me to tip, as someone who worked in the service industry I think this is extremely rude. I paid him his remaining balance the night of our wedding and planned on mailing a tip after our wedding, but don’t worry they don’t “suggest” tips, they demand them. Seconds before entering our venue I was stopped by the manager who was DEMANDING a tip, I tried to explain that I was about to have my first dance with my husband and he had been paid in full. I fully intended to mail a tip up until this point, even with the distasteful previous text. He then demanded my husband give him a tip right away and my husband cleared out his wallet to appease him. Tacky, disrespectful and RUDE is an understatement. I wish someone would’ve told me this before I hired them.

ve is the band leader. It was a little dicey setting up a "formal" meeting so we ended up just checking out one of his shows later that night. They had fantastic energy so we basically cut a deal with him then. Herbert is very responsive through text, so we had no problems getting in touch with him. The band showed up early to our wedding and got ready outside, and they brought the energy to the second line. It was an unforgettable evening for us and for our guests, and I am so happy YPS made that happen. Would highly recommend.

onal. Herbert Young is the person who coordinates everything, and he was very helpful. His preferred method of communication is text, which suited me perfectly. I was an out of town bride, so was a little worried having never met Herbert, but the band was at the venue before me and were the best part of our wedding! We had so much fun dancing in the second line all the way down Royal St and up to Bourbon St. The Young Pinstripes played the whole time and sounded fantastic! Their price was reasonable (be prepared to pay in cash as you would with any second line band), they were on-time, sounded great and made the second line so much fun! If you're getting married in New Orleans, you HAVE to have a second line. And The Young Pinstripes are a great brass band to choose!
