Before I was engaged, I already knew I needed him to be at our wedding. He brings all of his own equipment even if the venue has everything there, because he doesn't want to rely on anyone else having what he needs. Another favorite part is that he always has music videos playing during the songs which adds a whole new level to the fun on the dance floor. Highly recommend!

make sure everything was set up in time, however there were other details that make us hesitant to recommend his services to others. For example, he mispronounced most the names of our wedding party (including bride's maiden name) despite asking for phonetic spelling, did not announce late night snack or photo booth after being requested, as well as did not reply to the MOG or our wedding planner about a request for the lighting, and advertised his services as one price for all night but then asked to be paid for extra time. In addition, he also informed us we would receive copies of all photos from the photo booth as well as pictures from the reception, however after reaching out to him 3 times regarding the photos and only receiving 1 reply that he would deliver them by Thanksgiving, we have not received any photos or additional communication 4 months after the wedding. We are disappointed as we had a great time on the dance floor and enjoyed the mix of music he played, but due to these other details, we don't know that we would use his services again.

He made sure everything during the entire wedding ceremony and Reception ran smoothly and worked so well with our other vendors. Our entire dance floor was packed with people all night and our guests really enjoyed the Photo Booth as well! The video Kody made for us was a huge surprise and getting to watch it at the reception was truly special! I am so glad we had the chance to work with him and it really did make the entire evening amazing

Kody created a special voice over of me speaking to my groom just before I walked down the aisle. Many compliments were received and it was a great surprise for all. He was also wonderful to work with during the planning process and made preparations simple for us. Finally, Kody created a surprise video of the day for us and our guests to watch during the dance. A truly different DJ experience - elevated to the next level and beyond anything else you will see in the industry. We cannot recommend Kody enough!

really stemmed from Corey keeping the party hyped all night long! The dance floor was always packed and the photo booth was fun as well. One of the most unique aspects was the “dancing on clouds” effect he offered for our first dance which literally made it look like we were dancing on clouds. My favorite part was the end of wedding video he provided with our vows playing over the top. That was so special and done very well! There was no need for a videographer because of this and he did it all during the wedding and played it for the party at the very end. Overall I couldn’t recommend Corey and Yo DJ enough!

From the planning stages to the day of, everything was addressed and went off without a hitch. There were even a few surprises thrown in too that we will cherish forever. He also put together a little slideshow at the end of the night with some recap pictures that was so cool. A few weeks after our wedding, Corey sent us a flash drive with almost 200 extra pictures and captured small video clips of all the important moments! We didn't have a videographer so it was absolutely amazing to get to watch those videos of our first dance, the speeches, our dances with our parents, and others. Corey went above and beyond our expectations and provided us with the best service I could have asked for! I would HIGHLY recommend Corey!

and fun. We couldn't have made a better decision. Corey is super cool and wants your day to be about you. Anything he can do to make that happen he will certainly try to accommodate. My husband and I are quite nerdy so we had some unique music choices and a few extra things we wanted to have in our ceremony and reception and Corey and James provided it all. James did our ceremony music and he did wonderfully even when we threw him off with our first kiss, oops! They choose music to fill before the wedding from Lord of the rings which was fun as well and everyone loved that we walked out of the ceremony to the Indiana Jones theme song and that our kiss was signaled by the Final Fantasy Victory Fanfare all made possible by Corey and James. All of this was possible due to Yo DJ. When the reception started we asked Corey if he could play the T.A.R.D.I.S. noise(from Doctor who) to signal we had arrived. It was great! Corey and James kept the reception moving through speeches, our d20 dice kissing game, and letting our guests know what was going to happen for dinner. Corey even made sure all our bridal party had drinks and dessert and when my husband asked for a dessert, Corey got him a plateful of choices! Talk about going above and beyond your job requirement. When my husband and I were looking for a DJ we wanted someone who wouldn't force people to the dance floor or take over the reception because we weren't sure if our crowd would be a dancing crowd or not. Corey was sneaky because he called everyone to the dance floor to get a group photo and then started to play music right away and because guests were already on the dance floor, several stayed to dance. We had such a blast. Our friends who never really dance at weddings were on the dance floor all night. We had games for people to play, but everyone was having such a good time either dancing or watching the dancing no one used them! That to me speaks volumes to their skill and ability. Our first dance was really special and the father daughter dance was made even more special by having a recorded message by me played during the dance to my parents. My parents were so surprised. Corey took requests from our guests and interacted just enough! They were professional while also being very fun. Our friends were recovering for days from all the fun! Everyone loved having Yo DJ Entertainment at the reception. I honestly cannot thank them enough for the memories they provided for us. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone for any event you might need a DJ for. They are wonderful and will make your day all about you and your fiance and they will go above and beyond to do it. I would highly recommend them!
