Make your event unforgettable...at Yacht Basin Conference Center, the perfect location for a wedding ceremony, wedding reception, anniversary party, corporate event, holiday party, graduation open house, class reunion...whatever the occasion. Choose the North American room to seat up to 100 people, the South American room to seat up to 200 people, or reserve both rooms should you need seating up to 300 people. This venue is great for a wedding reception. It's a fairly new building and the space is beautiful. You're renting the space only here, so you will need to arrange a caterer, bever...
age provider, linens, and china. Gwenn, our contact, was very helpful and friendly and has a list of vendors that they have worked with. Gives you the opportunity to be very creative - you can really transform this space into something great!
One downside is that the space is offered in two rooms that are connected together with 3-4 sets of French doors. Small room accommodates 100 while large room accommodates 200. Dance floor is in the small room (you can rent a dance floor if you only need the big room). We had 220 guests so we could fit most guests in the large room, but there were a couple of tables that were awkwardly placed in terms of viewing the head table and then later moving them off the dance floor.
This space is also best for buffet-style dinners, as there is no full kitchen (not ideal for plated meals).
Everything turned out great though!
We used this venue for our Reception and it is a gorgeous facility and it has everything you need to host the perfect event! Its newer and there is plenty of space!
