Year and a Day went above and beyond. The photos came out better than I ever could have imagined. I can't stop posting on social media!

Amazing, Amazing, Amazing! I think choosing a good photographer for your wedding day is one of the biggest worries, because you count on these photos to reminisce over for years to come. I was beyond thrilled with the work of A Year and a Day Photography! Their photographs are enchanted, stunning, and unique. You WILL NOT regret using them. They were so kind, professional, and understanding of your wants & needs. They were never pushy and most of the time you didn't even notice they were there- yet they still managed to capture the most precious photos that I will cherish forever. We can't thank them enough!

Words cannot describe how much I love Belinda, Lauren, and Kristen!! They were the first vendor I booked. I absolutely love how crisp and real their photos are. They somehow capture the beautiful light and candid moments throughout the day. They made me feel so calm, and they the whole process was so easy. On the day, Belinda and Kristen did a fantastic job capturing all of the small moments as well as the big ones. They kept us on track in a non-overwhelming way! I was not stressed at all on my wedding day with them, and we had a BIG family with lots of photos to go through. I cannot wait to see my entire album from them but I am already in love with our sneak peak!

I can not recommend Belinda and Lauren enough. I knew I did not want a traditional LI wedding photographer and wanted my photos to be unique yet classic - and they delivered that and so so so much more. They were extremely responsive with any of my questions leading up to our wedding day and our engagement shoot (we were planning from out of state and they were always super helpful about those logistics aspect of it). The prices they offer are truly out of this world for the quality you get. We got our engagement pictures less than a week after we took them and a few sneak peaks of them just a day after. We received our wedding sneak peaks (over 50 photos) less than a wee after our wedding and our full wedding album 6 weeks after. They are approachable and professional but also subtle and not intrusive during your special day. It was pouring during our first look shoot and we wanted some rain pictures and they were out there in the cold pouring rain with us and didn’t rush us at all (we actually told them we were done with the rain at one point - they would have kept going!!). I love my pictures more than I can ever explain and can’t recommend them enough!

Hiring Year and a Day was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From the moment we first contacted them we knew they were the right choice. Belinda & Lauren could not be easier to work with & not to mention they’re the sweetest! Leading up to the wedding they were always quick to respond in answering any questions we had. On our wedding day we barely even knew they were there because they were just a comfortable, gentle fit with our group. They were extremely respectful when off capturing the greatest photos while we weren’t the subjects! Our photos are absolutely gorgeous & are the perfect reminder of our best day ever; they are light, soft & natural without the harsh lighting or posing you’ll find with most other Long Island wedding photographers. The eye they have for landscape & lighting is really special. We truly could not be happier. We would recommend Year and a Day 100,000 times over. We love Belinda & Lauren!!!!!!

Belinda and Ken were a dream to work with. We received our sneak peek album, and our full album back so quickly, and we could not be happier with the result. If I could rate them higher, I would. From the very beginning, our experience with Lauren & Belinda was exceptional. Knowing Belinda as a former colleague and seeing the beautiful work Year and a Day does, it was a no-brainer to have them as our photographers. Starting with incredible engagement photos to the most outstanding wedding photos I could imagine and we only have a sneak peak! Lauren and Ali worked our wedding day and the experience was phenomenal. They were super professional and flew under the radar, while at the same time capturing the most amazing reactions. I'm overjoyed by how they captured the essence of our day and how we get to re-live it through these images! Everything about Year and a Day is amazing and I hope to work with them in the future! I don't even know where to start! Lauren and Belinda were beyond amazing! Photography was the only part of our wedding I was very particular with and Year and a Day was more than i could have hoped for! They are so easy to work with and captured the most amazing moments. They were fast to respond to any questions we had and we received our sneak peaks within a few days! They made us feel like they were apart of our wedding and everything went so smooth and natural. I cant even count how many people rave to us about our pictures. Just PERFECT.

You need to hire Year and a Day Photo for your wedding or special occasion!! Belinda and Ken were professional, fun, and accommodating - they are easy to work with, which any bride can appreciate!!! They made sure we got in all the pictures I requested, and made themselves available all night for any last minute photo opps that presented themselves. We just got back our Sneak Peek (a week after the wedding, so fast!!) and they are BEYOND gorgeous - their style blew me away. We can't wait to see the rest of the photos - we love Year and a Day!

Belinda and Lauren are amazing! They were very helpful and responsive in the time leading up to our wedding and answered all my questions and ensured I felt comfortable with the day of plans. The day of my wedding I was so happy to have them there! They were so calm and effecient and knew exactly what they needed/I wanted to get done. Pictures were enjoyable and even my bridal party commented on how they were a great team to have photograph our wedding. Their pictures are beautiful and I will treasure them forever! I'm so glad I hired them to photograph my big day and capture memories I will look back on the rest of my life. I very highly recomend them and encourage you to contact them to see what a great vendor they will be for your wedding day!

annot recommend Year and a Day enough. Many of my coworkers had worked with them for their weddings so there was only one photographer I wanted to speak with when we got engaged. From day 1 they have been easy to get in touch with, very easy to work with and on the Big Day they were phenomenal. They showed up early, got through the shots I wanted and got creative beyond what I could have asked for. They treated everyone kindly and made the long picture process pleasant. At the end of the night, they stayed past their contract time to ensure that we had photos of my husband and I cutting our cake as the venue got backed up and we did not get to the cake at the planned time. They truly went above and beyond for us, never made us feel rushed. Not even a week after the wedding I was sent 50 sneak peaks that are just wonderful!! I am only sad that we opted not to have an engagement shoot with YAAD as I would have loved to work with them one more time. Definitely reach out to them for all of your photography needs, you will not be disappointed!

We cannot say enough good things about Year and a Day Photography. I knew from the minute I met Belinda at a bridal event in Sayville that I was going to choose them ( a year later ) :). Their photos are crisp, real and simply amazing. Both Belinda and Lauren are so incredibly talented at what they do. From our engagement session to our wedding they were the best - they made us feel comfortable and relaxed. Nothing was forced. Nothing was posed. It was all natural and fun and that's exactly what I love most about their style of photography . I have only received my "sneak peak" from the wedding so far and I CAN NOT get enough of the pictures !!!! Everyone I've shared them with can't believe how beautiful they are. Someone actually said," these photos are so raw... it feels like you can touch them". I want to remember my wedding day exactly as it was and Year and a Day Photography did that for me. I recommend them to anyone and everyone looking for a photographer - you will not be disappointed !!!

LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! I only got a preview for my wedding that was this past weekend and the pictures are so amazing it brought me to tears! Belinda and Lauren are amazing to work with. Easy going and so professional! They walked me through every step and caught moments that I would never think to! I am so grateful that Year and Day Photography was recommended to me! The previous client was so pleased and after seeing their work and affordability, I didn't look any further. My husband and I live in another state and Belinda and Lauren were willing to accommodate all my needs, despite the distance. We greatly appreciated their flexibility and patience! As expected, I had many questions, which I asked through email, and they were very efficient and prompt with their responses. On our special day, they were patient and kind, and it felt like we were all friends and family! Belinda even took me and my man of honor to the venue, as I was still getting ready!! Due to my large family, I had many requests regarding combination shots and they made it happen! They were SO efficient with the sneak peak album and I was BLOWN AWAY by their work! It really was so exciting to be able to view some pictures so close after the wedding. They understood our vision and it was obvious in our pictures. Another great perk when choosing Year and Day Photography was that they mail you a USB with ALL the pictures they take. It took approximately four months to get all the pictures and it was worth it! Along with the USB, they send hard copies of the pictures from the sneak peak album! Finally, I greatly enjoyed and appreciated their relaxed but professional mentality! It was certainly needed on what could have been a very stressful day! Overall, we couldn't be more pleased with their service, professionalism, and value!
