Even though we didn't talk much with David he understood our relationship. We quickly realized we had some similarities between his marriage and our relationship. I really liked how down to earth and funny he is. I love to joke sometimes I take it too far and he was all for it. It's in the name - David created a perfect wedding ceremony for us. It was touching, sweet, humorous, and very true to who we are. He expertly blended our faiths into a customized ceremony. Not only did we feel it was exactly what we wanted and needed, we heard after that guests came away feeling like they had an even better sense of who we were as a couple. David's process really worked for us. He took so much time and care in getting to know us, asking hard but helpful questions to pry details out of us for the ceremony, that we felt like we had a friend up there with us. He was also incredibly professional when reviewing run of show, managing the marriage license process, and advising on ceremony etiquette and preferences.

Where do we begin? David was absolutely amazing. He took the time to find out who we were as individuals and as a couple. Which made the ceremony so beautiful and meaningful. We were running late. The groom was having an unforseen minor medical issue. David jumped in and helped with set up around the gazebo (making sure the memorial table was perfect). We couldn't have found a better minister for our wedding than David. He truly exceeded all of our expectations. He is a true wedding professional! One of my favorite memories of our months of wedding planning was our "interview" meeting with David. He asked intentional questions so that he could truly get to know us and our relationship. It was SO much fun to reflect on the entirety our relationship and to relive some of our favorite memories with each other. It even brought us to tears at certain points. We walked away feeling re-centered on & excited for our upcoming marriage. Part of David's services included coming to our rehearsal the day before. While wedding ceremonies seem relatively simple in nature, he provided such great advice on things we weren't even thinking about, so we felt super prepared going into the next day. He also had our witnesses sign the marriage license during the rehearsal to avoid the chaos that follows the ceremony during wedding day. This was so very smart & appreciated! On our wedding day, we were blown away by how beautifully crafted our ceremony was. He articulated our relationship perfectly. Finally, David was very helpful in making sure we knew how to secure a marriage license and also how to purchase a certificate after he completed the form and mailed-in to the registrar. When I reflect on our wedding - I think the most meaningful part was the actual ceremony. David really had our backs and composed the most thoughtful and beautiful reading. When it was over it was a rude awakening to think we wouldn't be 'hanging' with him again, he had become a friend. A true professional - the guests all said the same. Highly recommended!

David was absolutely incredible there aren't enough words to express my gratitude. My dad was hesitant on having a professional officiant as he was unfamiliar with the concept, however he now says it was the best decision we made! David LOVES his job and loves love. He took the time to get to know us over two zoom meetings and at the rehearsal and by the time the wedding rolled around it truly was like a dear friend leading us in the ceremony. He was helpful with all of my questions, with wrangling the bridal party and made everything flow really smoothly on all accounts. He totally understood our light hearted funny vibes and ended up even saying some things in his portion that we BOTH said in our vows, thats how well he gets to know you in the process! David is the absolute best! He officiated our ceremony in May 2023 in Fallbrook, CA. We first reached out to him around October of 2022 after interviewing several officiants. What stood out to us about David was his genuineness, great listening skills, and his ability to really captivate and engage us in conversation. We could also feel his positive energy and empathy over FaceTime. We knew he would be absolutely amazing in front of a crowd of all our loved ones! David really spent time getting to know us and answering all of our questions. He did all of the heavy lifting by writing a personalized 15-20 minute ceremony for us. All we had to do was chat with him a bit and do a sheet of "homework", which we went over with David on a call about a month before our wedding. During this call, David got to know us even better and knew exactly what questions to ask us to get us talking. I also had a lot of specific questions for David about what happens in an emergency, what he'll wear, whether or not we should do public or private vows, etc... and he was always super patient in answering them. He's extremely detail-oriented and thoughtful--he even matched the tie he wore on our wedding day with our wedding colors!! On our wedding day, the ceremony went so smoothly (and a huge part is because of David). My husband and I were so nervous at the altar, but looking at David and hearing his calming voice was very reassuring to me. We wanted an unplugged ceremony and I loved how David kindly reminded our guests about this. Many people complimented David's officiating and how he inserted our personal anecdotes into his speech. Outside of officiating, David is an awesome person and we loved getting to know him a bit. He is seriously one of the most personable and kind people you'll ever meet. We 100000% recommend David to anyone who is getting married in San Diego county!

My wife and I cannot begin to say enough good things about David. From the first call, to the final "I Do," he was incredible to work with. We had an in person interview with him where he took the time and asked the right questions in order to truly get to know us. We were so happy that we chose David to officiate our wedding ceremony! He was there to guide us through the whole process, making it seem effortless. Our wedding ceremony was absolutely PERFECT! We would highly recommend booking David for all of your wedding/elopement needs. David created a ceremony that perfectly encompassed our feelings towards each other. He is so genuine, easy to work with, personable, and a great speaker. My husband and I were looking for an officiant to perform our elopement ceremony, and we found David on another wedding website. His reviews were impeccable, and no matter where we searched for him, all we found were raving reviews! My husband and I both agreed that we must contact him. From the beginning, he was friendly and responsive. He suggested a Skype meeting so that he could get to know us a little bit and tailor our ceremony using relevant information about us, rather than a standard generic one (unless you want generic- he can do that too). The meeting was very productive. We discussed details that were important to us, and when we asked him for location suggestions, he gave us one that was perfect! Because of the pandemic situation, we wanted a brief ceremony, and he was very respectful of our wishes. It was perfect! David wore a mask the entire time, and stood at a safe distance from everyone. He used a microphone so that everyone can hear him, and he pinned one on my husband's suit lapel so that they can hear us as well. We also wanted to integrate a "lasso," which is a Mexican wedding tradition. I thought I'd have to explain it, but he knew EXACTLY what to do (as I did not)! David is super detail oriented. I was very touched when he wore a tie to match our color (lilac), which was my mom's favorite. Additionally, David gave us suggestions with the writing of our vows, and during the ceremony, he gave us the vows on some beautiful lilac colored stationery! Another great thing about David is that he performs both secular and religious ceremonies- your choice! David went ABOVE and BEYOND what was asked and agreed upon. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND David Cutler to ease your mind on your most special day, and perform your ceremony!

The first moment we met Dave, we were instantly in love with his genuine personality and smile. Funny story, he was wearing a purple button-up shirt the first time we met, and already we knew he was the one! Purple is Sarah's favorite color, so we joked if he was actually psychic. David was absolutely amazing!! Most of our appointments were via Skype. He provided us with the all the information we needed and even reminded us when to do our marriage certificate. We didn’t write our vows and he was still able to move the audience to tears. He made the whole experience so easy and memorable.

Our wedding was perfect all thanks to David. We knew David was a perfect fit as soon as we met him, we really enjoyed our meeting with him and discussing our relationship with him in detail. David was the BEST decision we made for our wedding day! We got married at the Temecula Creek Inn in September, and found David on the venues preferred vendor listing. We are SO happy we did! After having a FaceTime introductory call, David explained his services and made us feel immediately at ease. David made everything so easy for us, we had a face to face planning meeting a few months before the big day and he spent a couple of hours explaining the plan for the day and also getting to know us as a couple. We left the meeting feeling so happy that we’d found David to be such a big part of our day. The weekend of, David met us at the venue and led our wedding rehearsal. There were quite a few family and friends dropping in during the rehearsal, but David kept us on track and made sure all the important aspects were covered. On the day of, David was seamless in setting everything up, his music set up was amazing and our guests really enjoyed the pre-ceremony music as they arrived. As I walked down the aisle to see David and my husband to be, things couldn’t be more perfect. David gave us the most wonderful ceremony, and he included such loving and inspiring words for the start of our new life together. The ceremony was so personal and included references to us as a couple, we were SO impressed and I can’t express in words how incredible David made us feel while we stood together in front of our friends and family. After the ceremony, David seamlessly transitioned from Officiant to MC / DJ and our guests were so impressed. We loved that he kept the continuity going through the day, and he was so charismatic and funny with his transitions. David is simply the best!! Very articulate, respectful and educated. My fiance and I immediately knew we were hiring him, right after our 1st meeting. You cannot go wrong with David!!! We were married recently in June at the San Marcos Golf Course (Also a great place) and David was a hit. We met him at a starbucks months prior to the wedding and he causally asked questions and found non-awkward ways to get to know our relationship. He came to the rehearsal the day before the wedding and had a lot of helpful information and tips that really put me at ease and polished our ceremony. I couldn't believe how personal he made our ceremony he included everything we wanted (and we wanted a lot lol) and added his own touches about our relationship that were spot on. He seriously took the time to get to know us, and because of that, he tailored our ceremony perfect enough to represent us. He listens, is very knowledgeable, and helpful when it comes to the marriage license process. In addition, we used David for our ceremony music, and he timed everything perfectly, with the help of his handy dandy iPad and expensive sound equipment. The funny thing was after our ceremony, a lot of our family and friends asked us if David was a long time friend, and we said “No, but it sure felt that way!” That’s how personal yet professional David presented his services. Not only because you obviously need an officiant, but because he will add such a personal yet humors touch to your ceremony, lex and I felt as if we have known him for years, he took the time to really know us! My husband and I began looking for an officiant who was laid back, confident and someone we felt comfortable with. We found that with David. I don’t think I could say enough good things about David! The amount of compliments my family and Friends gave was endless! Every detail even ones you don’t think about he knew and he did. From coordinating outfits to stepping out of your first kiss shot to making your wedding sound like it came from your best friend your whole life. As odd as it may sound I asked for a wizard of Oz quote because that is my thing and he did it so tastefully. I cannot wait to get my video back to watch this part!
