I have been a makeup artist in South Carolina for a number of years, but my career started in the Tri-State Area. I've done a lot of exciting work on various projects, and I have always found myself strongly drawn to making people feel good about themselves and happy. Nothing gives me greater satisfaction than working with someone and seeing their excitement at their transformation. As a Bridal Makeup Artist, I want my Brides to feel self-confident and beautiful.

described to me what she was doing and why for each step. I am not someone who usually does my makeup and I found that very helpful. I liked how I still looked like me once she was done, just me with amazing makeup. She said during the trial that the face speaks to her and it really does.
On top of being a great make up artist, she also made good conversation. There was not an awkward moment while I was there. I cannot wait to have Peggy do my makeup for my upcoming wedding!

From 7am to 9pm in the August heat .. I requested a slight change in my eye makeup which was not a problem. Pricing was slightly below other vendors. The name of her business said it all! I loved my look-me, only better. She is capable of the heavy made up look if that is your preference, but that’s not me. I felt beautiful and got many compliments on my make up. I lucked out, just picking someone from the internet. It was just enough, not too much makeup. That perfect sun-kissed, glimmery fairy look while still being natural. I have never felt so beautiful. She also made sure to ask my opinion on things like lash length which I appreciated. She cares so much about you feeling comfortable in your skin and it is so wonderful to feel so cherished. I did five trials from different vendors and each time my comment was “it does not look like me or I look like a mannequin”
When Peggy did my trial, I knew based on the applications and techniques she used, paired with meticulously chosen products to showcase my skin color, she was the one for me.
My makeup looked so natural but highly sophisticated at the same time. I don’t know how to explain it but it definitely looks like me but a sophisticated version of me.
It was hot on my wedding day but my makeup stayed, no smudging, not a single touch up was needed throughout the event.
I danced my butt off and I still looked good till after the party. Thanks a million Peggy Boodro 💕💕💕💕

bsolutely true. Peggy was professional, friendly, and it felt like I had known her a lot longer than the hour that I spent with her for my pre-wedding trial makeup run. She was thorough and honest, telling me her thoughts but also asking mine all along the way... the end result was exactly what I had been looking for in my wedding look.
I don't live near Myrtle Beach, so my planning and selecting of vendors has been very heavily dependent on reviews and recommendations. Peggy (You. Only Better), was not only recommended and highly rated through The Knot, but by my venue as well as our photographer... they did not steer me wrong. I'm very excited for our big day in March and to see my whole look come together. Peggy will be a big part of that look.

at I was actually happy with her work, and not brushing me off or doing a "rush" job. The day of, she arrived, ON TIME, because I see not all actually arrive on time, based on previous reviews when we were looking, so this is very important to mention, got all set up, and got right to work on the girls. Everyone was happy with how their make up lasted throughout the day. We had pictures at 3:30, and the ceremony was at 6p! I would recommend hiring Peggy!

I wish Peggy would do my make up every day! But if I can’t have that, at least she was able to do it on the biggest day of my life. On my wedding day, Peggy was more than punctual ...
and arrived 15 minutes before scheduled. In fact, she even arrived at the venue before I did! She provided a perfect map of my face and used products and colors to elevate my natural beauty. She did the same for my sister (my only bridesmaid, hello Covid brides!) and best and most hilariously of all, gave us instruction on what she called Proper Crying Posture, so we wouldn’t ruin our faces with our tears! Peggy worked like a professional but felt like a friend. I would recommend her to anyone in the Myrtle Beach area looking for bridal make up. Thank you Peggy!

very natural and I walked out of the appointment feeling confident and beautiful all while looking like myself! Exactly how you would like to feel on your wedding day! The bonus was she gave me tips on application and products for my everyday make-up routine! She also provided me with other vendors I needed for my big day. I can’t wait for my wedding day and the flawless glowing look Peggy will provide for me!
