I can't say enough good things about Spencer and his work! To start, he was incredibly flexible with his availability and always on time, even in the chaos that was our wedding planning. His rates are affordable and fair - it didn't cost us an arm and a leg to have our most important day documented. And we LOVE the video he created for us. He captured the feeling and mood of each part of our day, including the specialness of our ceremony, the love during our family and friends' toasts, and the party vibe of our reception! I am so grateful he shared his talents with us and recommend him to everyone I know.

My husband isn’t comfortable in front of the camera, but being with Spencer (and Tasha) made our first look and wedding day so much easier!! Spencer helped bring our vision to life and had our wedding day footage to us before we even got back from our honeymoon. It’s been so wonderful to have that video to watch over and over again. I cannot recommend Spencer enough. The quality of the videos we’ve received has proved over and over again that he is the best in the biz!!!

We had two photographers, but Spencer identified specific unique poses and photograph angles that our other photographer didn't, and those photos are our favorite. We live in a TINY studio apartment, so we only have one wedding photo on the wall, and it is one of Spencer's. He truly captured our happiness and the thrill of our wedding day.

Spencer did our wedding video, and it was everything we could ask for and more at the absolute best price. He was incredibly professional, had tons of experience, and made a video we will treasure forever.

Spencer Yamada is a dear friend from college and a talented video artist, so when my husband and I needed a wedding videographer, I suggested to him that we ask Spencer. I had full confidence from the beginning that Spencer would do a fantastic job, but I could not have anticipated how special, stress-free, and fun it would be to work with him! He was all in from day one, just as excited about the video as my husband and I were. He and my photographer worked incredibly well together, both on the day of our formal portraits and ”first look” and on the day of the wedding. There is no doubt he is skilled; he has lots of experience and he has an eye for fun, interesting, and beautiful shots. But what I loved most about working with Spencer was how much he cared about making the video what my husband and I wanted. He reached out to ask about details, and if there was anything specific we wanted him to capture. He offered suggestions for songs, and also listened to a handful of my own. Even after the videos were finished (less than THREE weeks after the wedding!), he expressed his willingness to make any changes we wanted. The result was two gorgeous videos, one of the first look and one of the wedding day, that I could not be more happy with. I had a phenomenal experience working with Spencer, and I would recommend him to anyone looking for a wedding videographer.

Yamshots Media was a joy to work with on our special day. While we were busy celebrating and enjoying the festivities I could see Spencer buzzing around taking a lot of great footage and I was able to rest assured that every moment was being captured. The final product took my breath away. We will cherish our wedding video forever and I’m so thankful we get to look back on those memories so vividly.
