We went to Jess over the summer and decided to sign up for 5 45min session dance lessons in prep for our December wedding. Jess is the perfect person to help with your first dance as husband and wife. She got to know me and my husband and choreographed a dance that fit us perfectly! It was fun, romantic & included some drama. We looked forward to every practice and treated it as a date night out. The lessons go fast, but they are full of information and tricks to help with memorizing your dance. Jess had us WORKING and we enjoyed it so much! My husband was nervous he wouldn't be able to learn any of the moves, but he learned and memorized them faster than me. We would recommend her to anyone looking to do a creative first dance for their wedding day.

Working with Jess was an absolute dream, she made me and my husband feel super comfortable and her way of teaching is so wonderful she never made us feel bad for messing up and taught us with the most fun dance ever. We were looking for someone to do lessons with for our first dance as we are both uncoordinated and didn’t want to look like we were dancing at the prom. We were lucky enough to find Jessica at Xtreme Rhythm Dance. Thinking we could use as much practice as we could get, we opted for a 5 class package. Jessica was great to work with and an amazing, patient teacher. After giving her our chosen song she was very flexible in working with us to build a routine that wasn’t overly choreographed as we requested. Jessica was great to work with. My husband and I have never taken dance classes and did not know what to expect. We signed up to take lessons for our first dance at our wedding. Once we met Jessica, she helped us narrow down a song choice based on our personalities and the vibe of our wedding. We then got started right away! She was great at not just showing us the moves and having us practice, but she also wrote down the steps so we could go home and remember everything accordingly. We were also coming from Queens which could be a bit of a hike, but because of Jessica's late evening hours and flexibility, we were able to book a session weekly with no hassle. Dancing and being watched dancing can be a bit intimidating, but Jessica's demeanor made it a breeze to practice in front of. My husband and I always looked forward to our sessions! The day of, we listened to her tips and touched base about things with our DJ as she suggested. We had such good feedback from our guests that some people thought we didn't even take lessons, because of how natural everything looked. It was a great experience overall!

We loved how our First Dance came out! We told her what we wanted, which was to learn a few spins and dips so it didn’t seem like a “choreographed” dance, and thats exactly what she taught us. She’s very laid back and listens to what you want. Shes young and fresh, and gives you modern simple moves to show off! Highly recommend!

Jessica was amazing. She was able to fit us in with only two months until the wedding! Neither my husband or myself are dancers, so she broke things down simply for us. Jessica is fabulous. My husband and I decided to start off with some dance lessons about two months before our May wedding. Jess was amazing to work with for our March 10th wedding! Out of all the incredible vendors we worked with, Jess was our favorite. Jessica is amazing! Three weeks before our wedding we started to freak out…my husband and I are not dancers. Jessica fit us in for a 2 hour session and in that time made us feel so comfortable on the dance floor. She provided us all the moves for our first dance and sent us home with a recording. If you're even thinking about doing a dance lesson here, DO IT! Jessica was phenomenal and without her help I think I would have been so disappointed with our first dance. She helped give us some options, things to try at home, and how to stay in the moment. Ultimately our DJ messed up our song and what we were planning to do, but the lesson we took helped us at least look put together and nail our dip for photos and the guests went wild!

We were lucky Jess could fit us into her schedule (she's in high demand for a reason!) to choreograph our crowd-pleasing dance. I wanted to do a fun choreographed dance with my mom for my wedding and Jess did an amazing job putting it together! My mom and I had so much fun working on this dance together and were very ambitious to have a showstopping performance. Jess was absolutely amazing!!! We only had time for one session around one month before our wedding, and she gave us a ton of moves that we could work into our first dance as much or we little as we wanted. We didn’t want a super choreographed dance, so this was perfect for us. She was a great teacher and made us feel comfortable even though neither of us was very confident in our dancing ability. We took five 45 minute lessons with Jessica leading up to our wedding. She was able to come up sequences of moves that flowed perfectly with our song and then wrote down what we needed to practice at home so we would be prepared for our next lesson. The day of our wedding, we had no nerves at all and our dance was better than it ever was previously during practices. We got so many compliments and my three year old cousin said, “Disney World?” as he watched our dance because it was truly magical. We cannot wait to get our professional photography and video to share with Jessica and the community.

Jess is a truly an incredible, kind and patient person who really makes you feel comfortable from the moment you enter her studio! My husband and I were so nervous for our first dance and to even go to dance lessons but we quickly felt at ease and comfortable with Jess. I wanted to add some flashy dance moves to our first dance and teach my husband how to dance and Jess did just that! We started our first session learning how to move together and some simple moves and from there we kept building our move knowledge and putting our favorite ones together with our song. Our last session we ran it several times and cleaned it up. Our only regret was someone not videoing our dance at our wedding, make sure you tell 4 people just to be safe! If it is in your budget, I HIGHLY recommend taking dance lessons with Jess prior to your wedding!! My husband and I attended a total of four sessions (1 hour each) with Jess. During the first two sessions, Jess taught us a number of moves. Then, based on our preferences and ability levels, she choreographed a custom dance. We learned our dance during the third session, and "rehearsed" during the fourth session. As we kept it simple, and Jess is a great instructor, we felt this was the perfect amount of time to master our first dance. In addition to feeling confident dancing in front of family and friends, we truly looked forward to going to our four sessions as it was a fun date night leading up to our wedding day!!

The song I chose was super long and not on typical counts of 8, which was more challenging for me, but Jess made me feel confident and comfortable. We had Jessica give my husband and I lessons towards our first dance. My husband has two left feet and can’t keep rhythm. Jessica was more than patient and caring while teaching us our first dance. My husband and I wanted to take lessons so our first dance would be special and something nice for everyone to watch. We didn’t want anything crazy but something easy and fun. Jess was amazing and did just that for us. She was so much fun to work with my husband didn’t complain once and we actually enjoyed going to each class. Jess was amazing helping us with our first dance! She helped us finalize our song and made it easy for us to learn and remember, and gave us tips on good picture opportunities. The dance the night of the wedding couldn’t have gone any better! We were so happy, thank you Jess!!

Jessica coordinated a whole dance routine for us and was never short of amazing. She worked with us at our pace teaching us the routine and even gave us tips for our nerves day of. She genuinely cared as much as I did that the day of the dance would be perfect. We started with her as soon as we got engaged, almost 2 years and kept up as much as we could but with covid obviously lost some practice time. As our day was getting closer and I was not confident in the routine, Jess worked with us and even came in on her birthday to give us a lesson. She was the voice of reason and listened to me and my worries and talked to me at all of our lessons both about the dance and the whole wedding in general. Recently engaged herself she totally gets what being a bride is like. She’s an amazing person and teacher and my husband and I are truly going to miss our lessons with her! Oh and our dance?! We nailed it! Our guests where so impressed and it was so magical and amazing, we could’ve never done it without Jessica at Extreme Rhythm. If you’re looking for a whole choreographed routine like us or just some tips and tricks for your big day, she is your girl!

My dad wanted to get lessons for our dance at my wedding. Since I was little it was always decided that sweet child of mine would be our song. Jessica listened to my dads vision and ran with it. She also cut the song down for us so it wasn’t so long, but still had our favorite parts. She was patient and taught us well- I can’t really say we are natural dancers (haha). Everyone loved it and thought it was super unique and fun! Highly recommend!

Jessica choreographed and taught a fun surprise father-daughter dance for me and my dad for my wedding. She was so patient with us (my dad has two left feet!) and picked out just the right songs to be sure to get everyone in a feel-good mood. Being that our wedding was postponed to next year, Jessica was more than accommodating to make things work! We set up zoom lessons and were able to continue with our lessons as planned. She listened to every detail that we wanted and was very informative and supportive over our zoom lessons. We were able to make it work and we will be back next year to refresh before our big day! 100% recommend her services, totally worth it!

Jessica was amazing and accommodating, even in these extraordinary circumstances. She agreed to teach my fiancé and I over zoom and didn’t miss a beat (pun intended!). She was patient, fun, and we all shared a bunch of laughs too. I have a dance background but my fiancé doesn’t and she was SO patient with him - and me when I didn’t understand something. Regardless of these weird times where we couldn’t take lessons in person, Jessica made the experience just as fun as if we were all in the same room and I thoroughly enjoyed myself, as did my fiancé. I would HIGHLY recommend Jessica and will even look into taking her regular classes now!

It is clear that my now husband is a better dancer than I am, so I had a crazy idea of taking a few dance lessons to choreograph our first dance. Once my husband agreed, I was on the hunt for the perfect teacher. Jessica was exactly what we needed. She was SO easy to work with. We were very easily able to coordinate a date for a private lesson and within 10 minutes of her listening to our song and learning about who Ryan and I were, she was choreographing our first dance. We ended up meeting with Jessica four times and she was great in making sure we were both in our comfort zone and that my dress would not hinder any of our moves. We laughed during each session and our first dance was a huge hit at our wedding! Thank you!

My husband and I went to Jessica for help with our first dance at our wedding. It was the best thing we did. We were both so nervous about being the center of attention for even 3 minutes. We were given one lesson as a gift from my mother. I’m just that one lesson we left feeling so confident about our dance. We ended up purchasing a second class (probably would have purchased more if our wedding hadn’t been just three weeks away). Not only did everyone love our dance, but we are more confident dancers in general and anywhere that there is music, we now dance. This never (and I mean never) happened before. Jessica was a great dance instructor. She helped us put together a dance routine for our wedding. We loved her patience since we were new to dancing together. She had a lot of creativity to make the choreography. Her flexibility with time and openness to changes was great such that we could have appointments that fit our schedule. We would highly recommend her; regardless of dance experience you may have, she takes her time and works with you to make you feel comfortable to dance.
