Young's Caterer's

Young's did an amazing job for our wedding in Newport RI October 2019. Carol and her whole team were great to work with! The food was excellent!! all the guests loved everything! and they did such a great job with all the decorations and the candy bar too! I highly recommend Young's catering!

My husband and I got married 9/22/18 and Young's catered our wedding. They were absolutely amazing from start to finish. We knew when we met with Carol initially and had a tasting that we were in good hands but they really blew us away during our big day. Everything was complete perfection, from the set-up to break down, their very courteous, helpful, kind, professional, and accommodating staff, and the food - omg. There is truly nothing bad that could be said. We had a specific item that we requested to have at our buffet that wasn't on the menu and they made sure that we had what we wanted. We also had one allergy (gluten) and were told that some of the items on the buffet (such as the carved beef) were gluten free and I relayed that message to our guest who was SO excited and felt especially considered when Catherine, who headed the operation of the day, told her that they had made a specific, gluten free, stuffed chicken for her as well. I didn't even know that our guest would have that option so imagine our surprise in learning that they took the time to make sure she would also be able to enjoy such a yummy part of our buffet. Speaking of buffets, we were hesitant to have one as opposed to a served meal but we were budget conscious and decided to go for it and we are not upset that we did. Catherine and the rest of the staff were at the venue early to set up, and didn't give us one ounce of grief about completely being in their way - we certainly were - and everyone was there to help if needed, beside getting their own work done. She kept us on time, made sure that we had apps during our photos which immediately followed the ceremony, and made sure to care for us in any way possible. The décor that they brought in was beautiful, the buffet line was so elegant looking, clean, and well maintained. The staff were there for any need or request that was presented. And at the end of the evening, after my husband and I danced all night with no dinner or cake as most brides and grooms do, Catherine made sure to send us away with plenty of everything for us to enjoy together, which we most certainly did. Almost every guest that I've spoken to since our wedding has said what a fantastic meal they had, and not only that but how great the staff was. That speaks volumes - anyone can make a dish that at least a handful of people will like - but for everyone to have enjoyed it all and also specifically make mention of the staff shows just what kind of operation Young's is running. The only regret I have is not asking for an entire chafing dish of every item on that buffet to enjoy for the whole week following. As a matter of fact this morning, 4 days post wedding, I was on the phone with my father at 8am and he told me that he was dreaming of "that chicken" and would eat it for breakfast if he could. Complete perfection, in every way. Thank you, thank you, a million times thank you!

Young's did an awesome job for my mom's wedding at Country Gardens. The chicken Florentine got great reviews from our guests. The bride and groom loved working with Carol and planning a family style dinner. My family includes a large contingent of people with celiacs disease and they were able to create a gluten free menu that even included rolls. They were also able to provide dairy free butter and meals for tables that needed it. So awesome to get a hearty and tasty gluten free dairy free meal at a wedding!

We recently used Young's Caterers for a family wedding. They did a wonderful job and the food was delicious. Carol is amazing and was so knowledgeable and helpful throughout the wedding planning process - such a valuable and comforting resource! She also went above and beyond on the day of the wedding. Her set-up and decor was perfect. Also a shout out to the Young's staff working the wedding. They were hard working, professional, polite and provided service with smiles. I highly recommend them!
