On our wedding day when excitement and emotions are at an all time high, Andrew has the most calming, cool, and collected presence. I would hire him for this alone. He and his crew are true professionals. We also used him for our engagement pictures, which came out absolutely amazing!!! At the end of the shoot, my now husband and I couldn’t believe it was over already, the time flew by so quickly and we hardly felt like we were even taking pictures. When we got the pictures back a few days later, we loved all of them. He’s truly made for this. We got married in Montauk, and it was raining all day with insanely strong winds, enough to break multiple umbrellas in seconds. Andrew told me we would go with the flow and I trusted him wholeheartedly. We are absolutely obsessed with our photo preview!!!! Andrew and his team did an amazing job capturing the essence of our day. They were so much fun to work with and had such cool and unique ideas. We hired Andrew just two weeks before our wedding because we weren’t sure we would have room in the budget for video. We are SO happy that we did!! Our package includes a “trailer” style video and a full length 60-ish min video. When we got the preview clip, we cried because of how beautifully it was done! Andrew and his assistant frequently work with our photographer (Anchor and Lace) and they worked seamlessly as a team - Andrew is more of a background presence and is not the type to stage moments. We are so excited to get our full video back!! Highly recommend.

We hired Andrew and his yellow house team for photography and videography for my september 2020 wedding on Fire Island. They were such professionals leading up to and during the event. Especially during these crazy COVID times, they did such a great job making my husband and I feel at ease that they had everything taken care of. I am so impressed by all of the candid photos they were able to capture. Through their photos and videos I can recall every moment of our special day and I am so thankful that we will have them to look back on forever. They had a great mix of staged shots, candids and responded happily to some of the requests we also had. We told the photographers in advance that we wanted to take some sunset pictures by the water. They were so on top of it and took SO many beautiful sunset pictures as the sun was going down. They turned out to be some of my favorites of the whole day and I'm so thankful they put in so much time and effort to help us capture those moments. You spend a lot of time with your photographers on the big day, we couldn’t have asked for better people to be around capturing the most special moments. Andrew from Yellow House Images Is simply amazing!! I was able to book Andrew last minute for our wedding ceremony. He was so friendly and quick to respond to emails and texts. He showed up on time on the day of and immediately started snapping pictures and capturing moments without being intrusive. He sent me a sneak peak of 30 pictures the very next morning which was SO appreciated and they all came out so beautiful!! Highly recommend.

Andrew and his team were impeccable vendors for photo and video on our wedding day! They are super calm, because they know what they are doing. We blended two very large and unique families with our wedding, and my wife and I were both beyond impressed with the natural talent of Andrew and his team, as well as the ease with which they documented our day. We had a lot of logistics between our church and venue and hotels, and we got married in New Jersey. Andrew learned all of the people, schedule, times and places well in advance and was super comfortable in our space. Our pastor commended his abilities, and how naturally he took to our church. My husband and I booked Yellow House for our engagement shoot and wedding in November. As soon as we met Andrew, we knew we wanted to book him right away! It was the best decision we made. We were very nervous about photographing awkwardly but Andrew was so chill and made us feel at ease. Our photos came back so natural - not overly edited or modified. I really wanted to give some praise to Yellow House Images for being so accommodating and professional throughout my wedding planning. I had no idea so much went into planning until I found myself in the process and it is so hard to find honest and reliable vendors. From the moment I reached out to Andrew, he was polite, kind and courteous. He went through everything with me-his personal background, pricing, budget, pictures, styles, dates, times and answered ALL my questions (and I had a lot lol). He was very considerate and generous with his services to match my needs and budget. After our initial emails and meetings, we remained in contact through the duration of time following up to my wedding where we went over a final itinerary and planning. The photographers that were present at my events were so courteous, professional, prompt and just overall good vibed people. This was so important to me because I wanted to feel comfortable and they really exuded that. I can tell they enjoyed what they do as photographers and were excited to be present during this mile stone in my life. After my wedding, Andrew remained in contact and was timely with the delivery of my final photos even sending me a preview prior which was nice to see ahead of the final ones. The main reason I even looked into Yellow House was because I really found their photography aesthetic to be in my wheelhouse. From their candid in the moment pictures, to capturing the scenic vibe, was what I was looking for and they delivered. They were so amazing to us on our wedding day, and Andrew and his wife Kathy are the sweetest! They’re photojournalist style and definitely a splurge, but the photos we received were phenomenal! They took many photos that truly captured the happiness and joy of the day. As happy as we are, though, I do have some constructive criticism. I felt like they could be better in terms of communication. Both before and after the wedding, I would send an email and not receive a response for days, sometimes over a week, before hearing back or having to follow up with another email. We understand that weekends are the busy time, but aside from that, we typically expect professional emails to be answered within 48-72 hours. Additionally, while we understand there’s already a lot of work involved, it would definitely be helpful if the bulk of the photos were organized in some manner (e.g. getting ready, ceremony, group photos, reception) to make them easier to go through. We were very torn by the “My Take” folder, which contained about 300 photos that the photographer felt best told the story of the day. While they told the story, they certainly were not the best or most flattering photos in many cases. Most of our favorites, often just different shots of some of the same moments from ‘My Take’, were found in the “Extra” folder that contained everything else. It’s subjective though, I guess. I ultimately merged all of the folders we were given and then categorized the photos and put together our own take. We only mention these cons because we want to see Yellow House Images improve in ways that we feel will help them to succeed as a business for future clients. We are extremely happy with our photos and are glad to have found photographers with whom we clicked well with and were comfortable with! I was very nervous about how comfortable we would be, and how that would translate into the photos… but we all got along so well that everything felt so natural! We would 100% use them again for another event, and highly recommend them!

Yellow House Images were remarkable photographers! They were very friendly, professional, well-equipped, understanding and most of all compassionate. They are very unobtrusive and almost unnoticeable after the wedding party photos are done. They have a great eye for background and capturing the most beautiful scenes at the venue as well as beautiful candidates of the bride and groom. More importantly, the pictures came out great and are not all just boring shots. Creative ones too! Very well done.

Everything about Yellow House Images was amazing, from our very first meeting with Andrew! He was not available the day of our wedding, however he had the photographer and videographer at that first meeting for us to sit down with (something other photography places did not let us do). Teddy, John, Rob, and Tim all made every part of our wedding amazing! They made us comfortable the whole day! We loved how they took so many candid, unposed shots. They were all amazing to work with and I’d highly recommend them to anyone looking for photographers!

I can’t recommend Andrew and his team highly enough. Andrew traveled with us to Newport for our wedding this past weekend. From the first day we met him we knew we wanted to hire him, and boy were we right in our decision. He was an absolute pleasure to work with and a total professional. The preview photos that he has shared with us already are absolutely stunning. Every angle, every detail and you never even knew he and his team were there doing it all. They spent the whole day with us and we had a lot of laughs with them too. His pictures were so incredible that the staff at our venue asked me to send them to them as well. John and Ted are AMAZING! From our first meeting with John, we knew our search for the perfect videographer was over. He is so passionate and loves what he does! He got amazing shots of our ceremony and was in the action for the party!! Ted was with me literally all day and started by capturing all the cute special moments during the day. It was so hectic, but he was always calm and took amazing video! The day goes by too fast so having the video to be able to enjoy this day over and over again is wonderful! I can’t thank them enough for the beautiful footage I have of the best day of my life!

Andrew and his team did a fantastic job on our wedding photos and video, and our engagement photos too! I'm so glad we went with them, and highly recommend them to anyone who wants beautiful, not overly-posed photos and a low-stress experience. There are not enough words to describe how much I love Yellow House Images. From second one, meeting Andrew and his beautiful family in their adorable home made my husband and I feel so comfortable. From start to finish, Yellow House Images was probably our best and easiest vendor to work with. Andrew and his team did the photography and videography for our wedding in August, 2017. My husband and I went to meet with Andrew about 9 months before our big day to make sure we were on the same page. He talked us through his style, showed us some of his albums, and ran us through the day of. We felt like it was a good fit, so we moved ahead with booking. Any time we needed something from Andrew or had questions, he got back to us usually within a matter of hours. He was SO helpful and accommodating. The day of, he had great ideas for a few nice posed shots, but the rest of our images are candids of family and friends that really convey all the excitement and happiness from our wedding. From getting ready with the girls at 11 the morning right up until midnight when our beach bonfire ended, these guys caught everything! Andrew shot our engagement session almost two years ago and our wedding a month and a half ago. After working with him for our engagement shoot, we knew he was he guy for our wedding. Andrew makes you feel comfortable and most importantly wants you to be happy with your final product. I'm so so happy that we chose Yellowhouse Images to do our photos and video for our wedding. They were incredible to work with and absolute professionals. Every time I looked around, they were there capturing the moment. Our pictures from our day turned out incredible and blew us away. Andrew has an eye for photography and a true style. I wish I could give Yellow House 8 stars! The video they created for us of our wedding weekend PERFECTLY captured every aspect of our wedding and really surpassed our expectations. When we saw their body of work we knew we had to have them be a part of our wedding, even though they live two states away! The videographers that worked with us were so professional and easy going at the same time. They blended in perfectly with our wild bunch and added to the day's fun! When they were editing the video they made sure to include songs we requested which added such a personal touch. And the drone!! That was one of the best additions we could have made. We KNEW we had to hire Yellow House Images when we saw their insanely gorgeous website with classically beautiful wedding shots but also off-beat, artsy, once-in-a-lifetime captured photo and drone shots. I researched over forty photographers (no joke) but by far the best images I've ever seen in my life came from Yellow House Images. It was well worth the price and we got a good package for photo, video, an engagement shoot and even a bridal shower shoot. I told Andrew that we are going to use him to take photos at all of our life events from now on! I think that the most important vendor for a wedding other than venue is photographer and you definitely can't go wrong with Yellow House Images. These photographers have shot for the NY Times, Nat Geo, etc and know what they're doing. They have their method down to a science and provide an artsy, journalistic lens to the photos and aren't just regular cookie-cutter wedding photographers (though they also capture the classic, essential photos too!) Yellow House Images was AMAZING. From the moment my husband and I met Andrew for our first meeting we knew it was the right fit. Andrew is so passionate about photography and has such incredible vision. Not only did he take beautiful photos, his demeanor the day of our wedding really helped keep the day calm and relaxed. He never rushed, he never bossed us around or made us retake things 100 times, he and his team were completely professional. It was effortless having them by our side, they felt more like the wedding party than they did photographers!! We just got our final photos and video recently (our wedding was June 2) and my husband and I could not stop smiling looking at everything. I cannot speak highly enough about Mr. Theodorakis and his work!! His professionalism and patience are near heroic. His photography is easily some of the best I've ever seen in the wedding world. I would recommend him to anyone without a shadow of doubt. Without going into detail, on my wedding day, I had some overtly stressful occurrences of which Mr Theodorakis was present; his sensitivity and compassion to the situation was nothing short of true excellence. We used Yellow House for our engagement photo shoot, a first home shoot, and most recently, our wedding photos and video. I can't wait to see the finished products! Yellow House was exactly what we were looking for! We live in Brooklyn and got married in Montauk this past November. From the very beginning, Andrew and was kind, creative, calm and aligned with all the priorities we had; to focus on making this day about my mine and my husband's union and it was exactly that-- reflective of our life, personality and love! He came all the way to Brooklyn Heights for our first meeting and shared a beer with us. We live a very relaxed life, so stiff, posed photos were not our jam and that is in their DNA as well. Both Andrew and our second shooter Corey were focused on capturing natural moments, natural light and all the details without one moment of stress on our shoulders. They got along so well with everyone else working and partying -- many guests complimented the way the floated seamlessly through the day and night. They both made sure to take a few moments to stop us and take it all in-- and at those thoughtful times caught some of the best photos of the day. They were organized yet nimble-- "its warm in November- let's hit the lighthouse!". It was the most perfect day for my husband and I and all of our guests were overwhelmed with the full experience YH helped create. We found Andrew and Yellow House Images by means of glowing referral from friend and they did not disappoint! Andrew and his team were absolutely incredible during our windy and misty wedding on Fire Island. Despite some anxiety around the inclement weather, the Yellow House team put us right at ease. They kept us on schedule, we were able to capture all of the “must take” photos on our list, and they were so fun to work with! From the start of our wedding journey, to the finish, Andrew was purely amazing. He was down to earth, realistic and genuinely wanted to capture the authenticity of our special day. When we first met with him we instantly knew he was the one we would trust to photograph our wedding day. We are believers in "good vibes" and the second Andrew started speaking about his craft, we could tell that his work was his passion. When it came time for our engagement photos Andrew made the process fun, natural, and care free. He was able to capture moments that were real, not staged. Needless to say when we got our engagement photos back, we were floored at how amazing they came out. It also provided us with a sense of excitement leading to our wedding day. I mean, if our engagement photos came out that good, then how would our wedding day turn out?! I will cut to the chase... Our wedding photos were amazing. Andrew helped tell our story by capturing almost every moment from the start of the day to the end of the party. In fact, he helped us remember some things that slipped our mind from that day. The day passed us by in an instant, and with over 280 people at our venue, there were some moments we were not able to be a part of. Andrew was able to pay attention to the details of our day, while also capturing priceless moments we will now never forget. If you are looking for a masterful photographer who believes that photos should be natural, candid and beautiful then Andrew is your man. Stop your searching and meet with him as soon as possible. You won't be let down. We are looking forward to working with him again when we eventually start our family. There's no one else we would turn to in order to capture our next chapter in life. I knew that out of all the vendors we would have to book for our wedding, photography and videography were at the top of our list as far as which was the most important to us. We made several appointments with various photographers/videographers and Yellow House Images was our first appointment. We ended up booking them that day and cancelling all of our other appointments! Andrew and Kathy are not only very talented, but are also extremely down-to-earth and incredibly easy to work with. They listened to everything we said and made appropriate and professional suggestions when needed. Andrew shot our engagement session a year ago, and I knew right away our wedding pictures and video would come out just as wonderful. My wedding was a few weeks ago and we just received our wedding pictures back... I could cry at how beautiful they came out! He even used a drone to shoot a lot of the photos and video (which my guests are still talking about)! Andrew even sent someone from his team to come take photos at our rehearsal dinner which was above and beyond what was expected. I am dying to get back our video because I know it will be just as amazing as the pictures. Booking them was probably the easiest decision we made for our wedding. We cannot wait to use them again in the future!! :)

Yellow House Images was an absolute pleasure to work with!! We are so grateful we hired them for our wedding video. Its perfect - they captured all the special moments & emotion of the day wrapped up in a beautifully done short-story video. (Family & friends came to tears when they watched it!) There was no other choice in our minds. Yellow House had the most unique and natural take on wedding photos and video I've ever seen. The results: incredible photos and footage nobody else could have put together in quite the same way. Simply put, amazing.

Andrew & team were so amazing. Us brides have hundreds of wedding day decisions to make, and your photographer is one of the most important. My pictures came out SO amazing. After seeing my photos, a friend of mine texted me - I want to get divorced and get married again so I can use your photographer! My husband and I both have huge families and everything was seamless, low stress, and pretty much on schedule. I felt very comfortable with the team (super important on a stressful day)... andrew kept me on schedule and even helped me carry my dress to my car! Not part of his job description but he did it with a smile and you just knew didn't mind. We met months before the wedding and discussed the "musts" and timeline during that meeting and several subsequent calls. It was important to me to have some posed photos but the majority of them are beautiful candids. We hadn't planned on it, but during cocktail hour Andrew suggested we take a few shots when he saw the sun was setting and the light was gorgeous. Highly recommended!!!

My husband and I were unsure about video and consulted our photographer for a reference "just in case"... I'm so glad we did! Andrew is a true professional, has a sharp eye, and produced a beautiful video to capture a memorable night. The final cut brought us and our family members to tears. You can't go with wrong with Andrew!

I used Yellow House Images for my wedding this past August and cannot recommend them more. From the moment they arrived my bridal party and myself felt so at ease. Their entire way of doing things is so relaxed, fun, and creative. They really understood our vision and we were blown away by the final result. There are three things we looked for when booking a wedding photographer - technical expertise (we wanted a photographer capable of shooting in all kinds of light), infinite patience (we knew there would be a few hiccups during the day - and there were), and most importantly, the ability to weave what is often a fragmented series of fleeting events (i.e. getting dressed, the toast, a first dance) into a tangible, coherent, and memorable “story.” Yellow House Images went above and beyond with all three. Andrew’s technical expertise - he’s an award-winning photojournalist - impressed even the most camera-savvy of our guests. Kathy, meanwhile, had an unlimited supply of much-needed patience - which makes sense since she teaches third graders. And as far as telling our story goes, we had no idea what was possible with a few hundred photographs and a couple of hours of video until Andrew and Kathy sent us the final product. We couldn’t recommend Yellow House Images enough - I guarantee they will do an amazing job.
