not very good at posing for photos and neither is my husband, but he guided us through it and we got some amazing photos from him! He even sent us a preview of some of the photos we had the night of the wedding which really impressed me, especially with how beautiful they were. He was so kind to me when something went wrong and he immediately helped me to calm down and remain positive, and everything ended up working out! He was adaptable, dependable, and not to mention very talented and fun to be around. He also had done a wedding at the venue we chose which is another reason why I hired him, I had complete trust in him and his ability. I’ve never looked more beautiful than in these photos and I cannot recommend him enough to others, we loved working with him! I wish I could include photos, but for some reason the knot won’t let me. However, I also left a google review with photos if that helps!

fun and easygoing. He captured little moments (both at the engagement shoot and on our wedding day) that I didn’t even realize he was capturing, and now those pictures are some of my favorite photos! His attention to detail is remarkable!! He is very understanding and listened to my husband’s and I’s requests for pictures and delivered. He takes so much pride in his works and it shows!! Scott has a unique ability to fade into the party and capture moments rather than posed photos. Looking back at our wedding photos, you feel like a guest at the party because they are so natural and organic. Also, Scott and his second shooter (Naomi) felt more like friends attending our wedding. They made sure that we ate, spent time together during the chaos, and got time to really ENJOY our day. If you don't read any more of this review, we honestly couldn't recommend them enough if you're still looking for a wedding photographer! We hired Scott for engagement photos (they turned out amazing; did them in Bishop Arts which Scott knows super well), and then wedding photography + videography. Something funny that gave us confidence early on that we had made a great decision, was during our engagement session actually running into a couple who had recently attended a wedding that Scott had shot. They interrupted our, probably, awkward couples' glancing to gush over how good Scott's photos were, which are obviously the types of comments you want to hear from random people on the street about your photographer while he's taking photos of you! Other things worth mentioning…Communication prior to the wedding was never an issue - Scott always responded via email or text, even if to let you know he couldn't respond properly at the time - and we had a thorough call about day-of expectations and timeline. On the actual wedding day, he and his team were there early, stayed later due to a weather delay, and were all around incredible at doing their job. What we ended up noticing and appreciating the most was their creativity and adaptability. It ended up raining a few hours before our (outdoor) ceremony, which for us was also right when the First Look/other group photos were scheduled, so Scott & team had to get really creative with location and lighting since we couldn't do anything outside. Amazingly, some of our favorite photos came out of these moments! But we know it was due to the know-how, vision, and flexibility of Scott & team, which are qualities you definitely want in your wedding photographers. Post wedding, we got our preview gallery at 3am the morning after and the video trailer within 2 days (all insane timing), which were SO fun to have quickly and get to relive with each other & family/friends. We got the full gallery ~3 weeks after (love them), and at this point have zero doubts the video won't be just as wonderful as everything else! Scott and team truly captured the magic of our day, had fun with us in the process, and delivered above & beyond service! Thank you again!

He captured so many meaningful moments, glances, and emotions. There were pictures he got of me and my dad that made me cry. I can’t stop looking through them because he captured the beauty and emotion of our day so well. He also did a killer job photographing the dance party at our reception- soo many cool photos of my husband and me, as well as our guests, having a blast on the dance floor! On top of our photos truly being perfection, Scott and Naomi were an absolute blast to work with. My bridal party and I had so much fun with them (my bridesmaids and I are still texting about our photo shoot antics from that day). My husband and I felt soo at ease to be ourselves under their direction. They are just great people who care about capturing your day exactly how you want it, and I could not be more happy that they were able to shoot our wedding. Also, I should note that Scott was incredibly flexible and accommodating with our timeline. We had a catholic wedding during the day, so our wedding day was pretty long. We hired him for the full day, and he was like “I’ll show up whenever you want me there.” When looking for photographers, I found that most photographers (besides Scott) had a strict number of hours they’d do and then you had to pay quite a bit more by the hour. In the wedding planning process where there were so many hidden/extra costs, it was so refreshing to find someone who was so accommodating with our schedule.

He did such an amazing job with editing our engagement pictures and we were blown away with the pictures from our wedding night. Our guests were so impressed and my friend is contacting him about his availability for her wedding because every picture was breathtaking. We are in the process of making our wedding album now and viewing the compilation of photos in one book made me feel like a princess.

e best decision I made for my wedding. Planning a wedding across the country is extremely stressful, but Scott made as much as he could as easy as possible for me leading up to my big day. On the day of my wedding Scott and Naomi absolutely blew me, my husband, the wedding party, and even our guests away with their preparedness, kindness, and servitude. Any small thing that happened, Scott and Naomi were prepared for it. They both went above and beyond to make sure my wedding was absolutely perfect in all aspects. On top of the amazing service they provide, the pictures are absolutely stunning. Yoder and Co. is so much more than just an exceptional wedding photography business and they are worth every single penny and more.
