Finding a service that does hair AND makeup was so nice as many of the other companies I looked into only did one or the other and especially for a wedding day, it is best to have a single company, so it is all coordinated and you’re only dealing with one person versus multiple. Alexis was also just lovely to talk to and on very stressful days made them better with her fun, easy-going personality. Worth noting for other brides, the trial is no included in the price of the service and it is $140 per service (ie $280 if you do a hair & makeup trial). Additionally, while the contract is through Honeybook, you don’t need to pay via credit card on Honeybook. You can pay via Venmo or check to avoid the credit card fee. Also, work with your wedding planner to confirm your wedding timeline as soon as possible as there is an early start fee that is likely to come into effect if XO Beauty is doing a larger group. Overall, it was a very positive experience and I am so happy we booked with XO Beauty! Thank you, Alexis! I felt so beautiful for all of my wedding activities.

She even showed up to do my hair just a few weeks postpartum, like a rockstar! I am so grateful for her talent, professionalism, and warmth. It was an absolute pleasure working with her. Easy to talk to, easy to book, and like I said the finished product was of my dreams (and Pinterest worthy). Her assistant,Gabby, deserves a special shout out for doing hair for the 6 women of my bridal party in record time. The looks she created were stunning and again, the compliments kept rolling in. Plus they were able to have free time to enjoy relaxing before the big day. My girls were so happy. Only thing that was challenging was navigating how to do my moms hair, which was very short. But she kept at it, making adjustments until we liked it for the most part. Book Alexis for your big day! She's a bad ass boss babe with talent for miles. You won't regret it.
