My husband and I asked Jess to choreograph our first dance, and we are SO GLAD that we did. Jess helped us to create the most perfect first dance - I literally watch the video of it constantly to re-live it! During our dance lessons, Jess showed us different moves that we could do as a part of our first dance. She helped us to perfect the moves and then helped us to piece them together to create the most beautiful and memorable first dance. We are so thankful for everything Jess helped us with!

My husband and I had the absolute pleasure of working with Jessica of Xtreme Rhythm Dance Academy to choreograph our first dance for our wedding, and we couldn’t be more grateful for her guidance and expertise! From the very start, she made us feel completely comfortable - even while making (many) mistakes! Jessica met with us numerous times, taking the time to ensure we felt confident every step of the way. She is incredibly sweet, patient, talented, and knowledgeable, breaking down each move in a way that was easy to understand and execute. Her encouragement and positive energy made the entire process so much fun, and by the end, we not only had a beautiful dance but also wonderful memories of learning together. In between practicing our first dance - my father and I went in for a few dance classes, for our father/daughter dance. Jessica helped us to create a simplistic dance, which was exactly what we wanted. She provided us with positive reinforcement and encouragement throughout both of our lessons. My dad absolutely loved her. We took 2 lessons with Jessica. She gave us exactly what we asked for, showed us a few moves that were simple and our style. We then were able to take those moves and create our own first dance at home (although she would have created one for us if we wanted). It was something fun for us to do together. If you want to learn a few steps so that you can do something other than sway side to side, I for sure recommend her!

Jessica was DREAM to work !! My husband and I aren't dancers by ANY means 🤣 so we really wanted to wow our guests instead of just swaying lol . Jessica was so fun to work with and made the whole process easy . She helped craft the most beautiful first dance for us, asking for our input every step of the way! We did 5 lessons with Jessica and added on an extra two , it definitely wasn't necessary but we wanted to feel good about it ! I'm pleased to say we absolutely nailed our first dance and all thanks to Jessica ! ❤️

She listed to what we wanted and was so patient with us, she reworked the dance for us too after my final fitting when I realized my dress was too heavy for a couple of the moves. We went to Jess over the summer and decided to sign up for 5 45min session dance lessons in prep for our December wedding. Our main goal was to just learn how to “socially” dance and help my now-husband how to learn how to complete a full circle dancing & we left with so much more. Jess made it so easy & comfortable to learn & we also had so much fun, it was A great little time out and away from the stressors of wedding planning. Jess is the perfect person to help with your first dance as husband and wife. She got to know me and my husband and choreographed a dance that fit us perfectly! It was fun, romantic & included some drama. We looked forward to every practice and treated it as a date night out. The lessons go fast, but they are full of information and tricks to help with memorizing your dance. Jess had us WORKING and we enjoyed it so much! My husband was nervous he wouldn't be able to learn any of the moves, but he learned and memorized them faster than me. We would recommend her to anyone looking to do a creative first dance for their wedding day.

Working with Jess was an absolute dream, she made me and my husband feel super comfortable and her way of teaching is so wonderful she never made us feel bad for messing up and taught us with the most fun dance ever. We did a dance with our Light sabers and Wands, and she created a unique fun routine. Jess has a way of teaching that gave us confidence and pride in what we were doing and made it fun. Jessica not only worked with us and our busy schedules but she never gave up on us when we were giving up on ourselves. We were looking for someone to do lessons with for our first dance as we are both uncoordinated and didn’t want to look like we were dancing at the prom. We were lucky enough to find Jessica at Xtreme Rhythm Dance. Thinking we could use as much practice as we could get, we opted for a 5 class package. Jessica was great to work with and an amazing, patient teacher. After giving her our chosen song she was very flexible in working with us to build a routine that wasn’t overly choreographed as we requested. Jessica was great to work with. My husband and I have never taken dance classes and did not know what to expect. We signed up to take lessons for our first dance at our wedding. Once we met Jessica, she helped us narrow down a song choice based on our personalities and the vibe of our wedding. We then got started right away! She was great at not just showing us the moves and having us practice, but she also wrote down the steps so we could go home and remember everything accordingly. We were also coming from Queens which could be a bit of a hike, but because of Jessica's late evening hours and flexibility, we were able to book a session weekly with no hassle. Dancing and being watched dancing can be a bit intimidating, but Jessica's demeanor made it a breeze to practice in front of. My husband and I always looked forward to our sessions! The day of, we listened to her tips and touched base about things with our DJ as she suggested. We had such good feedback from our guests that some people thought we didn't even take lessons, because of how natural everything looked. It was a great experience overall!

We loved how our First Dance came out! We told her what we wanted, which was to learn a few spins and dips so it didn’t seem like a “choreographed” dance, and thats exactly what she taught us. She scheduled our lessons around our very busy schedules and made each move easy to learn and combine. Jessica is literally the best and she loves what she does! My husband and I cannot dance well. We took a 5 lesson package and she turned us into professional dancers..at least for our wedding song! Friends and family came up to us saying they felt like they were watching Dancing With The Stars! I’m obsessed with our first dance, she did an amazing job piecing it together for us! Jessica gave us the pro tip to designate a guest to film it so you have it to watch immediately after the wedding day. Jessica is amazing! Three weeks before our wedding we started to freak out…my husband and I are not dancers. Jessica fit us in for a 2 hour session and in that time made us feel so comfortable on the dance floor. She provided us all the moves for our first dance and sent us home with a recording. Jess was a godsend as my fiancé and I prepared for our 12/9 wedding. Any time we were at an event and had to slow dance, we felt we were stumbling over each other or just kind of swayed back and forth which wasn't our vision for our first wedding dance. Jess was patient, kind, understanding and really listened to what we wanted our first dance to be about. If you're even thinking about doing a dance lesson here, DO IT! Jessica was phenomenal and without her help I think I would have been so disappointed with our first dance. She helped give us some options, things to try at home, and how to stay in the moment. Ultimately our DJ messed up our song and what we were planning to do, but the lesson we took helped us at least look put together and nail our dip for photos and the guests went wild!

We only had time for one session around one month before our wedding, and she gave us a ton of moves that we could work into our first dance as much or we little as we wanted. We didn’t want a super choreographed dance, so this was perfect for us. She was a great teacher and made us feel comfortable even though neither of us was very confident in our dancing ability.
