Yellow House Images and Video

ess was not even a stressor on our radar. Andrew, Teddy, and Jess formed an amazing team that captured unforgettable moments. The calmness they brought truly helped set the tone for the morning, Afternoon, and Evening. They will always have a special place in our hearts and on our mantle. Thank you, Yellowhouse! If you see this comment, it is a sign to use them. 📸😎🤵‍♂️👰

ng, and has a style that isn’t constantly in your face like I have seen from other wedding photographers. I knew that I wanted to enjoy my wedding and not have a videographer or a photographer shining a light in my face to capture my memories artificially. I wanted someone to capture my organic moments with a deft eye for how to capture moments without being seen.

ew's style of photography is unparalleled for its use of light, angles and timing in all settings we found ourselves in over the course of the day and night. We are eternally impressed and grateful. Book them! Book them now!

ns are at an all time high, Andrew has the most calming, cool, and collected presence. I would hire him for this alone. He and his crew are true professionals. We also used him for our engagement pictures, which came out absolutely amazing!!! At the end of the shoot, my now husband and I couldn’t believe it was over already, the time flew by so quickly and we hardly felt like we were even taking pictures. When we got the pictures back a few days later, we loved all of them. He’s truly made for this. We got married in Montauk, and it was raining all day with insanely strong winds, enough to break multiple umbrellas in seconds. Andrew told me we would go with the flow and I trusted him wholeheartedly. I asked him if it was possible to still take a picture at the lighthouse and his response was, “I’m down for anything if you’re down. Let’s do it.” So as I was running through the mud in my wedding dress to get a shot, umbrellas breaking, my husband holding my dress, my bridesmaids saying “she looks like she’s going to blow over,” Andrew and his crew got a photo that I will remember forever. You will not be disappointed if you hire Yellow House for your wedding or any other event for that matter. I will be recommending Andrew and his team to everyone I know!!!

and unique ideas. Loved seeing their creativity flow in the moment-- and our photos are reflective of that! We have received many compliments on all of our photos thus far, and a lot of our other vendors have been re-posting them all week since our wedding. Can't wait to see the rest of the photos and the video!

style video and a full length 60-ish min video. When we got the preview clip, we cried because of how beautifully it was done! Andrew and his assistant frequently work with our photographer (Anchor and Lace) and they worked seamlessly as a team - Andrew is more of a background presence and is not the type to stage moments. We are so excited to get our full video back!! Highly recommend.

ally comfortable. I love how none of our shots are overly posed - everything looks really natural and captures our day so well! I 100% recommend using Yellow House Images for your wedding day - one of our best decisions!

g mass, family portraits and candid photos. We would couldn't be happier with our decision to hire Yellow House Images for our big day.

ent. Especially during these crazy COVID times, they did such a great job making my husband and I feel at ease that they had everything taken care of. I am so impressed by all of the candid photos they were able to capture. Through their photos and videos I can recall every moment of our special day and I am so thankful that we will have them to look back on forever. They had a great mix of staged shots, candids and responded happily to some of the requests we also had. We told the photographers in advance that we wanted to take some sunset pictures by the water. They were so on top of it and took SO many beautiful sunset pictures as the sun was going down. They turned out to be some of my favorites of the whole day and I'm so thankful they put in so much time and effort to help us capture those moments. Very happy with how the pictures turned out and would definitely recommend them for any special event.

ppy with all of the candids. Andrew and his team went above and beyond. Cannot recommend them enough!!

D we had a small wedding so every interaction was even more intimate. From the candids, to the portraits, Yellow House nailed it. We wanted to make sure we had portraits of family but wanted a candid style of photography as well, they captured exactly what we discussed and made our day that much more special. Highly recommend!

showed up on time on the day of and immediately started snapping pictures and capturing moments without being intrusive. He sent me a sneak peak of 30 pictures the very next morning which was SO appreciated and they all came out so beautiful!! Highly recommend.

families with our wedding, and my wife and I were both beyond impressed with the natural talent of Andrew and his team, as well as the ease with which they documented our day. We had a lot of logistics between our church and venue and hotels, and we got married in New Jersey. Andrew learned all of the people, schedule, times and places well in advance and was super comfortable in our space. Our pastor commended his abilities, and how naturally he took to our church. Our wedding coordinator called him one of the most natural photographers she has ever worked with. We cannot say enough about the Yellow House team - THANK YOU ANDREW!

we made. We were very nervous about photographing awkwardly but Andrew was so chill and made us feel at ease. Our photos came back so natural - not overly edited or modified. They caught all the great candid shots of us and our guests.

il I found myself in the process and it is so hard to find honest and reliable vendors. From the moment I reached out to Andrew, he was polite, kind and courteous. He went through everything with me-his personal background, pricing, budget, pictures, styles, dates, times and answered ALL my questions (and I had a lot lol). He was very considerate and generous with his services to match my needs and budget. After our initial emails and meetings, we remained in contact through the duration of time following up to my wedding where we went over a final itinerary and planning. The photographers that were present at my events were so courteous, professional, prompt and just overall good vibed people. This was so important to me because I wanted to feel comfortable and they really exuded that. I can tell they enjoyed what they do as photographers and were excited to be present during this mile stone in my life. After my wedding, Andrew remained in contact and was timely with the delivery of my final photos even sending me a preview prior which was nice to see ahead of the final ones. The main reason I even looked into Yellow House was because I really found their photography aesthetic to be in my wheelhouse. From their candid in the moment pictures, to capturing the scenic vibe, was what I was looking for and they delivered. If you want piece of mind, professionalism, and quality work- 100 PERCENT hire this company to capture your big day. You won't regret it. And it will literally be one less thing to think about. This will not be the last time I hire this company. Thanks again to Andrew and his crew! :)

re phenomenal! They took many photos that truly captured the happiness and joy of the day. As happy as we are, though, I do have some constructive criticism. I felt like they could be better in terms of communication. Both before and after the wedding, I would send an email and not receive a response for days, sometimes over a week, before hearing back or having to follow up with another email. We understand that weekends are the busy time, but aside from that, we typically expect professional emails to be answered within 48-72 hours. Additionally, while we understand there’s already a lot of work involved, it would definitely be helpful if the bulk of the photos were organized in some manner (e.g. getting ready, ceremony, group photos, reception) to make them easier to go through. We were very torn by the “My Take” folder, which contained about 300 photos that the photographer felt best told the story of the day. While they told the story, they certainly were not the best or most flattering photos in many cases. Most of our favorites, often just different shots of some of the same moments from ‘My Take’, were found in the “Extra” folder that contained everything else. It’s subjective though, I guess. I ultimately merged all of the folders we were given and then categorized the photos and put together our own take. We only mention these cons because we want to see Yellow House Images improve in ways that we feel will help them to succeed as a business for future clients. We are extremely happy with our photos and are glad to have found photographers with whom we clicked well with and were comfortable with! I was very nervous about how comfortable we would be, and how that would translate into the photos… but we all got along so well that everything felt so natural! We would 100% use them again for another event, and highly recommend them!

are so passionate about what they do and it truly shows. They spent the whole day with us, even staying for the after party! We loved the documentary style that captured every moment throughout the day. We highly recommend Yellow House!

out the entire wedding and we loved how our engagement photos came out! We can't recommend them enough!

fidence and ease. There'd be no doubt we would be thrilled to have Andrew spend our wedding day with us, and that we would absolutely love our wedding pictures. As a wedding planner myself, I have worked with so many photographers over the years, and cannot sing my praises high enough for the comfort we had with Andrew, the confidence in his work, and the stunning images we have received. Stopping looking at photographers and book Yellow House Images!

d almost unnoticeable after the wedding party photos are done. They have a great eye for background and capturing the most beautiful scenes at the venue as well as beautiful candidates of the bride and groom. More importantly, the pictures came out great and are not all just boring shots. Creative ones too! Very well done.

pher at that first meeting for us to sit down with (something other photography places did not let us do). Teddy, John, Rob, and Tim all made every part of our wedding amazing! They made us comfortable the whole day! We loved how they took so many candid, unposed shots. They were all amazing to work with and I’d highly recommend them to anyone looking for photographers!

him, and boy were we right in our decision. He was an absolute pleasure to work with and a total professional. The preview photos that he has shared with us already are absolutely stunning. Every angle, every detail and you never even knew he and his team were there doing it all. They spent the whole day with us and we had a lot of laughs with them too. His pictures were so incredible that the staff at our venue asked me to send them to them as well. He also took some pictures at our rehearsal the night before (not something we asked him to do) and they are priceless! We can’t wait to see the rest and the video! There aren’t enough frames to capture all of the amazing photos. Thank you so much Andrew!

ts of our ceremony and was in the action for the party!! Ted was with me literally all day and started by capturing all the cute special moments during the day. It was so hectic, but he was always calm and took amazing video! The day goes by too fast so having the video to be able to enjoy this day over and over again is wonderful! I can’t thank them enough for the beautiful footage I have of the best day of my life!

s beautiful, not overly-posed photos and a low-stress experience. We initially met with Andrew because I was super impressed with the sample photos on his website. He is awesome at taking shots that show real emotion. Andrew was also the best to work with because he is super laid back and put everyone at ease. It was important for me to have an unobtrusive photographer who wouldn't take away from the wedding experience on the day of, and Andrew did a perfect job! Having Andrew photograph you is not annoying or stressful at all -- it's actually fun. Andrew also recommended the locations we used for our wedding and engagement shoots, and both places came out looking so pretty in the photos and were exactly what I wanted. We had a great experience with Yellow House Images and love our photos and video!

edding. He is unbelievable and the pictures are evidence to show. We would highly recommend him and are so happy we found him!

d an absolute pleasure to work with. Andrew and the other videographers took beautiful moments on video that truly captured the entire essence of our wedding day. Not only did they create a flawless finished product. The video was everything I hoped for and more. I can't wait to rewatch this video for years to come. I highly recommend using Yellow House Images!

h and kept us on schedule. They did a great job doing exactly what we had wanted which were more candid natural photographs. I highly recommend them!!

el so comfortable. Even with their daughters birthday party happening later that same day, they never made us feel rushed, or not important. Wedding days can be extremely stressful, but Ted (our photographer/Andrew’s assistant who is just the SWEETEST) made sure Myself and my husband felt as comfortable as possible, while also managing to capture the most stunning photos of us. On top of that, our videographer, John, created the most spectacular video of the most important day of our lives. We could not recommend Yellow House Images enough...if you are looking for the highest quality photographers that capture the most magical moments of your important day, look no further!

2017. My husband and I went to meet with Andrew about 9 months before our big day to make sure we were on the same page. He talked us through his style, showed us some of his albums, and ran us through the day of. We felt like it was a good fit, so we moved ahead with booking. Any time we needed something from Andrew or had questions, he got back to us usually within a matter of hours. He was SO helpful and accommodating. The day of, he had great ideas for a few nice posed shots, but the rest of our images are candids of family and friends that really convey all the excitement and happiness from our wedding. From getting ready with the girls at 11 the morning right up until midnight when our beach bonfire ended, these guys caught everything! We just got our images and video back and we absolutely LOVE THEM. I can't stop looking at them! Thanks Andrew!!!

ng. Andrew makes you feel comfortable and most importantly wants you to be happy with your final product. He takes the time to understand your style and what you're looking for in your photos and delivers. Andrew is a MASTER at candid shots and capturing special moments without you even knowing he's there. We've been to so many weddings where brides and grooms are missing from the festivities because they've been pulled away for photoshoots. I'm sure that's great and you get a lot of posed shots for your wedding album but what about the real fun?! The REAL emotions of the day! That's what we wanted to see in our photos and that's what Andrew did. Our bridal party and family members didn't even know they were being photographed half the time and the pictures are priceless because of it. We can't thank Andrew and yellow house images enough for capturing such beautiful moments on our special day. If you're looking for a photographer who's unlike all the others (in an amazing way) you MUST go with Yellow House Images! Promise you won't be disappointed!

d, they were there capturing the moment. Our pictures from our day turned out incredible and blew us away. Andrew has an eye for photography and a true style. Each photo was so well curated, edited and stylized... they truly captured the moment. I'm so beyond happy we chose them to do our photos. Andrew also provided very helpful recommendations for photo locations leading up to the event- which was super helpful! He recommended a flower field which was so beautiful and contrasted nicely with our other beach/ nautical shots. Andrew, Ted, John and Team are super relaxed and easy going- which really helps with the mood on the day of. They're good people, and their work is polished. I work at a top magazine in NYC so having a journalistic eye was important to me...Andrew's background at the NY Daily News really brings everything to the next level! We highly recommend them!

When we saw their body of work we knew we had to have them be a part of our wedding, even though they live two states away! The videographers that worked with us were so professional and easy going at the same time. They blended in perfectly with our wild bunch and added to the day's fun! When they were editing the video they made sure to include songs we requested which added such a personal touch. And the drone!! That was one of the best additions we could have made. Our wedding was in the mountains and the drone added a view point that amazed everyone watching. Thank you Yellow House Images for all of your hard work, flexibility, professionalism and talent!! I recommend this company 100%.

d photo and drone shots. I researched over forty photographers (no joke) but by far the best images I've ever seen in my life came from Yellow House Images. It was well worth the price and we got a good package for photo, video, an engagement shoot and even a bridal shower shoot. I told Andrew that we are going to use him to take photos at all of our life events from now on! I think that the most important vendor for a wedding other than venue is photographer and you definitely can't go wrong with Yellow House Images. These photographers have shot for the NY Times, Nat Geo, etc and know what they're doing. They have their method down to a science and provide an artsy, journalistic lens to the photos and aren't just regular cookie-cutter wedding photographers (though they also capture the classic, essential photos too!) THANK YOU YELLOW HOUSE IMAGES - IF I COULD GIVE YOU A MILLION STARS I WOULD!!

such incredible vision. Not only did he take beautiful photos, his demeanor the day of our wedding really helped keep the day calm and relaxed. He never rushed, he never bossed us around or made us retake things 100 times, he and his team were completely professional. It was effortless having them by our side, they felt more like the wedding party than they did photographers!! We just got our final photos and video recently (our wedding was June 2) and my husband and I could not stop smiling looking at everything. We watched our video on repeat because Andrew and his team captured our day so perfectly it felt like we were reliving it. I cannot say enough about Yellow House Images. Photography was so important to us as the photographs/video are all you have from your wedding day. If you want the best of the best, that is Andrew and his team.

get grabbed by any of the crew for pictures during the day and we ended up with amazing pictures and video. very candid, great shots. the guests didnt even realize that they were there and neither did we and they got absolutely everything to document the day! there is not enough great things to say about andrew and his team i would use them 100 times over! thank you yellow house !

e wedding world. I would recommend him to anyone without a shadow of doubt. Without going into detail, on my wedding day, I had some overtly stressful occurrences of which Mr Theodorakis was present; his sensitivity and compassion to the situation was nothing short of true excellence. He is not only a fabulously talented photographer, but a good human being!! Book this company as your wedding photography today!!

ough amazing things about Andrew and his team. They always make us feel so comfortable and look the best we ever have! They were so unobtrusive on our wedding day- I hardly noticed they were there. My husband and I never got that "fatigue" that so many brides and grooms get from taking too many photos or having to smile for too long. Everything about the day was perfect and Yellow House contributed to that! I would have paid them any price for the work they do- they are well worth it! The gown gets preserved, the flowers die, but photos are forever, and Yellow House will make sure your photos are beautiful and tasteful, and will truly become memoirs of your special day!

and aligned with all the priorities we had; to focus on making this day about my mine and my husband's union and it was exactly that-- reflective of our life, personality and love! He came all the way to Brooklyn Heights for our first meeting and shared a beer with us. We live a very relaxed life, so stiff, posed photos were not our jam and that is in their DNA as well. Both Andrew and our second shooter Corey were focused on capturing natural moments, natural light and all the details without one moment of stress on our shoulders. They got along so well with everyone else working and partying -- many guests complimented the way the floated seamlessly through the day and night. They both made sure to take a few moments to stop us and take it all in-- and at those thoughtful times caught some of the best photos of the day. They were organized yet nimble-- "its warm in November- let's hit the lighthouse!". It was the most perfect day for my husband and I and all of our guests were overwhelmed with the full experience YH helped create. Communication was not overbearing, but quick, clear and timely... and of course, the photos were stunning! Thank you Andrew and Corey from Yellow House!

isty wedding on Fire Island. Despite some anxiety around the inclement weather, the Yellow House team put us right at ease. They kept us on schedule, we were able to capture all of the “must take” photos on our list, and they were so fun to work with! The photographers and videographers were non-intrusive but never seemed to miss a moment. We are so grateful for Andrew and Yellow House Images- they are the best!

y of, he and his second shooter, John worked incredibly hard to get amazing shots and our video not only captured the beauty of our venue but the feel and emotion of our entire day. Andrew absolutely nailed it with the music choices and all the shots. He was flexible with all of my edits and made the final product exactly what we wanted. Thanks to Yellow House Images for capturing our day so perfectly!

know when we look at the pics in 40 years, we will still be able to look at them and they will remind us of how we actually felt in those moments. I haven't gotten my video back yet but after getting my pictures back i have no doubt that the video will be just as exceptional if not even better. They exceeded our expectations and captured all the important moments with originality and ingenuity. Since the wedding, I have received a ton of compliments about their professionalism and how "non-wedding photo ish" they were....and that is an amazing compliment ( at least to me it is) I highly, highly recommend them - there are a lot of wedding photographers out there, but if you're looking for photo journalistic then you will not regret choosing Yellow House!

asy going attitude is an added perk. We booked him for photo and video and we were lucky enough to do a few engagement shots as well. These pictures turned out *incredible.* On our wedding day Andrew and his team, Ted, James, and John were a dream - all so genuinely kind, fun and talented. We received our pictures back last week and they are so gorgeous that I am starting to feel guilty accepting so many compliments for their work - these pictures belong in a magazine. Can't recommend Yellow House enough, our easiest decision turned out to be our best one!

. They all did a fantastic job that day! They were so friendly, professional, and easy to work with! They weren't in our face like most photographers are but rather captured our special moments in more of a candid way, which is exactly what we wanted. We can't wait to see our photos and video, as we know they will be amazing. Thank you, Yellow House!

We loved his style, demeanor, passion for what he does and decided that day we wanted to hire him. We used Andrew and his team for our engagement pictures, bridal shower, rehearsal dinner and wedding! All of our pictures are so amazing and we couldn't be happier that we chose Yellow House to help capture all of these special moments for us. Andrew and his entire team were truly wonderful people to work with and they helped make our wedding day go off without a hitch. He was always open to a suggestion and captured all the details we asked him to. Our pictures were actually fun to take and we love all the candids that Andrew takes. We would highly recommend Yellow House to any couple for their wedding or for ANY event!

, everyone was friendly, and the outcome is amazing! Our highlight video brought tears to my eyes and is a wonderful way to commemorate a day that goes by so fast you can't remember all the details. Several family members called to rave about how beautiful the video turned out. We plan to watch it on every anniversary.
