They were great at replying, had great service and the food was amazing. They’re very budget friendly as well. All my guest were impressed with dinner and appetizers. The food was not basic at all and the presentation was great. We also used their bartenders and they were amazing as well. The only thing I would say was sad is some little things that were talked about didn't get done.
So glad we went with this company for our wedding! Every part of the process was very easy and honestly, they are so much more affordable than most other options we found in the Portland area, but you would never guess it by how high quality the food is. Absolutely delicious and we got a ton of compliments from our guests. We particularly recommend the mushroom puffs for an appetizer, so good! And the gouda mashed potatoes, yum. We had some rare allergies and some vegans to feed, it was no problem at all and very easily managed by them. Also, they inquired about our wedding colors/themes and really incorporated that into the buffet tables so it looked very cohesive with the rest of the event. We highly recommend them!!

I cannot recommend Keith and his crew from Your Kitchen Chef more highly! The food was absolutely delicious, not basic in any way (many wedding guests complimented us on this), the catering staff worked hard to make the evening run smooth, the bartenders were excellent. Every step of the way, Keith and Julie were professional, friendly and quickly responded to our questions. The food was one of the highlights of our daughter's wedding thanks to this company! Kudos!

I couldn't have asked for a better catering experience than with Your Kitchen Chef for our wedding. From start to finish, their service was impeccable. The tasting with Head Chef Keith was the best food we have had, and it was tough to narrow down what we wanted for our final menu, the menu at our wedding was diverse and customizable, allowing us to create a meal that reflected our tastes perfectly. Every dish was exquisitely prepared and presented, delighting our guests with its flavor and elegance. There were many options to choose from! The staff was professional, attentive, and seamlessly ensured everything ran smoothly. Their attention to detail and commitment to excellence truly made our special day unforgettable. You can tell them treated our wedding as a wedding and thought of every little detail. We even added late night snacks a few weeks leading up to the wedding and they gladly accommodated. If you're looking for top-notch wedding catering, Your Kitchen Chef is the ultimate choice.
We were also looking for a Day of Coordinator, and Julie on Staff worked with us for an additional fee, and she was the MVP of the wedding weekend and made the day flawless. I can't imagine not having her! There were so many things we didn't think of, and Julie helped make sure we were prepared. She is extremely accommodating and flexible we were so lucky to work with her. She is one of the best communicators I have ever worked with, flawlessly worked with multiple stakeholders and always checked in on me. She is the best in the business!!
I will refer all friends and family, and hope to host another event so I can work with them again!

Keith is an amazing chef and catered our wedding at an affordable price. His team is friendly and on-point. We had a lot of compliments on the food. You know what they say—food is one of the things guests remember the most! Our guests will have fond memories. Also..we were very happy to have left overs boxed up for us along with the bride and groom plate.
The food was exactly what we wanted (everyone commented on how delicious it was), and the catering staff was very friendly and helpful! The next time I need a caterer, Keith is going to be my first call!
Keith was so wonderful to work with, and his food is DELICIOUS! All of our guests were blown away by his apps and amazing dinner. Working with Keith was easy and he was communicative and provided excellent catering and bar staff. His team even had the amazing foresight to pack my husband and I to go meals and left them by our getaway car at the end of the night-- absolutely brilliant, since of course we didn't eat much during the event! Thank you for everything, would definitely recommend! And PS-- GET THE MUSHROOM GRUYERE PUFF APPS! SO gooood.
Talk about the best food ever!! Keith blew us out of the water with our cocktail hour and wedding dinner. The food literally melts in your mouth. And the compliments we got from our guests, people even went back for seconds! Keith was wonderful, we did a tasting before as well for us to pick out the different options and his staff at the wedding were so nice and professional. Keith and Your Kitchen Chef come highly recommended by us. We had Your Kitchen Chef booked for all of our wedding catering, and we were so impressed with the quality of the food at the tasting and with our interactions with Keith that we decided to use Your Kitchen Chef to also cater our rehearsal dinner at a private location during the COVID-19 pandemic. Keith helped us come up with a delicious menu that didn't overlap with the wedding reception's menu in fairly short order. He also followed all safety protocols on the day of the event and delivered and a meal that was memorable and delicious. Keith knew how to use his expertise to help realize our vision, and we couldn't be happier with our interactions with Your Kitchen Chef.
Keith is an amazing chef and our experience from the initial contact with Our Kitchen Chef up through our wedding was so easy and perfect. We are really picky foodies and could not have made a better selection for the food service (and bar service). They responded quickly, were very receptive to our visions and ideas, and provided very clear options and professional guidance. The tasting was amazing and they helped us narrow down our options to create the perfect menu that our guests are still raving about. We had several challenges from severe allergies to providing safe food service to our guests during covid and they flawlessly delivered on all aspects. Our Kitchen Chef will definitely be our go-to for any and all future events in need of catering, they come highly recommended.
Keith and Your Kitchen Chef were amazing to work with, and I could not recommend them more. The food was phenomenal - so many of our guests commented on it, and Keith was really great in helping to plan the menu for what we were looking for. I can't emphasize how great the food was. Besides that, he also provided bar service which went very smoothly, and they executed our signature cocktails to perfection, even including cute garnishes. The food at our wedding was very important to us, so that was where our budget was focused, but Keith & co. still came in under budget. He was also vert flexible when the number of guests changed due to Covid-19. He was an absolute pleasure to work with, and we would work with him again for future events in a heartbeat. We were so happy with Keith from, "Your Kitchen Chef". WE hired him to do the rehearsal dinner and my son hired him for the wedding meal.
They were both fabulous meals, very attractive and delicious.
Keith was very professional in the delivery, set up and also just being so pleasant to be around. And during this Covid time, he helped us meet the safety requirements as well.

We were married on August 15th, 2020 amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. We found wedding planning to be more stressful than expected, especially when taking into account physical distancing and other necessary infection control measures. However, the catering experience was easy and enjoyable from start to finish. Keith Banks from Your Kitchen Chef was a great communicator from the beginning. He was flexible and worked with the budget we hoped to stay within. He provided a personalized tasting session for us where we tried multiple dish combinations. A short time later he provided us a quote with a few different options based on our favorite dishes from the tasting. We ended up choosing Greek Lemon Chicken and Marinated Tri-tip for the main dishes, Roasted Potatoes with Garlic and Rosemary and Balsamic Asparagus for the sides, and other appetizer/salad dishes as complements. We were so happy with the final catered meal and heard an abundance of positive comments from the wedding guests. It was definitely one of the highlights of our wedding! I would highly recommend Your Kitchen Chef for any of your catering needs.

I love being in the kitchen work or play and cooking great food that can be shared with others! Once old enough to work, I began in the pizza kitchen a good friend’s Family Italian Kitchen. I'll never forget the hours spent in that kitchen absorbing the aromas that were created each day plus learning the finer details of food, food service, and serving people.
With a true enjoyment of food and love for its preparation that in 2011 I opened Your Kitchen Chef as a personal chef. YKC has grown from a personal chef business to one of the leading wedding caterers in the Portland metro area.
