Y-it Entertainment was the best choice we could have made for our wedding! From the first call we had with the owner Wyatt Hill, the service has been above and beyond. Wyatt provided more than DJ support. He also helped us with our timeline and provided insight that we never even thought about. His service included multiple calls and meetings in addition to whatever we needed so that he made sure he delivered our vision. At the wedding he and his team were flexible to work with any changes that came up. After the wedding we even had a few guests compliment the music and his addition of lights/glow sticks/etc. If we ever host another party in the Santa Barbara area, Y-it Entertainment will be our first choice!

Y-it Entertainment and owner Wyatt Hill are a first class DJ service. From start to finish Wyatt does what he says he is going to do. He coached us through the entire process, was organized and always on time. Wyatt was mindful of wedding size and budget. He went to the private home venue to scope out where we needed sound equipment. Wyatt made recommendations when planning songs and edited a song during our bridal procession. At the wedding itself Wyatt worked to ensure everything was on schedule. After all that everyone who attended our wedding complimented Wyatt and said he had the group popping throughout. I highly recommend this service.

Don’t pass on Y-it Entertainment! Out of all of the vendors that we needed for our wedding – DJ Wyatt was the most outstanding. From the start, he was quick to answer our request for a quote. He was able to work with our budget and didn’t try to push or add unnecessary items. He is very organized and detailed and actually helped us plan our schedule for the wedding day. He talked us into considering and hiring a photographer (no one that he knew). We call him our mini wedding planner :o). Wyatt arrived to the site on time, set up his area and even had time to offer help for other odds and ends. The music he played was exactly what we discussed. He led the cupid shuffle, started the conga line and ended the evening with playing “Shout!” which got everyone on the dance floor. We can’t thank Wyatt enough and are so grateful for his services.

Used Wyatt for our wedding at McCormick Ranch in Camarillo. He was very professional, easy to work with, answers all phone calls and emails, did everything we asked of him and more!

Wyatt was incredibly professional and helped us feel comfortable in the music selection throughout the entire process. His easy to use portal allowed us to upload and tag some of our favorite music, and he we super knowledgeable about wedding timelines since we didn't really have a wedding planner to help direct us. All of our guests said he played hit after hit and although we had quite the weather malfunction, many of us danced long into the night. We loved every minute of it!!!

Wyatt really did an amazing job with our wedding. He was careful to listen to all the things we did and didn't want our DJ to do and did an amazing job coordinating all the different portions of the event (we included a trivia game in our reception and he incorporated it perfectly, reading all the questions, announcing the results, etc.).

COVID threw a last minute curve ball that left us unable to fully appreciate all that Wyatt had to offer, but he was amazing at communicating with us and working with us during a short time frame. I will absolutely consider him first for my next event.

Wyatt provided DJ/MC services for our wedding reception and cocktail hour in Ventura, and we were extremely pleased with his service! He was quick to respond to our questions and requests. He was able to accommodate all of our needs including some obscure music selections, and added even made some final edits and specific music we chose to a 20-minute picture slide show that a family member put together which he also took charge of projecting during the reception. He made great suggestions to help guide us through the planning process, his online interface website was very easy to use, and he was always quick to respond. He even came to our house for an initial meeting to help get things started. We really felt like he got to know us, and our cocktail hour and reception entertainment felt very personalized thanks to his services. Our guests gave us many compliments and we all had a blast and memories for a lifetime. Thank you!

We were so lucky that Wyatt was available to help us on short notice with our wedding reception! He was incredibly responsive and his planning tools really helped us to solidify our ideas on how we wanted the night to flow. We had a very diverse group of guests who all love to dance, but to completely different types of music - Wyatt figured out how to move back and forth between genres to keep everyone engaged, and we got compliments from all sides! He handled every hiccup in the venue setup or timeline with aplomb, and our guests never had any idea we weren't right on plan... even when the "surprise" live band showed up half an hour late and we needed him to cover the gap. A true professional and a pleasure to work with.

As mother of the bride, I was a bundle of nerves on the wedding day. After all the planning, I just wanted it to be fun and run smoothly. Wyatt was responsible for both! He was on it! He didn't miss a beat and kept everything on schedule. And when it came time to dance, he read the crowd like a pro. The dance floor was packed from the first song to the last. We had 170 people of all ages and everyone was dancing. FUN, FUN, FUN! I usually like to provide some constructive criticism, but I honestly can't think of one thing I would ask Wyatt to do differently!

Wyatt has become our family DJ doing multiple weddings. Minen was the most recent and again he did not disappoint. Preparing for the wedding he is great with communication and quick email responses. At the wedding he keeps everyone on the dance floor and does all he can to play all requested songs. Our wedding wouldn't have been the same without all his hard work.

Wyatt and his assistant exceeded our expectations. From the initial booking process to the day of he was on point. I wish I could say the same for our coordinator. Wyatt might as well been our coordinator. He made sure everyone was available for toasts. He lined us up and went over names before introductions. The dance floor was packed for dance time. He played all my requests. If you are looking for the best DJ, Wyatt is your man!

Wyatt crushed it! He was our DJ for our October wedding in Santa Barbara! Some highlights: - Wyatt is super invested and wants to make your experience the best it can be. I didn't feel this way with any of our other vendors (though they were all fantastic). Wyatt just goes above and beyond! - He is incredibly responsive -- loved his timeliness...he makes other vendors seem slow! - His platform for your account is very detailed...and ultimately sets you and him up for success. - Along the way, we upgraded things like the photo booth (so awesome -- get this) and the uplighting. His lighting transformed the venue. - He is very involved. Wyatt has a team -- but Wyatt himself sees to the success of your event. He was just awesome! Highly highly recommend!!

Wyatt is amazing! We got the mirror Photo Booth at our wedding which was a huge hit. All our guests had so much fun taking tons of photos. He had so many fun props to choose from. The days leading up to our wedding he was great at keeping in touch and got back to me quickly to answer my questions. I am so glad we got the mirror photo booth and I will be recommending Wyatt to all my friends and family for events. The biggest thing my (now) wife and I were most concerned about for our wedding was the DJ. We really wanted a professional (I had countless "my buddy will DJ your wedding for cheap" offers from friends), we wanted to not spend a whole bunch of money, and we wanted someone who knew how to get people on the dance floor. Wyatt hit the nail on the head on all those points! He was so professional and responsive with us and he did not disappoint on our wedding day. The dance floor was constantly full of people and our all our guests commented on how awesome the DJ was. Wyatt exceeded our expectations in every way - he absolutely killed it! We used Y-it entertainment for lighting at our venue. the lighting was beautiful and very affordable. We had already hired a DJ by the time we found out about Y-it. Wish we would have used them because the customer service was fantastic.

I am a pretty particular person when it comes to music, so the importance of picking a good wedding DJ rivaled the importance of picking a good caterer for me (don’t tell my wife). I spent a lot of time researching the various options out there and contacted quite a few DJs. After speaking with Wyatt my wife and I were both impressed with his professionalism and the detailed questions he asked us. It is very clear that he knows what he is doing… so we booked him and were not disappointed. You are probably reading all these reviews of Wyatt and thinking that there is no way he can live up to all these 5 star reviews. I can confirm, without reservation, that Wyatt and his team live up to, and exceed, all these reviews. Wyatt lead us through the entire process, provided song and timeline suggestions, worked with our other vendors to make sure our day went off without a hitch. His song choices and transitions were fantastic and really reflected the demographic of our guests. We requested a couple of line-dance type songs and Wyatt even came out to show everyone how to do the moves! Overall, cannot recommend Wyatt enough.

Wyatt was hands down the best DJ and MC for our wedding! From the very first contact, to his professional client portal and the experience of our wedding night went without any issue. Wyatt was exactly what we were searching for when we were looking for a wedding DJ. He is tremendously professional, organized, and made everything tailored fit of us. Leading up to the event we had plenty of opportunities to think about certain songs we wanted (he has a great website that helps with that) and he even met up with us to get to know us before the event. On the day of the wedding, Wyatt did everything great and created the best dance floor in the world! I am not exaggerating when I say the dance floor was packed from the 1st song to the last. Wyatt was amazing through out our time planning as well as during the wedding. He was helpful with EVERY aspect of wedding planning, not just DJ obligations. We decided on Y-it Entertainment after contacting multiple local DJs. Wyatt gave us the best first impression, and he did not disappoint thereafter! From his prompt and proactive communication throughout the months leading up to our wedding, to his comprehensive online portal that made everything simple and streamlined, Wyatt kept us organized and on-track with all of our planning needs. On the day-of, he tracked us down when needed to make sure we stuck to our timeline. He even brought an assistant who helped out by passing around party accessories and videoing nearly the whole evening, while Wyatt was busy turning tables and keeping the energy level high. A videographer for the price of a DJ... whaaaaat?? Speaking of price, Wyatt is worth every penny. Best of all, he's a super nice guy who was a pleasure to do business with. We would absolutely use him again, and we've already recommended him to a couple of our closest friends who are currently engaged. Wyatt is the man!

We honestly couldn't have asked for a better DJ than Wyatt. He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in walking us through the planning process and was unbelievably accommodating as we worked out all the details. All his suggestions were helpful and the effort he put into both helping us pick songs and editing them to fit the portions of the event they were meant for showed top notch attention to detail and going the extra mile to fit our needs. He also ended up providing some extra lighting for us (we held the wedding in our backyard) and arranged it in such a way that matched our theme and feel perfectly. During the event itself he was great about reading the room and making sure everyone was engaged and having a good time without being overbearing or disruptive. He even got out in front and helped lead the group in some line dances which was great and a ton of fun! We would absolutely mention if there was anything about our experience worthy of critique, but neither of us can think of a single area that could have been improved. These guys were awesome and were a pivotal part of the reason why our wedding went so unbelievably smoothly. We would highly, highly recommend them for anyone looking for a solid DJ.

Wyatt and his assistants were all so wonderful. Wyatt was great about keeping me updated on everything and was so flexible through timeline changes and song changes. His pricing was beyond reasonable as well. During the wedding he made sure to check in and make sure we were happy with everything. I would absolutely recommend him for any occasion. My wife and I met with multiple DJs before we found Y-it Entertainment and quickly realized Wyatt is more than a DJ, he and his team are entertainers! From the beginning, Wyatt was enthusiastic, professional, and responsive. We planned our wedding long distance and he always worked with us with times to meet and discuss key elements about our day. Wyatt’s website and software were easy to navigate, well organized, and we had plenty of time to add and subtract songs from our desired playlists. Wyatt also chose great songs to get everyone on the dance floor and keep them there all night! When we needed suggestions about what to play for things like the bouquet toss or the reception entrance, he was spot on and had many different versions of songs to choose from! He was great with helping us see our vision for the night come true. Specifically, we wanted to have a group picture outdoors as our send off and needed uplighting to make that happen. As soon as we mentioned it he started throwing out ideas and we felt very comfortable knowing he was going to do everything in his power to make it happen! He even helped us get video footage through the entire day, from ceremony to reception to send off! Finally, our guests loved the photobooth and are still talking about how much fun it was with the amazing props provided and we loved getting the photo strips of our guests that night! We are so happy and thankful we booked Y-it entertainment and would highly recommend him if you want your day to not just be memorable but extraordinary!

My daughter surprised me and got me a photo booth for my birthday party! That's when I met Wyatt and his team. They where great! He took really good care of us and made the event that much more memorable with his photo booth and stage lighting services! All my guest loved and enjoyed the photo booth, it was a big hit! I went through reviews and promo videos of several DJs before deciding on Wyatt. My husband and I could not have been more pleased. From step 1 of the planning process, he was incredibly detail-oriented and walked us through each milestone step-by-step to make sure everything was perfect. I never once questioned whether he had things covered- he was always on the ball! Set up several pre-planning meetings with us as well. As for the actual event, everything went flawlessly. He arrived early and ensured everything was set-up according to the way we had discussed. Our guests were all dancing like crazy- which is a true testament to Wyatt because my father in law never dances! Wyatt even brought props for guests to use on the dance floor- such a hit! He was an amazing MC.

The perfect DJ! And our review is long overdue! Wyatt DJ'd at our wedding last year, and he and his assistant far exceeded our expectations. Wyatt made sure everything ran smoothly, getting everyone organized during an unexpected delay and keeping us up to date with all of the requests/changes throughout the evening. We began getting complements on the music during dinner, and they continued throughout the evening. Many people (including my dad) mentioned the DJ's professionalism. "He's really good—where did you find him?" was a typical line we heard. He struck exactly the tone we wanted, and leading up to the day was able to sit with us and really get into the details so he knew exactly what music we did (and didn't) want. When a request was made from our "do not play" list, he made sure to check with me personally that it was OK to play. The props were a hit, and in fact made it so memorable that we were recently at a wedding and friends were still commenting on how much fun it was. Wyatt really knows weddings and is superprofessional and accommodating! Me and my husband highly recommend him—this is the DJ you want!!

Wyatt made everything so easy leading up to the wedding date. He is so organized and helpful. We had lots of guests say how awesome he was during and after the reception. He was great at time and people management. He found the holes in our plans and filled them in flawlessly without adding any extra stress to us or our families. If you are in the DC area, make sure you hire Y-It entertainment for you DC/MC needs. Not only is Y-It affordable but they provide top-notch, quality services. Wyatt is extremely knowledgeable, professional and helpful; he will walk you through the whole process. Wyatt was patient and easy to work with. He made last minute changes and last second changes that we required. He worked with our guests, including our Matron of Honor, who had a very special request. My wife and I had one goal for our night; to make our guests party. Wyatt did exactly that. He kept the party going from the moment the party started until the very end. Our guests wanted more at the end of the night. Numerous guests told us that Wyatt was the best DJ they'd ever heard. And we completely agree with them. We couldn't have made a better choice for our DJ.

Wyatt is the best! We had a fantastic time at our wedding! Everyone made wonderful remarks about how awesome Wyatt was and how smoothly everything ran. He had props to help get people dancing and having a good time! Our wedding ranged from 2 year olds to 80 year olds and all were dancing and having a blast! I could not have asked for more! Wyatt was awesome, he dealt with me changing the timing of his arrival. He arrived early, and even had an extension cord for us to use. He has SO MANY PROPS, good quality ones not the cheap laminated signs, which is amazing.

3500 characters is not enough to describe Y It Entertainment. By far, our favorite vendor from our wedding! Wyatt is not just a DJ- he does SO much more. When we first met with Wyatt, my husband and I both instantly knew that he was our DJ- he was the only vendor we picked without "interviewing" with anybody else (we met with around 10 venue representatives, around 6 florists, and around 6 photographers- just throwing that in for comparison). We met a few other DJs at a bridal expo but didn't want to interview them because we knew Wyatt could provide exactly what we wanted- a party! Wyatt is very organized from start to finish. His online tools were such huge help from forming an overall timeline (which was then used by our venue, photographer, and videographer) to picking songs that we definitely wanted played at the wedding, wanted played if they could be, did not want played, etc. After the initial booking, we were instantly given access to the online tools so that we could start picking songs and telling Wyatt about our wedding. We then had a second meeting, at which we went over details like name pronunciations and our choices of songs that we had already picked online. We were unsure about some song choices but Wyatt gave us ideas and suggestions and played songs for us at our meeting to help us decide. He had a great idea to use a remix of one of my and my husband's favorite songs which isn't exactly popular and is more alternative/rock-ish as our introduction songs! We hadn't even thought of doing that but we loved the remix so much- it was just enough of that pump-up that we were looking for- it made the song and our intro so special. At our final meeting, I was getting more nervous about the event but Wyatt kept re-assuring us that everything was going to be fine and that he will take care of it so that our wedding is just as we had imagined it. The meeting was at a local bar with drinks and food- it was great and definitely took some of the stress off! I trusted Wyatt and I knew that he would make our wedding great. Beside the 3 in-person meetings, Wyatt was in touch with us via email throughout the whole process: to let us know of upcoming meetings or answer any questions we had, and even give us that push we needed to pick the songs that we were still missing. We never had to chase after him, he always reached out first. The service that we received from Wyatt at the actual wedding was absolutely perfect. Not one thing went wrong, not one thing was a surprise. Wyatt's up-lighting made the room absolutely GLOW in our color scheme- it was magical! The music we picked was played and the rest was picked by Wyatt- and every song was perfectly chosen. I had some Russian songs that I wanted played as I am Russian and Wyatt played all the songs that were requested- even mixed them up to make them more upbeat. I was afraid that it would be awkward for the English speaking guests- but it wasn't! Even those who knew no Russian didn't get off the dance floor- every single guest was dancing to English and to Russian music and every one was enjoying the party. Our guests are STILL telling us about how great it was to hear Russian music- everyone thought it was unique and some even asked me where I found a Russian DJ! The props that were provided were so fun- every one from age 5 to 65 was on the dance floor and everyone had a blast. We also loved the disco lights for the dance floor! We love Wyatt and highly recommend him!!!

Wyatt was a wonderful DJ at our wedding! He was professional, kept people dancing, and thoroughly entertained. The guests are still raving about how wonderful the music list was. He kept the guests entertained so well that no one noticed any of the normal issues that arise throughout the evening (missing toast glasses, transportation snaffos). He was well worth the money! Wyatt was an absolute joy to work with! We met with several different DJ vendors and none compared to Yit Entertainment. He has all the same equipment and skill sets but much more affordable. He was an absolute professional throughout the entire process and worked with us to add some services towards the end. He even took some very last minute modifications to the schedule in stride. Wyatt really cared about making our day as special as we had hoped and envisioned. I received nothing but raving compliments from our guests of the great time they had and how wonderful Wyatt was. The photo booth was a HUGE hit!! And the transitional uplighting he set up created a fantastic ambiance and really added to the look of the reception. He kept everyone dancing and in great spirits all night. He even went one step above and matched his tie to our wedding colors!
