For an introverted couple who do not like the spotlight, they made sure we didn't feel awkward and didn't feel as if we were constantly in front of a camera. They provided very good directions for posing, which was helpful for us, and we were able to enjoy the day without any worries. The photos are beautiful and we received sneak peeks and the full gallery when they said we would. The same with our wedding video. Part of our package, we had their photobooth too. It was very easy to use and we loved the album Xcitephoto provided for our guests to fill out as they took their photos. The props were cute and everyone loved it! We could not have asked for a better team on our wedding day.

e what to expect. We had our initial consultation with Andrew and he talked us through different packages he offers. We decided on what we wanted and then fast forward to a week before the wedding. I received an email with a sheet to fill out just offering a little more detail about the day timeline and who everyone in our party was and just little details like that. I asked if we would be able to send over a shot list for Andrew to look through before our final meeting and they were happy to accommodate. Kristen was my main point of contact during this time and she was so sweet! On the day of the wedding, Andrew did a great job at directing us for the shots he needed and made sure to get the shots we wanted. We got a photobooth with our video package and everyone loved it! He brought a book for people to place a copy of their photo strips in so my husband and I were able to see all the photos taken. This was such a great touch that we didn't expect! When we got our video back, we were blown away! The video is absolutely beautiful. My in-laws said it was the best wedding they've seen! We were able to pick 2 songs for the highlight video. But that wasn't all. On top of the highlight video, he sent us raw footage so we get to have a copy of our vows, speeches, cake cutting, and everyone having a blast forever! Not knowing much about wedding videography, our expectations were exceeded! We cannot thank or recommend Xcite photo enough!

Their work is the highest quality and their prices are very reasonable, I don't think they can be beat in that department. We were very happy with the photos and videos that they captured for us on our wedding day. We had our engagement photos at Cantigny Park with Kristen, our getting ready photos at Hotel Arista, and our ceremony and reception at Meson Sabika with Andrew, Katy, and Matt. Andrew and his team all had prior experience taking photos at all of these places. That experience was so valuable as it made the process so easy on our end. They knew where to go and coached us in the poses we would take for the photos. The process was efficient and fun! My wife and I are so awkward in front of a camera and do not consider ourselves photogenic yet Andrew and his team made us feel comfortable and did their magic in making the photos turn out so well. They are very relaxed, calm, patient, and accommodating in the midst of what is a very chaotic wedding day and meeting our expectations and staying on time. They even captured our Tea Ceremony during our wedding day and have done a lot of weddings with different customs and traditions. Their photobooth and props were also a huge hit at our wedding. They are great professionals.  The turn around time for our photos was extremely fast, within two weeks of our wedding. And our video came out in three weeks. That was greatly appreciated! When you hire Andrew, you know you are hiring someone who genuinely cares about you and your wedding day and capturing the best moments for you. For our wedding day specifically, it was raining/drizzling on and off all day. We planned to have our ceremony outdoors and it was not projected to rain come our ceremony time. But with the uncertain weather, our venue wanted to respect our request to have it outdoors but was hinting it would be best for it to be indoors for their staff which was understandable. Andrew nudged us to have it outdoors and wanted to honor our original vision for our wedding. We ended up having our ceremony outdoors and it turned out so beautiful and the pictures also turned out fantastic. A lifetime of thank you's from us to them.
