The design and taste of my wedding cake was immaculate and guests were raving about it for the entire night. I had a rather large wedding, requiring a large cake and several sheet cakes to feed everyone. Although my cake was of large quantity, this did not effect the quality of each layer. We ended up going with the lemon blueberry cake with cheese cream frosting. Since the wedding I have been hearing NON STOP how amazing the cake was. They delivered the cake to the venue, placed my heirloom cake toppers on the cake and placed some flowers strategically on the cake for a little pop of color. We had the best time testing the cake at the shop and even got to take the rest of the samples home with us for the rest of the family to try! I will be using Yunita from now on. Luckily I had an amazing coordinator who knew what I ordered and noticed that it was the wrong cake and was able to get a hold of her to drop of the correct cake. Additionally, our favorite flavor of cupcakes was never delivered and my coordinator was told that we didn’t order that flavor even though she was looking at an invoice with that listed. Everything tasted great, but we almost didn’t get what we ordered or have enough to feed our guests.

lemon cake & filling, and the cookies & cream filling were the favorites. From the tasting to the big day, Yunita was so easy to work with, open to our ideas, and extremely professional. Of all the choices we made for our wedding, this was by far the best (minus each other, obviously!)
I loved the ability to rent a cake stand OR buy our own and she was very good at guiding us on what work or what wouldn’t. We ended up renting because our bridal cake was massive (we expected 180 guests.) Yunita did a wonderful job of explaining how much cake we would need and at the end of the night, we only had about a 1/3 of one tier and 2/5 of another left (which we snacked for four days!)
At our tasting, Yunita had a tablet with examples of other work she had done but also looked at some of the photos we had brought in. My groom really wanted a Batman cake but had a few different ideas. Yunita was able to put them together flawlessly and his cake turned out just nerdy enough!

But after working with her it is her personality compared to other cake bakers that make is so that she is not just someone that I will recommend for wedding cakes. If I have to plan a party for someone else, if I ever have a baby that needs a birthday cake, if I need a cake for an event, she will be the person making it because she becomes a friend when she makes a cake for you. Seriously, go to a meeting with her about your wedding cake and try to not like her because you will leave wondering if you should invite her to your wedding and have her set with your family.

a wonderful impression on us and gave us heartfelt advice/ideas for our cake that made us decide that day that we would want her to make our wedding cake. During the tasting, she provided us with several different fillings and flavors, all of which were AMAZING. She absolutely nailed the design I had in mind and paired it with a very beautiful cake stand. After the wedding, we got several compliments on the cake from our wedding guests, saying how it wasn’t just beautiful but also super moist and delicious. We chose not to save our top layer but I do plan on contacting Yunita later on in the year for a little anniversary cake. She will be the baker we plan to use for any future cake needs for our family. I would highly recommend her to anyone!!

I got so many compliments on how delicious the cake was and how beautiful it looked. Yunita was so wonderful to work with and has a real talent for what she does! We absolutely loved working with her!
