We truly could not have asked for a better DJ for our wedding! From the ceremony all the way through the last song of the night, everything was absolutely perfect. The music flowed seamlessly throughout every part of the day, and once the reception started, the dance floor was packed all night long!
One of the things that stood out to us most was how intentional and detail-oriented he was throughout the entire process. He took the time to really understand the atmosphere we wanted to create, our music preferences, and all of the little details that were important to us. Nothing felt generic or like we were just another wedding on his calendar. You could genuinely tell how much thought and preparation he put into making sure every part of the day felt personal to us and flowed exactly the way it should.
He completely understood the vibe we were going for and played the perfect mix of songs to keep everyone dancing. Our guests had an absolute blast, and we had so many people tell us afterward how great the music was. The dance floor stayed full all night, and we honestly weren’t ready for the night to end!
Beyond the music, he was incredibly professional, organized, attentive, and easy to work with. His attention to detail gave us so much confidence going into the wedding because we knew everything was taken care of. On the day of, we never had to worry about what was coming next because he kept everything moving smoothly while still making the entire night feel natural and fun.
Our wedding day exceeded every expectation we had, and he was such a huge part of making it as fun and memorable as it was. If you’re looking for a DJ who is not only going to keep your dance floor packed, but who genuinely cares about your wedding, pays attention to every detail, and is intentional about creating an experience that feels like you, we cannot recommend him enough. 100/10 — we would choose him again in a heartbeat!

Wyatt has a lifelong love for all kinds of music. In 2002, he made his passion into a professional career with equipment rentals to DJs and radio stations in the Ventura County area. Wyatt became a club disc jockey and then expanded his experience to include corporate events and private parties. After a stint in Washington, DC, he returned to the West Coast in 2017. He performed at weddings there until he moved back to the East Coast, landing in Jacksonville, NC.
Y-it Entertainment offers wedding DJ coverage as well as MC services, recorded music, and the use of sound equipment. This team also provides lighting equipment. Your DJ can perform at your rehearsal, wedding ceremony, reception, and after-party.

Wyatt has always shared a passion for music of all types. He began his professional career in 2002 renting equipment to radio stations and DJs in the Ventura County area and moved into the club DJ scene but, soon took his knowledge and experience to another level, successfully performing at a wide variety of corporate events and private parties. Wyatt moved away to Washington, D.C. where he started performing at weddings. Wyatt then returned back to the West Coast in 2017 bringing coast to coast experience. He is now back on the East Coast in North Carolina. He loves to play great party tracks from all decades as well as the best of Latin.

Day of, everything flowed amazingly. From the ceremony, to cocktail hour, throughout the reception Wyatt didn't miss a beat. He sends reminders and tips for wedding planning leading up to your day, is easy to communicate with if you have any questions or concerns, and best of all he has a great sense of humor. We made changes to our day of flow constantly the week of the wedding, with some changes being literally right before the reception - he rolled with the punches. Multiple guests of ours said he was the best part of the night. The props were a hit and the music was perfected. As a Bride I can't recommend him enough.

He made great suggestions to help guide us through the planning process, his online interface website was very easy to use, and he was always quick to respond. He even came to our house for an initial meeting to help get things started. We really felt like he got to know us, and our cocktail hour and reception entertainment felt very personalized thanks to his services. I am a pretty particular person when it comes to music, so the importance of picking a good wedding DJ rivaled the importance of picking a good caterer for me (don’t tell my wife)....
I spent a lot of time researching the various options out there and contacted quite a few DJs. After speaking with Wyatt my wife and I were both impressed with his professionalism and the detailed questions he asked us. It is very clear that he knows what he is doing… so we booked him and were not disappointed. You are probably reading all these reviews of Wyatt and thinking that there is no way he can live up to all these 5 star reviews. I can confirm, without reservation, that Wyatt and his team live up to, and exceed, all these reviews.
Wyatt lead us through the entire process, provided song and timeline suggestions, worked with our other vendors to make sure our day went off without a hitch. His song choices and transitions were fantastic and really reflected the demographic of our guests. We requested a couple of line-dance type songs and Wyatt even came out to show everyone how to do the moves! Overall, cannot recommend Wyatt enough.

We honestly couldn't have asked for a better DJ than Wyatt. He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in walking us through the planning process and was unbelievably accommodating...
as we worked out all the details. All his suggestions were helpful and the effort he put into both helping us pick songs and editing them to fit the portions of the event they were meant for showed top notch attention to detail and going the extra mile to fit our needs. He also ended up providing some extra lighting for us (we held the wedding in our backyard) and arranged it in such a way that matched our theme and feel perfectly.
During the event itself he was great about reading the room and making sure everyone was engaged and having a good time without being overbearing or disruptive. He even got out in front and helped lead the group in some line dances which was great and a ton of fun!
We would absolutely mention if there was anything about our experience worthy of critique, but neither of us can think of a single area that could have been improved. These guys were awesome and were a pivotal part of the reason why our wedding went so unbelievably smoothly. We would highly, highly recommend them for anyone looking for a solid DJ.

tt was enthusiastic, professional, and responsive. We planned our wedding long distance and he always worked with us with times to meet and discuss key elements about our day. Wyatt’s website and software were easy to navigate, well organized, and we had plenty of time to add and subtract songs from our desired playlists.
Wyatt also chose great songs to get everyone on the dance floor and keep them there all night! When we needed suggestions about what to play for things like the bouquet toss or the reception entrance, he was spot on and had many different versions of songs to choose from! He was great with helping us see our vision for the night come true. Specifically, we wanted to have a group picture outdoors as our send off and needed uplighting to make that happen. As soon as we mentioned it he started throwing out ideas and we felt very comfortable knowing he was going to do everything in his power to make it
happen! He even helped us get video footage through the entire day, from ceremony to reception to send off! Finally, our guests loved the photobooth and are still talking about how much fun it was with the amazing props provided and we loved getting the photo strips of our guests that night!
We are so happy and thankful we booked Y-it entertainment and would highly recommend him if you want your day to not just be memorable but extraordinary!
