I shoot cinematic, emotional, and wildly good-looking photos for people who actually like each other. You'll look back at the photos I take years from now, and say, "dammit, we looked way better back then."
My style lives somewhere between editorial and documentary - guided, not forced. I’ll tell you where to stand, but I won’t tell you how to feel. The best moments happen when you forget the camera is there. I love being friends with my clients, and all of their guests - it's the best way to get authentic photos.
I specialize in engagements, elopements, and weddings for couples who value vibe, story, and photos that still hit 20 years from now. Outdoors, cities, mountaintops, beaches, courthouses, small closets, I'm there.

Hi I’m Wayne, photographer located in Los Angeles. I cofounded Wondery Outdoors, a brand built around adventure and storytelling - which accidentally turned photography into a job. Eventually, that made me want to chuck my camera off a cliff. So now I’m back to shooting in a way that feels more like me.
Here’s the truth: anyone can take decent photos now. Phones are smart. Cameras are smarter. Every photographers about me bio is some overly poetic crap about “I want to make you feel something.” So while I still want that, my whole thing is making you feel f**king great about hiring me. I want you to feel the the comfort and the shitty jokes that makes you feel like you’re talking to grandpa, but younger, and asian, and with a camera.
When I’m not shooting, I’m probably rock climbing, road-tripping, playing board games, eating way too much KBBQ, journaling, getting way too competitive in Toy Story Mania (IYKYK), water coloring, or drinking Topo Chico like it’s my main personality trait (it is).
