Yo DJ Entertainment

verything so easy, and his app for planning the day and building playlists is seriously a lifesaver. It took so much stress off my shoulders and made the whole process actually enjoyable. On the wedding day, he kept us perfectly on track, handled every announcement flawlessly, and brought the PARTY!!! I felt so relaxed knowing he had everything under control. Our guests raved about the music and the energy all night long. I couldn’t recommend Kody enough. If you’re thinking about booking him—just do it. You won’t regret it!

an exceptional DJ, but also a phenomenal host—bringing energy, fun, and a warm, engaging presence to the entire evening. She created such a memorable experience for us and our guests, who haven’t stopped raving about her since. We honestly couldn’t have asked for anything more. Absolutely amazing!

up and asked for his card (very out of character for my introverted husband). Corey was perfect from start to end, with his warm and professional first impression at our planning sessions to creating the most beautiful final video of our wedding to share with our guests THE SAME DAY at the reception. Highly recommend, no hesitation. Even guests have reached out complimenting our DJ saying how awesome he was and how perfect the music was. Needless to say, the dance floor was packed all night. Thank you Corey!

hly recommend booking YO DJ, thank you Corey for making our special day such a blast!

long, he went above and beyond. Everyone was raving about him—our guests, parents, even the little kids were out there dancing. He made everything feel seamless, fun, and stress-free. If you’re looking for someone professional, easy to work with, and insanely good at reading a crowd—Corey is your guy. Truly one of the best decisions we made for our wedding!

e times we needed to make sure everything went smooth. Wedding ceremony walk-in songs / grand entrance songs / grand march songs / and all the requests, he had it all lined up! 🧡 Our guest were so impressed also! Thank you!!

e was kind, professional, responsive, and genuinely excited to help make our day unforgettable. He assured us that we would be in good hands and that we’d have nothing to worry about… and he was not wrong! Leading up to the wedding, Corey went above and beyond. He took time to get to know us, asking thoughtful questions about our musical tastes and our vision for the ceremony and reception. He offered great suggestions, was incredibly organized throughout, and was willing to meet with us as much as we needed. Planning with him felt easy and fun. On our wedding day, Corey absolutely crushed it! He arrived early, handled setup smoothly, and coordinated with our venue and other vendors without us even needing to worry. Everything from the from the ceremony processionals to the last dance was perfectly timed and tailored to us. He also did a great job making announcements for our guests and getting them involved. The energy was just right at every point in the evening, and Corey kept the dance floor going all night long. Corey wasn’t just playing music—he was creating an unforgettable experience for us and for our guests. We couldn’t be more grateful to Corey for helping make our wedding the most incredible celebration. We knew he would be an amazing DJ, but he definitely exceeded our expectations. If you're looking for someone who brings both talent and heart to your wedding day, Corey is the one!

ter our wedding. I would recommend YoDJ for any event.

calls, messages etc to make sure you feel great about the plan. His friendly, funny and bubbly personality is welcoming to guests and his uncanny ability to read the crowd keeps them happy and on the dance floor. Im always excited to be at a wedding or event that he is working.

ultiple zoom meetings to make sure he got the full picture of exactly what we were looking for. I knew James beforehand, and have been to multiple events he was at. Before I was engaged, I already knew I needed him to be at our wedding. He brings all of his own equipment even if the venue has everything there, because he doesn't want to rely on anyone else having what he needs. Another favorite part is that he always has music videos playing during the songs which adds a whole new level to the fun on the dance floor. Highly recommend!

make sure everything was set up in time, however there were other details that make us hesitant to recommend his services to others. For example, he mispronounced most the names of our wedding party (including bride's maiden name) despite asking for phonetic spelling, did not announce late night snack or photo booth after being requested, as well as did not reply to the MOG or our wedding planner about a request for the lighting, and advertised his services as one price for all night but then asked to be paid for extra time. In addition, he also informed us we would receive copies of all photos from the photo booth as well as pictures from the reception, however after reaching out to him 3 times regarding the photos and only receiving 1 reply that he would deliver them by Thanksgiving, we have not received any photos or additional communication 4 months after the wedding. We are disappointed as we had a great time on the dance floor and enjoyed the mix of music he played, but due to these other details, we don't know that we would use his services again.

y listened to all of our requests and made our reception a blast! The dance floor was full all night! I couldn't have asked for a better DJ for our wedding. We highly recommend Corey with YoDJ!

edible ability to read the crowd and play the perfect songs, keeping everyone on the dancefloor all night long. He was so easygoing and personable that by the end of the weekend, he felt like part of the family. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about how fun and engaging he was. If you’re looking for a DJ who truly cares about making your event special, James is your guy!

! He also orchestrates your day w/ the other vendors. Book Corey, listen to Corey, and don't worry about anything else on your wedding day!!

had our wedding and the choice was obvious to choose Corey of Yo DJ. I knew I wanted him for our wedding when I saw the extra mile he goes for his customers. Corey isn’t only a DJ but he is an extra hand in everything he does. He is there to help anywhere he can and make sure that your day goes as smooth and perfect as possible. Corey’s attention to detail, music choice to the crowd and his energy is top notch! Believe me he is the DJ you want! Thank you for everything Corey!

He was so organized in the planning process, was always very responsive and worked so well with all of our vendors! He made our day perfect! 10/10!

ilored to our requests! He also took the time to checked in with us throughout our wedding to make sure we were happy with the music! I would highly recommended booking Yo DJ for any event!

r was packed! My goal for my wedding was for everyone to have a great time and he made that happen. He knew what songs to play to get everyone on the dance floor and it could not have been better. 10/10 recommend for everyone! Thank you Corey!

ing track of all of the songs we wanted throughout the day and was flexible with making changes. On the day of, he did a great job of keeping people on the dance floor all night. His set up is also pretty epic, including music videos playing on screens near his DJ booth with all the songs he played throughout the night and was a big hit with our party.

there was an app we got to pick out my music and organize it! We had a video chat to finalize everything about a month before the wedding. He made sure everything during the entire wedding ceremony and Reception ran smoothly and worked so well with our other vendors. Our entire dance floor was packed with people all night and our guests really enjoyed the Photo Booth as well! The video Kody made for us was a huge surprise and getting to watch it at the reception was truly special! I am so glad we had the chance to work with him and it really did make the entire evening amazing

announcements, speeches, and of course the dance. Our dance floor was packed and grooving the entire night! Kody created a special voice over of me speaking to my groom just before I walked down the aisle. Many compliments were received and it was a great surprise for all. He was also wonderful to work with during the planning process and made preparations simple for us. Finally, Kody created a surprise video of the day for us and our guests to watch during the dance. A truly different DJ experience - elevated to the next level and beyond anything else you will see in the industry. We cannot recommend Kody enough!

really stemmed from Corey keeping the party hyped all night long! The dance floor was always packed and the photo booth was fun as well. One of the most unique aspects was the “dancing on clouds” effect he offered for our first dance which literally made it look like we were dancing on clouds. My favorite part was the end of wedding video he provided with our vows playing over the top. That was so special and done very well! There was no need for a videographer because of this and he did it all during the wedding and played it for the party at the very end. Overall I couldn’t recommend Corey and Yo DJ enough!

what to look for in a DJ, but I can say with confidence that we made the right choice. Everything exceeded our expectations. From the planning stages to the day of, everything was addressed and went off without a hitch. There were even a few surprises thrown in too that we will cherish forever. Honestly, words truly can't express our gratitude for Kody for making our day truly unforgettable!

ransaction. It felt as if we were hiring a family member to be our DJ. Corey goes to bat for you on your wedding day! He has amazing playlists that include many different styles and genres, he's got all the technology to wow your guests, and he knows exactly how to entertain a crowd. I'll hire these guys again and again without hesitation because they truly care about their customer's experience! Thank you Corey and the entire Yo DJ team for making our wedding something truly special!

ed with him a week or so before the wedding to finalize all the details, so the music was tailored to our requests. James checked in with us throughout the night and was very helpful for those that were giving speeches. He instructed how to use and hold the microphone relieving some of their stress. From start to finish he helped us make the day special and made sure everything went well so that we could relax and enjoy the party. We would recommend using Yo Dj to anyone looking for a polished, professional, and fun DJ to add to whatever kind of party you’re planning.

the personal touches were a hit the day of! They even captured video and pictures throughout the reception that we will cherish forever! Easily the most people on a dance floor at a wedding I've been to (though it was mine so I may be biased) ever! 5/5 stars and then some - you cannot go wrong with these guys they really ensured our day was a success and so much fun for both us and our guests!

hen the time came. My husband and I couldn’t have imagined the evening going any better. They kept everyone engaged throughout the evening and we got so many compliments at the music choice and how professional, fun, and they kept the night moving smoothly. Communication and planning was effortless and I am thankful at how easy and smooth it went throughout the planning. Everyone had so much fun throughout. So many thanks to Nicole, Cami, and Yo DJ!

y compliments on how fun our dance floor was all night! Thank you so much to the YoDJ team!!

round yourself with, not the amount. Your character is definitely someone we want around. Though everyone bailed, we did had the best time and got to actually enjoy ourselves. Your guidance and professionalism is unmatched, thank you for helping make our day special! P.S. Grease 2 is where it's at.

ys there already think of the question we had to ask him before we even had to look for him throughout the night! The mirror photo booth they had was also a huge hit and we loved seeing the photos afterwards!

s during our dance that was the perfect touch to our night.

the correct areas. He was great at communicating and working with the other vendors. It was almost if I hired all my vendors together at a team. You can really tell that Yo DJ has a lot of experience with weddings and events. I really liked the team concept of DJ service. 3 workers came and all helped out in different ways keeping the wedding running smoothly. The entertainment was great and the guests had a lot of fun. They also offer unique personalized touches to help make your event truly one of a kind. I highly recommend them!

ight came when we got back from pictures - I asked if there was anything we could help with, he shook his head no and said "I'm ready to get this party started." The absolute perfect DJ experience!

of cool photos! Their photobooth was an awesome add on that was a huge hit! 100% recommend!

Entertainment for any event.

or buzzing the whole night (he even threw the Packer game on the TVs!). We would highly recommend working with Kody - he kept things simple for us while delivering a top notch experience. We continue to get compliments on how great our DJ was, and we absolutely agree!

we had a few video chats and he had great suggestions for better transitions between events. Day of the wedding he had a sweet looking set up and screens to play music videos on. He kept lots of people on the dance floor ALL night (not even exaggerating). When we sat down for dinner, he even went around and got us all drinks at the bar since most of us hadn't had time to stop and get one. We got so many compliments on how great our DJ was. I highly recommend Yo DJ for any event! James really made our special day amazing and I cannot sing his and Yo DJ's praises enough! Please consider working with them - they are amazing!!!

reate moments that I will never forget. And I will never have to because all photos and videos from the evening were provided to us on a convenient USB drive. I will never forget the surprise towards the end of the evening. Corey pulled my husband and I onto the dance floor with our crowd surrounding and played a video that he put together of the day! Magic, schere magic. I have watched it many times over and cannot help but let the happy tears flow. If you haven’t already booked a DJ for your event, look no further. If you want a day which will forever be one to remember, what are you waiting for?

njoy our day. He even offered to get us drinks and dessert while dinner was happening! Would definitely recommend to anyone in need of a DJ service, you will not be disappointed!

made it that long. Absolutely stunning work.

onable and easy going, which made it easy to discuss our wedding ideas and prepare for the big day with him. His experience shows as he was very knowledgeable and prepared for our wedding day, which was immensely helpful for Brandon and I. He helped us create some personal touches to the reception/dance that really made the night more meaningful than it already was. We received so many compliments from family and friends about our DJ. Our wedding venue and photographers also said Corey’s preparedness for the day was the best they had seen and made the day go smoothly. I had a great experience with Corey from Yo-DJ and would highly recommend him to anyone who asks!

always responded to my emails or messages. He kept people out on the dance floor all night, and called people over to the dance floor when we played the 'shoe game' and had our first dance. He also put together a little slideshow at the end of the night with some recap pictures that was so cool. A few weeks after our wedding, Corey sent us a flash drive with almost 200 extra pictures and captured small video clips of all the important moments! We didn't have a videographer so it was absolutely amazing to get to watch those videos of our first dance, the speeches, our dances with our parents, and others. Corey went above and beyond our expectations and provided us with the best service I could have asked for! I would HIGHLY recommend Corey!

and fun. We couldn't have made a better decision. Corey is super cool and wants your day to be about you. Anything he can do to make that happen he will certainly try to accommodate. My husband and I are quite nerdy so we had some unique music choices and a few extra things we wanted to have in our ceremony and reception and Corey and James provided it all. James did our ceremony music and he did wonderfully even when we threw him off with our first kiss, oops! They choose music to fill before the wedding from Lord of the rings which was fun as well and everyone loved that we walked out of the ceremony to the Indiana Jones theme song and that our kiss was signaled by the Final Fantasy Victory Fanfare all made possible by Corey and James. All of this was possible due to Yo DJ. When the reception started we asked Corey if he could play the T.A.R.D.I.S. noise(from Doctor who) to signal we had arrived. It was great! Corey and James kept the reception moving through speeches, our d20 dice kissing game, and letting our guests know what was going to happen for dinner. Corey even made sure all our bridal party had drinks and dessert and when my husband asked for a dessert, Corey got him a plateful of choices! Talk about going above and beyond your job requirement. When my husband and I were looking for a DJ we wanted someone who wouldn't force people to the dance floor or take over the reception because we weren't sure if our crowd would be a dancing crowd or not. Corey was sneaky because he called everyone to the dance floor to get a group photo and then started to play music right away and because guests were already on the dance floor, several stayed to dance. We had such a blast. Our friends who never really dance at weddings were on the dance floor all night. We had games for people to play, but everyone was having such a good time either dancing or watching the dancing no one used them! That to me speaks volumes to their skill and ability. Our first dance was really special and the father daughter dance was made even more special by having a recorded message by me played during the dance to my parents. My parents were so surprised. Corey took requests from our guests and interacted just enough! They were professional while also being very fun. Our friends were recovering for days from all the fun! Everyone loved having Yo DJ Entertainment at the reception. I honestly cannot thank them enough for the memories they provided for us. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone for any event you might need a DJ for. They are wonderful and will make your day all about you and your fiance and they will go above and beyond to do it. I would highly recommend them!
