complimentary sweetheart suite where we stayed the night after our wedding was truly the best hotel/resort experience we’ve ever had. We want to express our heartfelt thanks to the entire Wyndham team, especially Rebecca and Wendy. They were exceptionally accommodating and always available when we needed them. For example, Rebecca made an effort to answer our emails even while she was unwell and out of the office for a few days. This is a true testament to her dedication to making our wedding day vision come true. We highly recommend Wyndham Grand Clearwater Beach to anyone planning their wedding. Wendy joined Wyndham Grand Clearwater Beach as a Catering Sales Manager in March 2017. Prior to joining Wyndham, Wendy spent over twenty years as a Catering Sales Manager with Hilton Hotels. Most recently with the Hilton Carillon Park in St. Petersburg for 11 years. Her passions are weddings, Galas, and creating relationships with the local corporate market. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons.

had nothing but great things to stay about the hotel and cocktail/reception space. We had our ceremony by the pool, while there were people still at the pool it was never distracting and they put up barrier walls to allow for privacy. The food was delicious as well with a lot of options for people with dietary restrictions. I can not say enough good things!! You will not regret having a wedding here!

destination wedding much easier. Now, for the warning to other brides: do NOT have your ceremony here. There are no outdoor spaces that are worth using. Since this was a destination wedding, I wanted the beach. I feel they took advantage of the fact I was too far away to see the space and understand what it entailed. The beach ceremony was horrific. It's a public beach with tons of people, ugly signs, cones, and trashcans that "could not be moved." and the worst part was the garbage truck that came right behind the alter while we said our vows, and city workers "flipping off" my guests. I'm not saying everyone should stop what they're doing to accommodate a public beach wedding, but some honesty from the Wyndham or company they contracted for the ceremony space within the 10 months I planned this wedding would have gone a long way. I could have had my ceremony at a different location and provided guest transportation, or made other arrangements, but instead I had a horrible ceremony space that my guests noticed and complained about. It broke my heart. Please be honest with your clients.

erfect for our stay. On top of that our wedding reception was PERFECT! Kayla helped us plan everything to a T and there were no hiccups at all. She answered all my questions quickly and was able to make my dreams come true. It was legit perfect. The staff day of helped every need the guests or we had. The food was amazing all day. We had breakfast in our suite, dinner at the reception and a late night snack, all delicious! Everyone who attended our wedding was so impressed with the venue, staff and food. The timelines were met and everything was so beautiful. I cannot express enough how grateful we are and how wonderful everything turned out! It was amazing and I will be recommending the Wyndham to everyone I know! We are out of state but will be traveling back to Clearwater often just because the staff and location was so great! Chynna also had great customer service and was very helpful throughout the entire planning process. She had weekly calls with me leading up to the wedding and was very responsive. She was extremely attentive the day of and handled any last minute changes with ease. Her coworker Kayla was also very helpful! We stayed at the resort for about a week overall and the entire staff from the housekeeping, waitstaff, bartenders, guest services, etc. were so friendly and helpful! Our guests raved about the amazing food at the wedding and resort, clean rooms and friendly staff. I would HIGHLY recommend the Wyndham Grand if you are in search of a wedding venue.

good hands from our very first initial contact with Danielle (Group Sales Manager). She connected us with their preferred wedding planner which set us on a course for success. She repeatedly checked in with us to ensure we were taken care of and the communication was A+! Many of our guests decided to stay the weekend at the Wyndham and April (Rooms Controller) could not have been more helpful. (Thank you April for answering so many questions!) We arrived at the Wyndham a few days before the wedding to relax and settle in before the craziness ensued. The concierge accommodated our early check-in, our million bags, and greeted us with complimentary champagne. (YES!) Within 15 minutes of checking in, we slipped into bathing suits and ordered Pina coladas by the pool - it couldn't have been more idyllic! The beach is just steps away and we loved enjoying all aspects of this incredible location. As with any wedding, there's always last minute changes. From needing last minute name placements at Ocean Hai (thank you, Chelsea and Ivan!) to actually losing my flower delivery (thank you David at concierge!!!) the entire team solved all my issues promptly. They made what should have been a stressful weekend simply magical and stress-free. We chose to have our ceremony on the Palm Lawn -- absolutely gorgeous! You can see the gulf directly from the site. The backdrop looked like a postcard. When it came time to walk down the aisle... it was like something out of a fairytale... I was actually taken aback. Not only did our wedding guests stand, the ENTIRE pool area stood! People came out to their balconies to watch - it was as if time stood still for those few moments and it was so romantic. The rest of the day we had hotel guests coming up to congratulate us and we felt enveloped in love from everyone there. We will return to the Wyndham for the rest of our lives to remember this special weekend and the vows we shared in this spot. Thank you to the entire team!

Thanks to the Wyndham, we were able to get married indoors overlooking the beach (and not be outside in the summer heat!!), and our ceremony pictures turned out so pretty thanks to the natural lighting. We were able to convert that same room into the perfect set up for our reception, and we had a blast! Wendy and Ariel were so great to work with, and they were so patient with us as we took the time to make all of the big and small decisions. Ariel went above and beyond with her communication with myself and my wedding planner, and helped ensure that everything flowed very smoothly. Everything turned out exactly as we envisioned, and you really can't ask for much more than that! My husband and I loved that we were able to go onto the beach for sunset pictures, and we are so appreciative of all that was done to make our day so great. Highly recommend!

I got a good discount on the block of hotel rooms, I had an attrition clause in my contract and they were going to charge us to hand out hotel guest bags. Both pre and post signing of the contract the sales people were very attentive (and as we had an attrition clause I was contacting them almost daily to know how full the bock of rooms was). Don't be afraid to ask for discounts. We did get 2 free parking vouchers and discounted parking rate for everyone else.
