After a time, Kate transitioned from a geologist to a goldsmith, leading her to her career today. Kate’s goal is to offer her clients one-of-a-kind pieces. Her specialty is incorporating gemstones that display geologically-unique attributes. Kate uses a variety of ethically-sourced materials, and designs may be set in gold or silver. Heirlooms may also be repurposed with her services, where she is able to breathe new life into the item. To allow Kate to tell a couple’s story through beautifully crafted jewelry, those wed or planning to be wed may contact her for a meet-and-greet.

The gift was for the Dowager Countess of Strathmore and was a Celtic cross( which Kate designed)that included flown silver from my husband's mission to space. I have been working with Kate every step of the way, from sending her our ideas, sizing rings picking out gemstones and deciding on ring finishes!
