The place is absolutely beautiful!!! The couple that runs it are extremely nice and helpful. No need to spend money on decor cause the venue is gorgeous on its own. Bridal suite was beautiful and us girls had a blast staying there the night before the wedding. They even brought us donuts and coffee in the morning! My only complaint is there was no smoking section in the back where the party was so 95% of our guests were out front the whole time making our dj and bartender go home early because there was no one back there.

To say I loved our venue was an understatement. They were amazing to work with and very professional. Prior to our big day that left me come out a few times and really worked with me to make my big day special. We booked the venue for the night before and our Saturday. With that being said I did a slumber party with my bridesmaids the night before and we loved that. (plus it was so much easier just waking up and getting ready there). Luckily, (as told by many) that it sprinkled the entire day, so with help from my coordinator, florist, and wedding party (plus their staff) they did their first ever patio wedding because I wanted an outdoor ceremony. IT WAS BEAUTIFUL. the reception immediately followed with a flip of the patio.. again they knocked it out of the ballpark! All of our guests loved the venue it is truly breathtaking, plus it has the history (with the antique pieces too) to it which we loved that! The dance floor was big enough, we were able to maximize the tables for out guests. Have a fantastic flow of the venue so please could really enjoy it without feeling too crowded. If you want a waterfall in your pictures have an elegant rustic vibe.. this is the place for you! Really accommodating and fantastic to work with!

The mill was graciously renovated and restored in 2014 but still maintains its historic charm, including a 16 foot water wheel and 150 foot waterfall. The original grist mill equipment also remains. owleaf Creek Mill was beautiful this time of the year. The leaves were changing colors and the creek was high. The spillway was running at full capacity and made it so peaceful and soothing as my daughter and her bridesmaids prepared for the wedding in the bridal suite. The ceremony area and the reception area were set up for us. Yellowleaf provided the linens so we didn’t have to worry about getting them ourselves. The weather was chilly for the rehearsal dinner and the wedding. When we arrived on Friday Danyula and Todd had already put up the tent walls so we would be comfortable. I loved that we could rent the bridal suite overnight for our daughter and her bridesmaids. It made the wedding day so enjoyable to have access all day. The suite is beautiful and the ladies had so much fun spending the night together. Our daughter’s wedding was everything she dreamed it would be. We are so happy that she chose Yellowleaf. From booking day through the very last”I Do” we could not have asked for a more perfect experience.

moving chairs to helping us plan where everything would be placed. They were also very helpful when we had to move everything outside the day of the wedding ( we were planning for rain and had to plan for it to be inside). Me and my bridesmaids spent the night in the bridal suite the night before the wedding. This allowed us to be able to come to and from the venue at any time the morning and night before the wedding. The bridal suite was furnished with two beds, a claw foot bathtub and a full bathroom. The bridal suite was perfect for my getting ready pictures. I loved how the windows had shutters on the inside so there could be natural light let in for photography. The ceremony site was perfect with the water backdrop on the pier. The area for the reception was great because it allowed for enough room to have a first dance and bouquet / garter toss without negating enough tables and chairs for the guests to sit at. This is truely the best venue around for its price, location and amenities. I would give this venue 5 stars!

stress free and smooth as it could possibly be. They were very organized and everything was taken care of exactly as it should be. Danyula is very easy to work with and goes through every step of the big day beforehand in detail so that when the day comes, you don’t have to worry about anything or make any decisions, but instead get to focus on your guests and the celebration. I would absolutely (and have) refer all of my friends to this venue.

Our wedding day was perfect! The staff was amazing! The day was so relaxing for me and my bridal party and everything was handled professionally and they made us feel right at home...

! They even brought us our choice of breakfast at our chooser time! The venue was amazing and the staff even helped us with decorations and the tables. After the ceremony the groom and I went to the bridal sweet for a private meal that they had ready and waiting on us!! The venue even gave us suggestions for vendors that we were looking for in the wedding planning process and those vendors have us discounts because of the venue we used! All around it was a perfect day right down to the weather!!!

The mill itself is so beautiful and doesn’t require much more decorating which we really appreciated. The owners are so great to work with and made everything so simple. I highly recommend having any event or wedding at the mill!

uch easier to plan. Amanda also joined us for our rehearsal dinner and wedding day and was so attentive to everything we needed. The venue is a little out of the way, but the scenic waterfall and mill are absolutely worth the drive, and we got amazing compliments from our guests. The venue also has a suite for bridal prep and honeymoon stay, and it is a beautiful and comfortable space. 100% recommend this venue and their amazing staff.
