Lenny had the right volumes for an outdoor wedding for the microphone and he cued in the music absolutely perfect ( instrumental portion of Coldplay - paradise). It couldn't have been more perfect. He had every type of music possible and played all that we asked ( oldies to frank to EDM). The prices were perfectly within our budget. And the end of the night ended perfect. Hassle free and fun!! He reviewed our expectations ahead of time, helped us put together a timeline for the day and guided us through it as the day progressed. My guests joked that it was like musical chairs. You danced all night but when the music stopped, Billy had something to tell you and then back to dancing. Thanks for all the memories!

He truly finds what the audience likes and makes sure that the dance floor is never empty! Billy was also wonderful when I asked him to play multiple Greek songs at our reception. He received the songs the day of the wedding and still managed to play them and at ideal times. Not only did Billy provide great DJ service but he also provided multiple uplights and a heart light that was centered on the dance floor. Everything came together so nicely in our venue and Billy certainly had a role in that. I highly recommend using Xplosive Sounds, especially Billy as the DJ!!

ed like the perfect DJs--not too talky, but said the right things at the right times in the right way, and their dance music was killer. It stood out to me because song after song, people continuously gasped at how great the next track was and no one could sit down. It was definitely a wedding I wished I was dancing at. So when I got engaged, I looked for their info and booked them for my wedding. All I can say is my husband and I are picky about music--we know what we love. Mike ended up DJing our wedding and he didn't disappoint. Bill coordinated everything with us. We only talked to Mike once the week before the wedding, and he was clear on the details. We had an outdoor ceremony with a DJ setup outside and requested songs for each part. We had an indoor reception with another setup inside. I knew these guys were good, so I just told them to use their best judgement when it came to songs we requested and whether or not to play them. Mike played all of our requests and they all melded together perfectly. He played some awesome tracks too that I wasn't expecting but that I love so much and haven't heard in a long time. Our venue was classic and beautiful with its own lighting, so I didn't take advantage of their lights, which I know they do well also. But I was so happy they didn't force or try to talk me into to using lighting too. It's good customer service to listen to your patrons needs and wants and they did that wonderfully. I highly recommend them and will pass their info along!

in mind I am 100% polish and they did a great job mixing ALL different types of songs. Billy and I also met a few times before the wedding to discuss so many details. He accommodated everyone! You would be crazy not to pick them. Also, their packages are so reasonable!!!!
