Yunita was wonderful! We had a naked cake and brought our own flowers which she was able to decorate with. The cake turned out gorgeous and it was one of my favorites I've ever eaten. Our guests loved and kept asking where we got it from. I would absolutely recommend Yunita!

Amazing cake & amazing service! I sent them pictures of two cakes (bridal & groom's cake) and they made exactly what I wanted, not to mention both were absolutely delicious. I felt like I made a million changes and asked so many questions throughout the process and Yunita was so kind & helpful every time. We couldn't be happier with how both cakes turned out!

My daughter chose to do a small 3 tier cake and then have a dessert table. Everything was so good that we did not have any left overs except the top of the cake for the couple. We did strawberry cake with strawberry filling. Cakes shooters (Red velvet, Italian cream, Chocolate and Vanilla). All delicious. We also did lemon bars, cake pops, and macarons. We have nothing bad to say. It was all yummy.

Best tasting cake ever. We went into wedding cakes knowing nothing . We got educated on everything ! Flavor combos , decorations , size , costs . They educated us and fed us more cake then we could handle . We ending up getting enough cake for each guest to have 2 slices . They made us a 5 tier 3 flavor combo cake . It was unreal. The tie dye cookies and cream topper was unreal . The lemon blueberry was fresh and summery , then the classic French wedding bottom tiers were spot on . They decorated the cake with flowers and it was spectacular . Honestly can’t wait till I need another cake I’m calling these guys first !

Our cake was, by far, the most beautiful we had ever seen. Our guests were in awe and couldn't stop taking pictures. On top of that, it was delicious. They are extremely helpful and flexible with multiple cake, icing and filling options. I cannot recommend You Need A Cake enough!

I cannot express how amazing Yunita is! She took our vision for our wedding cake (and grooms cake) and made them come to life! I loved doing our tasting with her because of how it’s set up and also because she helps you find flavors you and your guests will love. Her cakes so so moist and flavorful that it almost doesn’t seem real. We didn’t have a lot of cake leftover, but the next day at a family brunch people were literally arguing over who was going to be able to get another slice because it’s just that good. We loved working with Yunita, and we will definitely use her again in the future for birthday cakes and other event cakes.

We have used her for events at the ranch, and she does amazing work. She makes a beautiful cake but it also taste delicious. I would recommend her to any bride wanting to create an unforgettable cake.

Yunita is the most sweet lady who really cares about her brides. I showed her a picture of a cake she did years ago that I loved and she remembered the brides name right off the top of her head. She takes a lot of time at the tasting picking your brain and making sure she nails down exactly what you envision for your big day. Her cakes are the absolute best and she has a very large variety. She made my wedding cake and the grooms cakes and they were a huge hit and everything we could have imagined and more. Yunita makes the cakes for all of our family events now. Our Yunita was fantastic! Our wedding cake was three tiers tall with marbled fondant and gold through the middle sort of like a geode. The outer most color was supposed to be royal blue, but she made it black for some reason? either way the black was even more stunning! The cake tasted fantastic! I would definitely go with Yunita again, just maybe be very specific on which colors you would like if you're picky about something like that.

You need a Cake was the best experience! We met Yunita at her shop and taste tested some delicious cake, she helped me design my dream cake, which was very simple yet elegant, due to Covid our guest list shrunk to half, but not to worry, Yunita made a beautiful cake and it was gone by the end of the night! They delivered the cake to the venue, placed my heirloom cake toppers on the cake and placed some flowers strategically on the cake for a little pop of color. We had the best time testing the cake at the shop and even got to take the rest of the samples home with us for the rest of the family to try! I will be using Yunita from now on. She is super professional and sweet. Also payment was easy, and she always answered any questions we had via email in a timely manner. Over all a wonderful business!

Yunita is so very sweet and her cakes taste amazing! She has a great selection of flavors and her cakes are beautiful. Her baking skills are superb but her business/logistics skills leave something to be desired. The wrong cake and only half of my cupcakes were delivered to the venue on wedding day. Luckily I had an amazing coordinator who knew what I ordered and noticed that it was the wrong cake and was able to get a hold of her to drop of the correct cake. Additionally, our favorite flavor of cupcakes was never delivered and my coordinator was told that we didn’t order that flavor even though she was looking at an invoice with that listed. Everything tasted great, but we almost didn’t get what we ordered or have enough to feed our guests.

I used Yunita for my wedding cake and I could not have been happier with the entire experience. the cake was extraordinarily delicious and so beautiful. she offered her wisdom when I had trouble making decisions and was so flexible when I has to postpone our wedding date due to covid! I highly reccomend.

Oh my goodness! You need a cake from Yunita. French vanilla cake with French buttercream and raspberry filling. I’ve never had anything so delightful! Details were so perfect. You need a cake went above and beyond with out original astronaut topped bridal cake. I’m sure other places are good but this is the absolute best!

WOW!!! Yunita made our wedding cakes and they were by far and above the best cakes I’ve ever eaten. It’s been over a week and I’m still getting raves about it! The spice cake, the lemon cake & filling, and the cookies & cream filling were the favorites. From the tasting to the big day, Yunita was so easy to work with, open to our ideas, and extremely professional. Of all the choices we made for our wedding, this was by far the best (minus each other, obviously!) I loved the ability to rent a cake stand OR buy our own and she was very good at guiding us on what work or what wouldn’t. We ended up renting because our bridal cake was massive (we expected 180 guests.) Yunita did a wonderful job of explaining how much cake we would need and at the end of the night, we only had about a 1/3 of one tier and 2/5 of another left (which we snacked for four days!) At our tasting, Yunita had a tablet with examples of other work she had done but also looked at some of the photos we had brought in. My groom really wanted a Batman cake but had a few different ideas. Yunita was able to put them together flawlessly and his cake turned out just nerdy enough!

Yunita did such a great job with accommodating our needs for the wedding. So many of our guests complimented the cupcakes and our top tier cake was delicious! We can't wait to have more of the cake for our first anniversary!

Yunita was awesome!! The tasting was so fun and she was totally open to new ideas but also had great suggestions of things she’s done before. My husband is a film major, so she made him a film reel grooms cake and it looked amazing. Also the best cake I’ve ever tasted!! Yunita was one of my favorite vendors! She is insanely talented. I gave her an inspiration photo of my cake and my wedding cake turned out better than I could have ever dreamed of. Yunita did an outstanding job on my wedding cake! She did a 4-tier purple and gold geode cake with a geode slice cake topper! Everyone thought they were real crystals she did such an amazing job! The cake was also sooo delicious! Three words: SALTED CARAMEL ICING!!! All of her icing and cake flavors stand out from you average boring wedding cake. Book Yunita if you want people to be impressed by not only her amazing designs but he wonderful taste! The cake tasting tray was so much fun to do with my groom! And she will bake you a fresh cake on your anniversary so you can use all of your cake and not worry about freezing the top tier. She was very excited every time we talked and really puts all her effort into her work! She also did our wedding shower cake and we had people asking if they could take it home it was so good! She also made an all gold cake for my sister's wedding last year! You're in good hands and will have no worries if you book with her!

This box does not give me enough characters to state how awesome she is. I went to every "it" cake baker in the city. Their cakes tasted like grocery store box cake compared to hers. Her attention to detail will make your wedding cake something that people will talk about for years. But after working with her it is her personality compared to other cake bakers that make is so that she is not just someone that I will recommend for wedding cakes. If I have to plan a party for someone else, if I ever have a baby that needs a birthday cake, if I need a cake for an event, she will be the person making it because she becomes a friend when she makes a cake for you. Seriously, go to a meeting with her about your wedding cake and try to not like her because you will leave wondering if you should invite her to your wedding and have her set with your family.

Yunita is so wonderful and so are her cakes! We planned our wedding after we were home from a deployment and had three months to get all the final details worked out. She helped us in a pinch and made us an absolute beautiful cake. The groom's cake was awesome! Yunita is so fun to work with and just so considerate through the whole process!

Yunita is the sweetest person ever. We had an appointment scheduled with another baker, but Yunita could get us in several months earlier, so she was our first stop. She made such a wonderful impression on us and gave us heartfelt advice/ideas for our cake that made us decide that day that we would want her to make our wedding cake. During the tasting, she provided us with several different fillings and flavors, all of which were AMAZING. She absolutely nailed the design I had in mind and paired it with a very beautiful cake stand. After the wedding, we got several compliments on the cake from our wedding guests, saying how it wasn’t just beautiful but also super moist and delicious. We chose not to save our top layer but I do plan on contacting Yunita later on in the year for a little anniversary cake. She will be the baker we plan to use for any future cake needs for our family. I would highly recommend her to anyone!!

We scheduled a cake tasting with Yunita and after we arrived and started tasting her wonderful cakes we knew she had to make our wedding cake. Yunida is the BEST! We live out of town and had to work with our OKC vendors remotely. Yunida was so attentive, she prepared a to-go tasting platter for my local friends and family to do a Skype tasting for me. We finalized the look of the cake from Miami over text and email - so convenient. She also made a surprise gluten-free cake for my mom! The cake was beyond gorgeous, exactly what I wanted, and all my guests said it was the best tasting wedding cake they had ever had. We love Yunita! She is such a sweet person and makes fabulous cakes. The cake tasting was amazing to start out. We had four cake flavors to taste and seven or eight frostings to try. They all tasted amazing! We were able to do a different kind of cake and frosting for each tier of the cake. Hi my name Lisa and i am getting married June 11, 2016 and i was need a good place that makes great wedding cakes, and a place i know was great, so my mom found You need a Cake we contacted her, met with her had a cake tasting and the cakes were great, and she had lots of cake pictures, and i had brought a picture in mind, and she is gonna change and add some better details, i was gonna go with the 3 tier due to our wedding was 50 people and after meeting with her we are going with 4 tier cake, one ruffle,and one plain and so on, and i like the fact each layer can be a say white bridal , one choc then yellow cake, and the cream we had tried was peanut butter, butter cream, cream cheese, and choc, so we are gonna go with each layer differt cake and diffent frosting, and she was very nice, and i can't wait to i get to see our cake all made up, i wish i had found her soon, she knows her cakes, and she does a great job, and i am glad that she is bring me the cake, least we can relax know we book our cake vendor with someone that is great, and its our wedding and we want to make sure its a very special day, cause brides dream of this dream wedding, and least i know i wont be stress about is my cake gonna be, are they gonna be late, and being a bridal gifts store owner myself i am a bride as well as a bridal business owner, and if you need other vendors just as her she knows a few people, and it nice to know that our cake is gonna be great, and all brides in Oklahoma should book with you need a cake, my mom and i met with her and spend over couple hours with her, and i felt like we was friends for every, and if you are have a picture from online she will give you her honest truth, and i like that , cause its 1 day, and i want us to be able to have the vendors i know are good, and we dont have to worry about anything, and my wedding colors are lavender and pink, and i have been asking my husband for since we decied to get married a year ago, that purple and pink is my favorite color we can go with light pink, and baby blue for you, and he said it don't matter what color, its your decion on what the colors and the dress that the bridesmaid, flower girl, and everyone else,and us guys will wear what ever suit you want us in, and decorate the wedding on how ever you like, you run a bridal business so i am letting you chose the vendors, the color, the booking, and he been amazing on all these decions its whatever you want, as long as you like it , and we are get married at the reed center and he wanted to have the reciption at home, we have a big back yard, so you need a cake is gonna bring it right to us, and i know it will be here safe, cause if anyone of us delivery and someone stop short, and i would be one unhappy bride, so i just wanted to write this review on my experience with you need a cake, all brides should hire you need a cake, cause she does amazing cakes and you can see her work on the business page you need a cake, and i was very please with the service and her cakes, were so good, we had bought the rest home and we all love cake, and my daughters said mom these cake are the best, you gotta have her make our wedding cake,and i said that is who making our cake, you need a cake, and she does cupcakes, cake pops, and more , its your day, and you should be able to be stress free , and its the day you are marry your best friend , along side with your family and friends, thanks i cant wait to see our cake on the wedding day

I met Yunita at a bridal show at the Mcgranahan barn. Like most cake vendors she had samples of her cake. After I tasted her cake, I knew she would be making my wedding cake. So many times bakers can make a cake look beautiful, but it just doesn't taste that good. With You Need A Cake, she does BOTH! You can get the beautiful cake you've always dreamed of, while also having the best cake you've ever eaten. I took my maid of honor to the cake tasting, and we both just fell in love with Yunita even more. She is so sweet and will really go above and beyond to provide you with what you're looking for. We tasted tons of delicious cake combos! I then found a couple of photos of what I wanted and she saved them. The cake that was delivered on my wedding day, was exactly what she promised to deliver. If you want a beautiful cake that your guests will actually enjoy, this is your place!
