While Kate’s work before the wedding was invaluable to us, we can’t express how essential she was on the actual day of our wedding. As the bride, I didn’t worry about a single thing – it was like she could read our minds, always showing up when we needed her, fixing problems under the radar, coming up with a quick solves when unexpected things happen (like my reception dress straps breaking in the middle of the dance floor, Kate was there with safety pins in a flash!) It can’t be overstated how competent and approachable she is, not just when she collaborates with the vendors, but with our large family and rowdy guests! Kate clearly cares about her clients. Never once did we feel like she gave us anything less than 150% of her effort, attention, and creativity. I was able to bounce some decor ideas off her and appreciated her input about where to spend some extra dollars or what wasn’t worth it/what guests wouldn’t notice. So we liked that she was conscious of our budget. It was helpful to have someone help me keep track of what to do next or tell me if I was forgetting anything, and we also used some of her vendor recommendations. When it came to the final week, we were able to just hand everything off to her. She checked in with all of our vendors & sent them the timeline (which she created for us). On our actual wedding day it was so nice to not have to worry about a thing and actually be able to enjoy our wedding day. If any problems came up, we had total trust in Kate to resolve it. How she set up our tables/decorations looked great. She was there to make sure all the events (first dance, speeches, cake cutting, etc.) happened on time. Kate collected all the gifts & decorations at the end of the night so that us or our parents weren’t responsible cleanup. We would definitely recommend Kate – I loved her style, she's super organized, and working with her helped reduce a lot of the stress of wedding planning.

She and her assistant where fantastic the day of ! They set up everything so beautifully, made sure myself and my husband where taken care of all night. She stood with me before the ceremony holding crackers so I could eat and not get my dress dirty, she wouldn't even let my wine glass ever be empty. We were planning the wedding from Singapore, and we needed Kate to guide us on what to expect, timing, planning, hiring some key vendors, and she was amazing to work with. Firstly, Kate is happy, bubbly, and fun to work with - just talking to her makes the stress of wedding planning go away. Secondly, she is super organized and reliable - she delivers exactly what is discussed on time and within budget. She spent time understanding our vision, budget, vendors we needed to hire, and helped us create a timeline for the months leading up to the wedding. Leading up to the wedding, she helped us with printing, Bingo sheets, our table numbers, 'Wedding Wishes' jar, created a detailed timeline and coordinated with all our vendors. In such an oversaturated market of wedding planners, she truly added value to our day and became a part of our family. I know it sounds corny, but I don't know how to say it other than that! , our answer was always, "Kate!" We hired Kate as a full planner. She completely designed our wedding with both our personalities in mind, this wasn't always easy. My husband is a huge Longhorns fan and he wanted that rusty orange to be a color for our fall wedding. I was of course against it, but Kate showed me a design that made that orange look chic and rustic, she had me sold. Kate was amazing throughout the process! She was always quick to respond to our needs. On the day of she kept all the involved vendors organized and the day was seamless. Kate was honestly the best decision we made for the planning of our big day.

There are far too many details that go into a (successful) wedding, which in hindsight I never realized or appreciated. My wedding never would have turned out the way it did (100% perfectly beautiful and magical) if I didn't have Kate holding my hand through the process. From design ideas, to suggestions on vendors, to gathering price bids and setting up calls/meetings....Kate was willing and able to do as much as I needed and wanted. She doesn't make the process feel overwhelming, but much more enjoyable and 'light', because let's be real, this is STRESSFUL! Kate had great ideas, was super organized, and kept me on track for decisions I needed to make. I live in LA but got married on the East Coast, and she was able to facilitate all the communication with the time difference, and ultimately make it all happen from 3000+ miles away. Don't make the mistake I almost did...get Kate on board to help you right away- it's the best first decision you could ever make!!

During the reception, Kate ensured everything went smoothly, including the grand entrance, speeches, food and bar service, video projection and a special performance by folk dancers. Kate even went above and beyond to check us into our wedding night suite at the hotel while we were at the reception, give the groom our room keys, and arrange for all of our decorations and our wedding gifts to be transported to our room before we arrived. For me, Kate was a lifesaver, a rock amidst a storm of wedding activity and someone I knew I could turn to at any point ! She always kept our best interests at heart as the wedding couple. I know she will be successful in her business because she is a genuinely kind person and a pleasure to work with!
