X2O Xaviars on the Hudson

Having our reception at X20 was the best decision we made. Julian, the event manager, was phenomenal from the first phone call (which was made 20 minutes after we sent an inquiry email on a Saturday morning). He is organized, thoughtful, and considerate and made our night the BEST, and the months leading up to it were totally stress-free. My husband and I prioritized having great food and an open bar, and we got that in spades at X20. We've been to weddingS (plural...sigh) where food and/or drinks have run out, or cocktail hour is 2 trays of food and leaves folks starving, and it was absolutely not what we wanted to have our guests experience. X20 was absolutely supreme - our family and friends are still reaching out to us to rave about both the quality of the food (both cocktail hour and dinner) and service - they felt like they were being followed around with food at the cocktail hour in the best way! The staff was so lovely and attentive and made everyone feel taken care of and ensured all were well fed and hydrated! Working with Julian and X20 also took meant that they care of: linens, dishes, food/bar service, the installable dance floor, photo booth, and flowers. All of that came in the very reasonably priced package that allowed us to take over the entire restaurant for the evening. I have friends that are coordinating with 14+ vendors and paying what we paid in total just for a space. Honestly, my husband and I tell everyone to get married / have their events at X20. We're thrilled that we did and can't wait to return for anniversaries and future special occasions.

The night before the big day along with my MOH they made sure everything was perfect from seating arrangements to flowers. Not much decor was needed because of the amazing views. Everyone was very attractive my guests and myself felt like royalty. The food was so so so good! I can’t wait to return.

October 2016 my wife and I had a casual brunch wedding in the Hudson room for 60 people. We were allowed to arrive early at 12:30 before the restaurant opened at 1:00 and we had a ceremony there. It was $49 per person for a three course meal, unlimited proseco , coffee, tea, and soft drinks and a 2 tier cake of our choice. Valet was $100. Service was amazing and everyone was very nice. The food was great as always and the views of the Hudson were fabulous. The Hudson room sits above the main dining floor and does get loud during lunch service due to the room being open. The Hudson room is accessed by a staircase only. X2O also provides menu cards, table numbers, and small flowers for each table. I have dined at X2O over a dozen times for dinner and never been disappointed and our wedding was no different. If your looking to do a full service I know you can rent out the whole restaurant as well.

Food great, service in restaurant excellent. Parking valet ruined a wonderful evening. They were rude and lied. Waited over an hour while they had the car in one spot and when we asked about the car and make they lied and said it was in the garage , meanwhile it was parked right bynthe valet booth. Many people waited over a half an hour to an hour. They need to be replaced immediately. We have been to the restaurant many times in the past, but we will be boycotting it until the valet is replaced.
