This DJ was one of the cheapest options available and it was also the DJ that my venue utilized so it was even cheaper! I liked the online planning that this service offered! It made planning all the important songs for my day very easy and they coordinated so well with my venue! The day of the wedding went off perfectly and the reception was awesome! The music was a great mix and it was fun to hear the songs I specifically asked them to play! What made it even better was NOT hearing songs that I asked the DJ not to play.

Our DJ from Xpert productions was amazing. We danced the night away at my wedding and had an amazing time. Friends are still telling me weeks later that the DJ was great. They were also very helpful in answering my questions. I did not have a list of all the songs we wanted to be played. We had the kinds of songs we didn't want played. And we knew what song we wanted to dance to and what song to use to end the reception. They were so nice in answering my calls to figure out how to fill out our dance list. I definitely recommend using them for your next event.

X-Pert Productions did a great job for my wedding. I loved that I could make my own playlist and provide a list of must-play songs, as well as other songs I wanted played at the wedding if possible. Everyone was dancing the entire time at the wedding, and we really enjoyed the DJ's work. We also were able to play the Newlywed Shoe Game which the DJ hosted for us, as well as our traditional New Orleans Second Line! Thanks for all you did for us!

XPert did a wonderful job on my wedding last month at White Oak! Angela the office manager is super responsive on any questions you have either by phone or email, plus they have a lot of package and ala carte options to work best with your budget. Ben was our DJ and he was super fun and great at keeping the party flowing smoothly! Keep up the great work!

X-Pert Productions was included in my package at Magnolia Plantation. I really liked that they gave me online access to my planning list and could pick out the music I wanted played, as well as relay any other information. They were fast in responding to any of my questions. Brian, the DJ the night of the wedding, was fun and kept the dance floor full with the music!! I received many compliments on the music, everyone had so much fun dancing, and even the bartenders were dancing behind the bars!! Highly recommended.

As I have worked in the broadcasting field for almost 2 decades, and having owned a sound company myself, I will admit I am very critical when it comes to DJ services. However, I must say, the service provided for our wedding by X-Pert Productions not only met, but exceeded our expectations. When planning your wedding, if you are looking for exceptional, professional service, look no further than X-pert Productions.

They had an easy to use online planning tool. Picking the right music is hard and Amy was very helpful to send suggestions. While none of the music lists are anything out of the box, they had all the classics and could find some of the more unique songs we wanted. Everyone said the music and flow was great. No problems with sound quality, and they were prompt. We had a last minute hiccup with a wedding coordinator, leaving me really frazzled. Amy helped me by taking over the online forms, all I had to do was send my song spreadsheet. Awesome!

Worst DJ ever. Would not stop playing slow songs. When my mother n law asked him to play more upbeat songs her old her he was told to play only slow songs (no one ever told him that). For almost 2 hours into my wedding no one was dancing and he still didn't change the way he played the music. I was very disappointed in this DJ. Will never recommend them to anyone! Only negative thing about my whole wedding!

X-Pert Productions were very professional and tended to all of my concerns and needs. Whenever I had a problem, Amy took care of it right away and made me felt reassured every time. Jeremy Endicott was our DJ and he was amazing. I made all music selections and gave him a list of more of our favorite songs, and he played them at the right moments. Jeremy was very prompt and easy to work. His attentiveness to details made the wedding flow smoothly. His equipment sounded amazing and didn't have to worry about a DJ who loved to hear their own voice but got the party hyped accordingly. The dance floor was packed and full of excitement. Even provided instrumentals for my best man to sing along to. Jeremy was a pleasure to work with and put me at ease when I trusted him with complete control of the reception. I am incredibly happy that I picked x-pert productions for my wedding DJ. The online planning schedules and song lists made getting the music I wanted at my wedding very easy. They did a great job and everything went flawlessly.

We really enjoyed our DJ- the music was wonderful and they were VERY flexible with the schedule (we actually were running about 15 minutes ahead of time towards the end, so we kept having to tell him to bump the events up). Even though we didn't have a lot of time to talk on the phone and never met in person to discuss the wedding the DJ was really nice and made excellent music selections that kept with the feel that we wanted (we're big on oldies!). Flexible on pricing, very professional. Loved the website that is used to select the music. The only thing that I can say bad is that we made it so guests could request music and one of the guests told me that he wouldn't grant her request unless I went and told him that it was ok...but this was also in the middle of all kinds of chaos, so I'm really not sure what was going on. Very nice job otherwise!

We hired X-Pert productions because they were at a great price not expecting too much, but they were really great! Definitely recommended.

X-pert productions was recommended by the venue we selected. Contacting them and setting everything up was very easy and the service was excellent. On our wedding day I spoke with the DJ Jeremy and let him know that we wanted to just have fun so pay attention to the dance floor and make music changes if people started to look "bored". That is where I think I went wrong. Maybe I needed to be a little more specific. The DJ that was selected was dull, did not interact or encourage participation, did not make musical adjustments and really only stood behind the DJ booth silent. I watched as the dance floor would completely clear off and would have to encourage guests to request any songs they wanted to hear. Overall, the lighting we chose through them was great and was displayed beautifully, but the DJ service fell short.

Wow! My dad never dances, the night of my wedding we couldn't get him and my mom off the dance floor. That was a funny sight to see. The song choice were perfect. I'd definitely choose x-pert Dj again.

Russell and I worked with James Dunegan and he was absolutely amazing. He was willing to meet with us after business hours with was the only time we could meet. Their online planner saved us from alot of headache picking out songs. Even though our first meeting was over the phone and after the meeting we knew he would be the perfect DJ for us. He made great song suggestions for our wedding including an awesome idea for the Monther-Daughter dance since Ashlee's father has passed away. He was able to turn a potentially uncomfortable situation into a fun and enjoyable one. During the wedding we got several compliments from our guests regarding James' variety of music and his enthusiasm. We would recommend James to anyone looking for a MC/DJ for their wedding.

Even from our first meeting with Dean we knew that X-Pert Productions was the right pick for us. We met him at a Bridal Show and he impressed us with his high level of professionalism and his knowledge of the music played at weddings. The night of the wedding couldn't have gone better. Our dance floor was packed the entire night! The selection of music was perfect and it moved from decade to decide smoothly and really made our reception amazing. Dean played every song on our must play list, and kept everyone dancing all night. We have heard so many compliments from our guests on DJ and one in particular said they don’t remember the last time they had that much fun at a wedding. We also added the 20 up-lighting package and it really made the room pop. I highly recommend X-Pert Productions to all bride’s out there. You won’t be regret it!

We got married last month and Dean Slama was our DJ. We initially wanted a band, however we could not afford one. We found Dean through our wedding venue and we are so lucky we did! He was better than a band and then some! My husband loves an eclectic selection of music and Dean was very eager and excited to meet with us to make a perfect playlist! The day of the wedding he was so helpful and organized everything for us! The online planner was amazing and really made things easy on us! We are so pleased with X-Pert Productions and would recommend them to all couples getting married!

X-Pert DJ's lives up to the name hands down! We were married over on Friday (2/23/13) and had an awesome experience using them. Jeremy is awesome! The guy knows his stuff, is extemely professional , and down to earth. He was very helpful thoughout our whole process helping us understand things we didnt even think about for that night. His personality fit in so well we had people ask if he was family. The service was very classy and could not have been any better!!!!! X-Pert DJ's will exceed any exceed expectations you may have, TRUST ME .

Brian is simply AMAZING!! We all know that when you book a DJ, everyone wants to make sure their guests have the time of their lives and for everyone to be entertained not to mention to keep everyone dancing. Our Wedding was nothing short of everything we hoped for thanks to Brian. and by the way.. we didn't make it easy for him.. we had an Spanish/ Puerto Rican/New Orleans flavor wedding.. so if Brian can handle mixing Salsa, Pop Spanish, and New Orleans Bounce there is nothing he can't do. Brian was so knowledgeable, read the crowd very well and took so much time and care into remembering all our families traditions, names, dates EVERYTHING. Thanks Brian. I was so incredibly pleased with this company. Jeremy was so great to work with. My husband and I have huge differences in tastes of music and we did not want a super vocal dj but we still wanted someone who could keep the party going. From our first meeting we felt that X-Pert really wanted to pick out music that would make everyone happy. They wwere extremely professional, easy to reach, and he also did our ceremony which was extremely tasteful and well done. I wanted very specific music for the ceremony and my requests were never a problem. They even made a few suggestions that everyone Fell in love with. The reception was great, constant dancing, played the right amount of slow songs and really coordinated the evening beautifully. I will recommend X-Pert DJs to everyone i know!! Thanks Jeremy!!

Dean from X-Pert Productions did an amazing job at our wedding and was so helpful and flexible with what we wanted that I don't think it could have gone any better. Dean was very professional and had a great library of music that kept the dance floor going all night. Everyone had so much fun! My wife and I spent most of the reception dancing with our friends, family, and our wedding party. He also did a great job at facilitating different events throughout the reception and making announcements right when we needed them. He even helped the photographer gather everyone as she needed them for pictures. If you want everyone to dance and have a blast, Dean's your man.

We hired the DJ and Uplights though X-Pert Productions and it was a huge success. Jeremy was great. He did everything we asked on the planner and played all of the music we wanted. I have to say I was really impressed with the way the uplights turned out. It made a HUGE impression when my guests arrived. The night was perfect and I have to thank you guys for making it happen.

People danced the night away and many came to tell us how great the DJ was... Demi also did a really good job with the timing, getting everyone involved, and keeping a good tempo throughout the night. His creativity and his knowledge of us as a couple allowed him to create a truly customized experience for us and out guests.

Getting to the specifics we would say that most importantly expert dj really took the time to get to know us and understand what we wanted our wedding to be like. They definitively came through on the Wedding night. They asked all the right questions, were really flexible with all of our requests and did a wonderful job choosing the music.

For us choosing a DJ was among the most important decisions, as we wanted to have a fun wedding were everyone danced a lot! Matt and his whole team were always a pleasure to work with and made us feel at ease. We even used them for lighting. Our names on the floor were a great touch.

It's tough to really know in the planning process how good the DJ will be and if the music will be what you envisioned, X-Pert DJ was able to exceed our expectations and help set the tone for a perfect night!

We celebrated our wedding at on January 26, 2012. Working with the guys at X-Pert was one of the best decisions in our wedding planning. They played for our actual wedding and the reception.

James is so easy to work with. He listens to all your requests and gives you advice based on his experience. He has done other family friends weddings and he truly is the greatest! Highly recommended!

We thought you were great and if we ever have another wedding or special get together we will come to you first. Thanks a lot for the great performance. We had no complaints.

This vendor was amazing!!! DJ Ryan rocked the house. She is the sweetest person ever and really cared about what WE wanted. I truly felt like everyone at expert had a passion for making weddings special and not just about the money. Thank you everyone for making my wedding day amazing. God Bless.

All I can say was thank you. I was blown away at how beautiful our room looking with all the uplights. Everything was perfect.

They were very easy to work with. They made the planning process with their online tools so easy. You could create a very detailed schedule of events, and I handpicked every single song played at my wedding with their music selection tool. I was able to leave detailed comments about what it is I wanted. Planning was a breeze. The wedding went off without a hitch and the schedule of events was followed to a T. The DJ was a great announcer and worked with the crowd.

They made everything smooth and easy. The Dj even showed up in a tux!! He played everything we requested and kept everyone happy the whole time. I could not have asked for more.

uplighting was beautiful, but dj was not great. My photographer took longer than planned and the dj didn't play any music that was requested by guests until after we got up there so guests were stuck listening to soft jazz music for an 1.5 hours. After we came into the reception everything began to normalize.

Matt and James met with us at least three times (twice at the venue) to make sure everything was perfect. I slacked a bit and didn't use their online system but with a few quick phone calls, they had all my information and song requests. Our guests were given the opportunity to request a song when they RSVP'ed and X-Pert played quite a bit of them! They were awesome to work with and I will recommend them to anyone I know planning a wedding or event. Thanks guys!

The DJ did a good job during the reception. They tried very hard to accomodate all of my "don't plays." The service was very affordable and quality.

They have a website that makes chosing your wedding music and planning the reception events so easy. They had all of their own equipment and arrived in plenty of time prior to the reception to get everything set up. Our DJ did a good job of making sure the people needed for each event (garter toss, toasts, etc) were ready to go.

The DJ was TERRIBLE!!! I met with the "manager" a week before the wedding to go over everything and thought it would all go smoothly! He called a few days later to go over everything AGAIN as if we never spoke. The DJ that showed up to our wedding did not have our playlist or timeline (our photographer printed out the copy I emailed him) and no one could hear him speak at all ... All of our guests completely missed our entrance. TERRIBLE!!!! Attention all Baton Rouge & New Orleans brides - Find another DJ!!

They came highly recommended and I can see why. They listened to what I wanted and gave me exactly that.

They were recommended by Nottoway Plantation, so I assumed they would be amazing. At first, they were. They responded right away, offered help, had a website where you customized you ceremony, reception, songs, etc. Meaning they would follow what you had requested, including announcements that you wanted made. However, closer to the wedding, the communication was very lacking. I called them several times to no avail. My husband ended up having to call them to finally get a return call from someone who sounded like they had just woke up. There was a mix up in the song that I wanted played for the father/daughter dance, and they played the wrong song, which was heart breaking since my dad presented me with the framed lyrics of the song we were suppose to dance to... There ceremony sound was great, however he dj who worked our event, never introduced himself, so I have no idea who he was. No only did he play the wrong song for the father/daughter dance, but he he was suppose to play a bridal party dance song for us and our bridal party do dance to. He played it as the song that my husband and I left (leaving the reception) to. Also there were several songs that were on our requested list that he didn't play. Also there was a song that we wanted played for a family, and instead of communicating with us to when the song should be played, he played it when he wanted to..which happened to be about 3 minutes after that family left. The guest seemed to have a great time though, and of course they had no idea things had been messed up, but we knew, and I was not happy..

I hate going to weddings only to listen to a bunch of rap and hip hop music. Xpert djs online forms let me pick the music I wanted and didn't want to hear at my wedding. The dj was a little quiet at first considering how rowdy my reception was but he warmed up after awhile. Everyone had a great time dancing and I didn't have to listen to any rap!

They played all our requested songs during the cocktail hour which a little annoying. No one wants "Shout" played while they are eating! They kept the party going but could have been better.
