We got engaged in October of 2022 and we hired Yan Schwartzman as our photographer. He took our engagement photos at the NJ Botanical Gardens in May of 2023 and our wedding photos at David's Country Inn in November of 2023. The photos Yan took were absolutely beautiful! He is a true artist in every sense of the word and his use of lighting is incredible. Yan was very easy to work with, made us laugh, and kept us relaxed during the most stressful moments. He made the process so easy from the moment we hired him - he is a true professional. Even when we finalized our wedding album he was very patient and welcomed our feedback. He's also very responsive to phone calls, texts and emails, and he communicates very well. We are so glad that we hired Yan and highly recommend him to everyone!

Yan was super communicative prior to the wedding, answering any questions we had, and helping us plan out the best timeline for the day. He was very efficient, showed up ahead of time, and even finished the first look and family/bridal photos way ahead of time. He was wonderful to work with the day-of, giving us tips on how to pose and a constant reminder for me to keep my chin up. His videographer was able to follow us around, was super friendly, and was able to capture the best moments. Everyone had high regards for Yan and his videographer and LOVED the photos and videos!! The photos were done within TWO days of the wedding- insanely fast and impressive, and SO many photos!!! One of my bridesmaids even booked him for her future wedding next year! Yan is super efficient and does a great job capturing the best moments. We did ask for a few updates to the photos and videos (with the correct wedding date, and to lower the music so we could hear our voices/vows), and while we felt like his responses were a little curt, everything was so beautiful and those were minute details to the wonderful work he and his videographer did! We hope one day to be featured on his social media with his other brilliant work!

He was funny, personable and flexible. He truly knows what he is doing, getting perfect shots and beautiful veil photos. He is incredibly talented!! I wish I could get married all over again just to have an excuse to work with Yan again! We also worked with his videographer who got some amazing shots of us. Yan was wonderful to work with! He was responsive, flexible and willing to adjust timelines as needed. Our wedding day couldn't have gone smoother. Yan did an excellent job making sure we got all of the important shots and we didn't even provide a shot list. He even shared a few sneak peaks before I walked down the aisle. All of the pictures were breathtaking and we had our full gallery less than 72 hours after our reception ended.

Yan is the best! We found him through a friend of a friend and I'm so grateful we did. He was so easy to work, both with our engagement pictures and day of, and his turnaround time is incredible! We had our wedding pictures back in less than a week and we are obsessed with them. His pricing is incredibly reasonable and we really appreciated that he doesn't give the hard-sell other photographers gave us. Yan was amazing to work with! He was super responsive during the whole process. When it came to the day off, he made us feel comfortable and most importantly CONFIDENT in our photos! Book Yan immediately! We hired Yan for our 11/26/22 wedding and could not be happier with our photos. We met Yan a year prior to the wedding for our engagement photos. We knew we made the right decision after seeing the beautiful engagement photos he took. We took our photos on Sunday 10/31 and literally had all of the photos the following day, 11/1! Yan was so easy to work with and was very responsive. The day of our wedding was an absolute dream! Yan, Tim (videographer) and Luke (photo assistant) arrived on time and made everyone feel so comfortable in front of the camera. I had a hard time seeing some of Yan's visions but WOW does he have an eye for a great photo. I couldn't believe all of the beautiful shots that Yan captured. Again, our photos were ready for review in record time! We were married on 11/26 and had our whole gallery back by the following Friday. We really loved working with Yan and can't thank him enough! Yan was just simply AMAZING!! The wedding day can be stressful and chaotic; however, with Yan, getting the all the moments of the special day captured will be one thing you don't have to worry about. Yan was always responsive to any questions we had during the planning process. He let us know the timeline and other things to note beforehand. I couldn’t have asked for a better photographer on my wedding day. My photos came out so beautiful. Yan was wonderful to work with for both our engagement photos and our wedding day. He also got us all our photos back so quickly! His prices are very reasonable as well. My only regret is I hired him for 8 hours instead of 10!

Yan was INCREDIBLE! Where do I begin?? Leading up to our actual wedding, he was very responsive and took the time to answer all of our questions- even going as far as offering a phone call to go over things in detail. On the actual day, he and his assistant (Tim, who was also wonderful!) showed up on time and were extremely professional throughout the entire process. And I mean PROFESSIONAL! You can tell that photography is Yan's passion. He came equipped with everything he needed to get the perfect shot, including a lighting stick which was totally unexpected but made some of the shots really beautiful and unique. What I really loved is that he gave all of his subjects direction on how to pose, which made the final product look AMAZING! I really wanted a company that offered both photography and videography and am very happy that I found Yan Schwartzman! From the initial inquiry, he set up a zoom call which I thought helped us get to know each other more than just through email or a phone call. You definitely want to be comfortable with your photographer because you are with them all day on the biggest day of your life! I liked Yan right away -- he is professional, very artistic, has a sense of humor and offers many extras that added value to his already more affordable pricing. He offered a complimentary engagement shoot which was awesome! It's a great chance to really get to know him and his style and it was great practice for us as a couple who had never had professional photos done before. He also includes a beautiful leather bound wedding album and lets you see it online and make any changes prior to printing. It comes in a fabulous keepsake box and is truly STUNNING. In addition, you get to choose an acrylic print -- it's huge and again, just STUNNING! Different from a canvas print that you can make and order yourself. We recently had a party at our house and so many people complimented the acrylic print! As for the photos on your wedding day, Yan takes a variety of shots and has a creative eye with lighting. He gives you access to all of your photos in an online album -- we have 800+! His assistant Maria is fabulous and such a calming presence throughout your big day! We also LOVED our videographer Tim! He and Yan work very well together. He gives you a 3-5+ minute highlight video and a full length video of the day (ours was 2+ hours and includes the full ceremony, speeches, dances etc!). Honestly, our video is something I truly cared about and looked through many videographers and Tim's work goes above and beyond. I am writing a novel here but honestly, I am just so happy we chose Yan! I also liked that it's just him and Tim because they truly care about you throughout the process. We received all of our wedding photos within 1 week! (How crazy is that!?) We received the videos within 10 days! I know friends that have waited way more than 6 months to get their pictures and videos back.

Our experience with Yan and his assistant Maria was truly amazing. Yan was so patient throughout the chaos of our day, and managed to take the most beautiful photos through it all. What isn’t there to say about Yan? If you want your wedding day to be remembered the right way, you hire Yan. When we first inquired Yan it was during Covid - the process of trying to even find a photographer during these strange times just gave so much anxiety and Yan just eased all of that. Yan was the first photographer we met with for our wedding and his charm, passion, positivity, reassurance and smile went a long way. We scheduled other photographer appointments that same day but they did not compare Yans vibrant and fun personality. we called Yan after all of our meetings that same night and signed our contract with him. With the package he provided us we got a photographer (obviously him), an assistant and a videographer that he works with for ten hours, an album, all the photos, an acrylic print, a highlight video and a full video. (his prices are amazing!) (AND LADIES IF YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER IS TALENTED AND CLEARLY KNOWS WHAT THEYRE DOING ONE PHOTOGRAPHER IS OK!) We got to experience Yans work for ourselves when we did an engagement shoot with him and his work speaks for itself. When we received our photos back I was just extremely excited for our wedding day. We had several get togethers and phone calls where we developed time lines - first looks, bridal party etc which all was really helpful. I would send his inspiration photos of previous brides there as he sent me some and just saved them away so we can recreate a version of our own. I was really happy that hes been to our venue before and just knew the ins and outs of spots. Its so funny because this day is overwhelming as it is and he just kept reassuring us were fine and to have fun with it. After all this is the most important part of your wedding day because you get to look back on this forever. His photos and the videographers videos captured our day to the fullest and I could not have been happier. The turn around time for the photos and videos was WITHIN a week of our wedding and everyone who saw these photos ALL said that they belong in a magazine! Looks like we found our family photographer for life!!!

We booked Yan for our February wedding and let me just say his pictures speak for themselves! His work is beyond amazing!! He is very detail oriented and makes sure to get you in the proper position in order to get the perfect photo. Not only are his pictures great, but he also has great customer service! You can tell Yan truly cares about his couples. He always answers emails/texts quickly, and we got our pictures back sooo fast!! He even texted me the week of my wedding to tell me the weather was looking great which I thought was super sweet! Don’t hesitate to book Yan! Let me start by saying that Photo/Video was probably the most important vendor for me, so hiring the right team was absolutely necessary. I've been working with Yan for about 2 years now and he never ceases to amaze me with his brilliant photography. Yan is INSANELY talented. Like, the real deal. He did our engagement shoot in December 2019 and the pictures were unreal - it was that moment we knew we made the right choice. Not only were the pictures crazy beautiful, but he sent a few of them that night, and we had the whole album less than a week later. So many people raved about these pictures, asked for Yan's information, and a few hired him for their wedding. Our wedding was Nov 2021 and once again, Yan pulled through. It put me at ease on wedding day knowing that I trusted Yan 100% to take absolutely breathtaking pictures - he knows how to set you up, makes you comfortable in front of the camera, and is so efficient in doing so (knowing that no one wants to be taking pictures longer than they have to!). Throughout wedding day, Yan would show me the pictures in real time on his camera - this was amazing, even my bridesmaids were commenting how fantastic that was. Of course, I was blown away by every picture I saw. The next day Yan texted us some teasers, and before we even left for our honeymoon a week later, we had the whole digital album. I can't recommend Yan and his team enough - I've been doing so for the past 2 years and will continue to do so forever.

Yan is the BEST of the best !!! He shot our engagement shoot and 2 of our weddings, which were spread apart by a year due to COVID. It rained like a hurricane during our engagement shoot and first wedding and looking at the pictures, you wouldn't even be able to tell. We were very fortunate to have Yan as our wedding photographer! From the moment we met him he made us feel very comfortable. He was friendly, professional, and had our best interests at heart. Planning a wedding can be an extremely stressful and daunting process! This makes finding the right vendors, that you mesh well with, so important! Yan was the very first vendor that we met with and from the moment we stepped in the door we instantly felt welcome and knew that we made the right decision. He had come highly recommended from one of our friends. My husband and I are both very camera shy and just naturally not used to being the center of attention but Yan made us feel SO comfortable! He posed us in very natural positions and made us laugh. He has such a wonderful personality and is truly a master of his craft! You can tell he truly loves what he does - he gets very excited when he gets a good shot and his passion for photography shows in his work! Choose Yan! He did such a wonderful job at our wedding. He captured each of my favorite moments perfectly. And the photos are beautiful. He was timely and easy to contact. No delay at all. Best yet, he had our photos for available after a week from our wedding! That was unheard of to me.Usually you don’t receive your wedding photographs for months. But after 1 week we had our pictures. We received a link where we can view and share all our pictures. Within 1 month he finished our album, and sent us a digital copy to make sure that we agreed with the chosen photos and design. now we are just waiting for our printed album. From the previous albums he showed us, at our first meeting, I cannot wait! He uses light beautifully and just captured GORGEOUS PHOTOS.

Yan was so detailed and professional to work with for our engagement and wedding photos. We have such beautiful photos of our wedding day that we will cherish for years to come. Yan took formal photos of us and family members but also took the time to take more candid and cool pictures of us that are so special to have.

We found Yan online in 2019, met with him and really loved his personality and his approach to his work. He did our engagement photos, which came out beautiful. He was extremely flexible when we needed to reschedule the wedding from June 2020 to November 2020 due to COVID. He was professional, wore a mask the entire time, gave us a sneak peak while taking pictures, threw his artistic touch on the pictures and was an overall great photographer and person to work with. We also hired a second photographer through Yan for part of our day and he was also super professional and took awesome shots, it was nice to have 2 different creative perspectives for the day. Both were very easy for our wedding party and family to get along with. Highly recommend him for anyone, the photos came out fantastic and he does not break your bank.

I can not say enough good things about Yan. From that first phone call he made me feel so comfortable and answered my 100 questions because I had no experience with wedding planning at all! He went out of his way to meet me and show me some of his work before contracts were signed. I could not imagine my wedding day without him! His was extremely professional the whole way through! He was also very flexible and understanding when we had to change our plans so many times due to COVID! I HATE taking pictures but Yan made me feel so comfortable and made it fun! He captured EVERYTHING! His turn around was SO FAST for the final pictures and he even allowed me to meet with him to help create my album! I am so grateful for Yan and his amazing work!! We worked with Yan for our engagement shoot, small micro wedding this August 2020 and can't wait to work with him again at our big wedding next year. Yan does not disappoint, we love the photos we have.

We can’t say enough good things about Yan. He was wonderful to work with from the moment we had our first engagement shoot all the way through our wedding (part 1). Yan was super flexible, even when we postponed and had to put a backup date on calendar. We are so happy to have had Yan be a part of our most important and special days!

Yan provided the photography and cinematography for my wedding. He was a pleasure to work with. He was always professional and punctual. Most of all, he has a real talent for photography and it was easy to shoot with him since he has so many ideas! He had my photos back to me within a week, which was wonderful. Our wedding photos turned out amazing!!!

The past few months have been difficult due to planning a wedding during COVID. Yan has been so flexible and calming throughout each and every change. When we decided we were going to do a small ceremony this year and our big reception next year, he had no problem accommodating us. While taking pictures, Yan kept it fun and made us laugh the entire time. My husband and I got a few pictures to preview the night of our wedding and got the rest of the pictures two days after. We love each and every single picture and we cannot stop staring at them. Yan exceeded our expectations and we will be recommending him to everyone we know. We cannot wait to work with him again next year!!!

Yan has just been outstanding. At every point he's gone above and beyond what we expected. He really went for the perfect shot in every scenario, even using the reflection off of a glass table to get a really cool effect that I can't imagine anyone else would've thought of. This just speaks to his attention to detail and the dedication he has to his craft. Both my bride and I are are not great at getting our picture taken but from the engagement photo shoot to the wedding Yan made us feel really comfortable and you can really see how important that is. Even when it started to rain he stayed incredibly calm and really helped us weather the storm. He also made sure to capture, not just the big events, but also great small moments that I'm sure we wouldn't remember without a photo to remind us about it. The album that you get is also outstanding. Yan picked out great shot and if you want to change anything makes the process really easy and couldn't be more accommodating. We love showing it off! It goes without saying that he is an absolute professional. He respected our timelines at a very early wedding and was fully prepared from the moment he got to the venue. We did have some issues and Yan was quick to correct them and we were more than pleased with his work. Bottom-line is we'd recommend Yan for any photography needs and we know you'll be happy when you see the final result. Make sure to say hi to his aborable Frenchie Gigi!

We couldn’t be happier with our experience and are so grateful that we had Yan to help capture our special day. Yan was the best photographer a bride could ask for. He was professional and kind and really captured everything we could ask for and more. Many people compliment on the perfect lighting or perfect scenery, which were both INCREDIBLE in all of the shots, but what he did best was capture the JOY and LOVE that was felt in the room from getting ready, to saying I do, to dancing the night away. From the moment we met with Yan to use him as our photographer it has been nothing short of perfect. He was timely in answering any questions and changing anything we needed. We didn't have a grand plan to go by, but Yan knew exactly what to do and it made the day easy and effortless. There was no pressure for time, everything flowed so smooth. My husband and I just got married a couple of weeks ago on November 29th 2019. Yan was the photographer at our wedding and I cannot emphasis enough as to how utterly amazing and professional he was. Weddings are extremely stressful in and of themselves, and on top of that , my husband and I aren't ones who are naturally comfortable being in front of the camera, but Yan is ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL! He is WAY more than a photographer, he is a TRUE ARTIST!!!!! Photography is his PASSION and you can tell that from the moment you meet him. I met Yan at a Bridal expo and knew from the moment that I met him, that we had to have him photograph our wedding day! Yan’s positive attitude and attention to every important detail made it go so easy. Any request or concern that we had, he made sure it was taken care of. He was so patient with our large bridal party. He was kind, and most importantly excellent to work with. Having Yan photograph our wedding day was like having a team of photographers, due to his skill of shooting with multiple cameras by himself. Yan was a pleasure to work with. Throughout the planning process leading up to our wedding he was responsive, informative, and helpful. Then on the day of our wedding he took on a large list of family photos all by himself with great efficiency. His photos are all beautiful works of art. He knows how to use lighting to make color pop and his black and whites are gorgeous as well. He saw the beauty in a lot of places in and around our wedding venue that made for very romantic photos. We got our photo gallery back from him in one week which is super fast! He is currently working on one of his stunning photo album for us which we can’t wait to see.
