Browsing their Instagram, I found myself totally emotionally invested in these complete strangers' wedding videos, crying at how each one was filled with real emotion and cinematic beauty. I could already see that Young Videography had a unique talent for storytelling through film and could not wait for them to tell ours! Our interview meeting with Matt only confirmed my initial impressions. His warmth and expertise shone through as he asked questions about what we wanted for our big day that I would have never thought to bring up. As he shared his excitement about the cinematic possibilities for our wedding, I knew we'd hit the videographer jackpot!! On our big day, Matt and his wife Neci exceeded all expectations. They seemed to have a sixth sense for capturing every meaningful moment without ever feeling intrusive. Their seamless collaboration with our photographer ensured the day flowed smoothly, which is crucial given how much time you spend taking photos and videos. As a couple who is definitely not used to being in front of cameras, we were impressed (and so grateful!) by how Matt and Neci guided us to look natural and relaxed on film. Throughout the night, our family and guests continuously told us how we had “the absolute best videographer team they’d ever seen”. They utilized some really cool techniques, including high tech drone footage, smoke effects, and creative use of our rented decor lighting for a stunning backlit shot during our last dance. After getting our absolute dream wedding, I could not believe we got to wake up the next day to a wedding preview video! In the emotional aftermath of our big day, this unexpected gift was pure joy. Matt's dedication didn't stop there. A few weeks later we got a social media highlight reel that let us relive the magic while it was still fresh. Then, less than 8 weeks after our wedding, we had our full highlight video. Our final video left us speechless. It truly felt like watching a movie of our own love story, with every significant moment woven together seamlessly. The editing was impeccable, creating a narrative flow that perfectly captured the spirit of our celebration.
