We had an amazing experience with Lauren & Yellow Bow Florals for our late-summer wedding! Lauren was incredibly flexible and attentive, truly understanding our needs and working seamlessly with our unique space. The floral arrangements were stunning and nailed the elevated-dinner party vibe we were aiming for. Lauren was a joy to work with; professional, so so friendly, and passionate about her craft. There are no words kind enough to describe Lauren of Yellow Bow Florals and no endorsement strong enough to sufficiently describe their skill. Lauren is one of the most insightful, joyous, organized, and able artisans I have ever had the fortune to engage the talents of. YBF was the florist for my wedding and created: dramatic, sculptural pieces to frame our ceremony, a perfect bouquet for my wife, a boutonniere for me made to a rather exact specification (as well as a second, surprise boutonniere that I preferred and used!), a collection of bud vases and table florals– each a mini triumph unto themselves (in beautiful and thoughtfully discussed glassware), as well as expertly placed cake florals that heightened our rather byzantine wedding cake without gilding the (proverbial) lily. Lauren consulted with us on multiple calls and in-person meetings, got a sense for our tastes in language ranging from hyper-specific botanical selections to more implacable discussions of vibes and aesthetics, coordinated a drop off of our personal florals so we’d have them for photographs, and handled setup and teardown of everything at the venue so we didn’t have to worry about a thing on our wedding day. Most incredible of all, perhaps, is that Lauren accomplished all of this within and always keeping in mind our rather modest budget. If this effusive recommendation has not convinced you enough that Yellow Bow Florals is the best choice for whatever event you have in mind, my wife is currently pressing the flowers from her bouquet so that she can have them forever, and I can’t think of a stronger endorsement than that.

I cannot recommend Lauren at Yellow Bow Florals enough. She took my ideas, budget, and venue and created the most stunning arrangements. She was prompt and warm throughout the entire process. She sent updated proposals that really helped me visualize all the pieces for the big day. Our wedding arch specifically was beautiful and the colors complimented the space and my wedding colors perfectly. I love how they look in the photographs as well. It is well worth the investment!

To say Lauren is EXCELLENT is an understatement - you NEED to work with Lauren for your wedding or event and will be in awe of what she produces. She is a true pleasure to work with from start to finish. Firstly, she assessed our budget and venue and came up with the most grand floral arrangements that matched our taste, vision, and venue style. She offered to meet with us in person to show various floral arrangement stands and when we weren’t sure (since we have little experience) she knew exactly when to guide us in the direction she thought was most ELEGANT and BEAUTIFUL. And she was right! In addition, she was also very SKILLED at integrating candles with our arrangements at our ceremony and reception tables. She layered the candles by height and horizontally - I don’t quite know the science but I know it looked AMAZING (see picture). Throughout the entire process Lauren was very friendly and easy to work with! She provided an amazing proposal with little direction from us and once we gave some feedback on what we liked, she was extremely flexible and adapted our suggestions to the updated proposal. Lauren was incredible to work with our April wedding. I didn't want super traditional bridal florals, and had a hard time finding a florist that seemed to understand the direction I wanted to go in. Lauren was lovely to work with! Not only is she the sweetest, I had a vision that even my fiancé was struggling to see, but I explained it to her and she executed it better than i could have imagined. I would randomly email ideas like one certain flower I liked and she took that and ran with it never forgetting a detail. She also did the vases and candles for our dinner which took the stress out of decorating which was so nice since we were coming from out of state. Could not recommend more!!

Highly recommend working with Lauren & her team at Yellow Bow Florals! I spoke with several different florists while wedding planning and Lauren stood out instantly. Lauren is so wonderful to work with. Besides the fact that everything she creates is beautiful she is so nice, bubbly and easy to work with. She was able to bring my vision to life through a quick call and look at my Pinterest board. Any add ons and changes were also easily accommodated and my day was perfect. So many of my guests commented on how pretty the flowers and candles were at my reception. The huge C made out of flowers was a hit as well! Here is an example of what sets Lauren apart: My husband asked for a special pocket boutonniere that is a boutonniere that is on a card that tucks into the front pocket of a tux instead of pinned to the jacket. The night before the wedding he realized the pocket on his tux did not open and was freaking out. He gave Lauren a call and she assured him she would figure it out and had no problem changing the boutonniere for us. She even went above and beyond and created a boutonniere that had magnets that would give the same aesthetic as the pocket boutonniere and a regular boutonniere in case her creation didn’t work. It came out stunning and he was extremely happy with how different it was from anything he’s seen before. Choose Yellow Bow Flowers – You will not be disappointed!

Lauren did an amazing job with the florals for our wedding at the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens and we HIGHLY recommend her!! As soon as we started working together, she put together a beautiful, thorough and detailed proposal with a color palette and inspiration photos. She was incredibly patient and iterated with us over video calls, phone calls, and an in person meeting to make sure the florals captured our vision for the day. Lauren was always so friendly and understanding when we were indecisive, and promptly and professionally responded to questions and changes we made. Lauren constantly went above and beyond - for example, she even offered to look at photos of the bridesmaids dresses to make sure they coordinated with our theme and looked good together. When we made requests that were not possible, she explained why something might not work, and then she also offered alternative solutions that we loved even more. I wore an embroidered veil and Lauren matched my bouquet to my veil - the bouquet was incredible and one of my favorite parts of our wedding. Lauren and her team's work helped us set the tone for our wedding, and we got SO many compliments on the beautiful floral arrangements. She was a dream to work with throughout the planning process and we truly can't say enough good things!

Lauren was fantastic. She was communicative, creative, and kept it fun. We had some specific criteria for our wedding, which was a blend of Persian and Jewish tradition, and Lauren rose to the challenge. Lauren/ Yellow Bow Florals was absolutely one of the high points of my entire wedding. First of all, she's an absolute gem to work with. She's friendly, kind and really loves what she does for work! She takes the time to understand your vision and expectations for the day. She is priced fairly for the NYC area and the quality of the florals that she sourced were 10/10 absolute amazing quality! We worked with her for a year leading up to my event and she was always available for a phone call or email update (and there were many!). She was punctual on day of and truly delivered above my expectations. I hadn't planned to "preserve" any of my wedding florals, but after falling in love with my bouquet, I knew I wanted to have them pressed. She even helped me find the vendor to press and preserve them for me. I never want to plan a wedding again [too stressful!] but if I did, Lauren would always be my florist! I'm sad it's over because you really fall in love with your vendors who are there to support you throughout the planning process. You won't regret hiring Yellow Bow.

Stop the search you’ve found your florist! We were amazed by the florals YBF created for our wedding. We knew we wanted to work with Lauren when we reviewed the initial proposal due to the attention to detail that was provided. Lauren was great to work with both professionally and personally. She provided great customer service leading up to the date to help us pick out a selection that fit our theme and budget, while looking amazing. She provided pictures of options with pricing that helped us make decisions. A month and a half before the wedding we decided we wanted a neon sign, and Lauren happily gave us ideas on how we could incorporate florals around it and it exceeded our expectations. From my first phone call with Lauren, I knew Yellow Bow Florals was going to be my florist. Her positive vibes, professionalism, flexibility and creativity were exactly what I was looking for. As it turned out, flexibility was key. Our ceremony was supposed to be outdoors at the Prospect Park Boathouse. On our wedding day the rain held out until 15 minutes before the guests arrived. Lauren and her crew put on their rain gear and got the altar moved inside for our back up rain plan. Rain or no rain, The Boathouse looked beautiful, the colors really complimented the room and the tables were perfect. The smell of the eucalyptus on the tables was such a refreshing scent- the flowers were so fresh. I loved everything about it!

We absolutely loved working with Lauren from start to finish. She understood our vision and executed beautifully on the day of our wedding. Working with her was seamless, problem-free and fun. Her prices are fair, and she is happy to make your budget work for you to bring your vision to life. Lauren created the most beautiful centerpieces and arrangements for our intimate wedding reception (and elopement)! From the ceremonial arch, to the bride's bouquet, to the little details of baby's breath flowers tied to the chairs for the ceremony, Lauren's floral decorations were inspired and top-notch and her delivery/installation/disassembly was professional and seamless. Would highly recommend Lauren to anyone looking for floral design!

Lauren was fantastic to work with, she listened to all my requests and made shifts due to the best flowers available for the season. We can't thank Lauren enough for her work on our wedding. The florals were absolutely stunning. We had a fall wedding, and I wanted to make sure the colors were unique/classy and complimentary but not matching to the fall setting in NYC. I loved the color palette that Lauren came up with. I didn't have a planner or a sense of how many florals were needed for the venue. Since florals are expensive, I appreciated that Lauren broken down her pricing by element and suggested tasteful amounts without trying to go overboard. We felt that she really cared about creating the right look for the space, with beautiful candles as well.

Lauren of Yellow Bow Florals is the BEST florist! We found her via Instagram, and from our initial meeting to our wedding day, she remained professional and respectful of our decisions. She asked about our wedding vision, and I shared a few photos of floral pieces that we wanted in our wedding. She saved everything on a PDF spread sheet, almost like what would have been my wedding scrapbook if I made one. I loved how organized Lauren was. We changed our minds about a few things and she was always so nice and prompt in her response. Another thing I love about Lauren is that she listened to us and what we shared about our wedding vision. She never once pushed us to go for anything else, but had suggestions that were in line with what we wanted. I loved that. She even agreed to work with my wedding cake baker (who also agrees that Lauren is so sweet and nice) to help decorate the cake with flowers, and even helped me tie on the bouquet charm to my bouquet. We ABSOLUTELY LOVED the floral pieces at our wedding, especially the ceremony arch! Lauren went above and beyond what we both expected, and we happily recommend her to any couple looking for a florist to handle their florist needs!

Creative, professional, kind. Truly the best in the biz. Yellow bow florals exceeded all expectations and was so much more than a florist. Lauren guided me every step of the way and made my insanely specific vision a reality. She was communicative and honestly I scheduled calls leading up to the wedding because she calmed me down and was my fav vendor to talk to! Guided me every step of the way for florals and overall decor. She is super knowledgeable and brought new ideas to the table. And the day of florals OMG!!! The bouquet was insanely gorgeous and the arrangements, incredible. So many guests complimented how beautiful/unique they were and how cohesive the whole event was. Also, moments before the ceremony I decided I wanted the bridesmaids bouquets wrapped in a different color and she had other options on hand. If you need a florist, hands down they are the best!!!

Lauren was an absolute delight to work with on the flowers for our September wedding in Brooklyn. From our initial conversations all the way through our big day, she was thoughtful, attentive, kind and so fun to work with. Unlike other vendors (including florists) we spoke with, Lauren never tried to upsell us or force us into a package that wasn’t right for our tastes or needs. She was 100% willing to work with us on exactly what we wanted, even if it didn’t cover the full suite of traditional floral arrangements. She was also super flexible in updating our arrangements (including style, number and type) even up until a couple days before. I can’t recommend Lauren and her team enough—they are fabulous and I hope to have the chance to work with them again!

Yellow Bow Florals was an absolute JOY to work with for our wedding August 2021 at Brooklyn Winery! Lauren is so talented, professional, and we just had so much fun during our time with her. Her initial floral proposal was very thorough and we felt she really understood everything we were looking for. I was always at as ease with how organized the process was. Plus, it was just so much more FUN than I expected! She responded to all of our emails (aka my crazy random questions) quickly and was so patient when I didn’t respond to emails as quickly :) (wedding brain is real..!). On our wedding day, we were blown away by how amazing everything looked. I know it's an overused expression, but it was honestly beyond anything we could have imagined. So beautiful and thoughtfully done, no detail was overlooked. Her bouquets and arrangements were stunning. I even had happy tears in my eyes when we were shown the reception room — it was all just so gorgeous. We didn’t have an unlimited budget, but you would never know that because Lauren helped us put together the wedding of our dreams. Lauren was amazing to work with. I talked to a lot of different florists and she was a cut above the rest- Super responsive, friendly and warm, eager to meet and really understand my vision, and very helpful with figuring out how to work within my budget. All to say an absolute pleasure to work with. Beyond all that, the flowers were gorgeous! She did a beautiful job.

Lauren and her team were amazing!!! We spoke for ~30 minutes and I knew right away she would be my florist. She was unlike anyone I had spoken to (and I think she was like.. the 10th florist I called). She is so nice and caring and extremely creative. I had a vision that I wanted to flesh out with her and I could tell that she knew what I was looking for. After our initial call she sent me a mood board that was spot on. Worked with Lauren on a styled shoot for a wedding and let's be real, her creations MADE the whole shoot. Wow! Loved the vision she had (dried flowers with touches of warm colors, but I'm sure she would master any idea or look), the bouquets and centerpieces were super unique yet timeless and everyone kept gushing over them. I can't wait to work with her again and would recommend her to every single bride!
