Someone easygoing, genuine, and can still crack a couple of jokes and make us laugh. We were so lucky that he was still available the day of our wedding! Since we live out of state from where our wedding was, we finally met him in person when we were down in CA for a week and that’s when he truly got to know us. After booking with David, he set up an in-person meeting to get to know us in depth. We spent close to 2 hours with him explaining how our relationship began, gone through challenges, our passions, our hobbies, and so much more. David was also a huge help when getting our marriage license. He told us when to get it and helped make sure we got everything in order before our wedding. He also provided a lot of help when we wrote our own vows. He had a very in-depth guide/tips for writing our vows. He also proof-read them for us (without changing anything) to ensure we were on the same page for tone and vibe. David attended our rehearsal to ensure we knew what to expect for our wedding day. There he got to see our close family and friends for the first time. David's message during our ceremony was perfect, hitting the nail on the head. You could tell he is very passionate about this by how personalized it was, using so much information he gathered from our in-person meeting. David also did a great job of coordinating with our DJ to ensure the sound was perfect and timing was on point. He is a true professional. David was our "Perfect Ceremony" and we are so glad we found him! He cares so much about his role in your wedding and it shows by how much time and energy he put into our wedding. our months of wedding planning was our "interview" meeting with David. He asked intentional questions so that he could truly get to know us and our relationship. It was SO much fun to reflect on the entirety our relationship and to relive some of our favorite memories with each other. It even brought us to tears at certain points. We walked away feeling re-centered on & excited for our upcoming marriage. Part of David's services included coming to our rehearsal the day before. While wedding ceremonies seem relatively simple in nature, he provided such great advice on things we weren't even thinking about, so we felt super prepared going into the next day. stood out to us about David was his genuineness, great listening skills, and his ability to really captivate and engage us in conversation. We could also feel his positive energy and empathy over FaceTime. We knew he would be absolutely amazing in front of a crowd of all our loved ones! David really spent time getting to know us and answering all of our questions. He did all of the heavy lifting by writing a personalized 15-20 minute ceremony for us. All we had to do was chat with him a bit and do a sheet of "homework", which we went over with David on a call about a month before our wedding. During this call, David got to know us even better and knew exactly what questions to ask us to get us talking. I also had a lot of specific questions for David about what happens in an emergency, what he'll wear, whether or not we should do public or private vows, etc... and he was always super patient in answering them. He's extremely detail-oriented and thoughtful--he even matched the tie he wore on our wedding day with our wedding colors!! On our wedding day, the ceremony went so smoothly (and a huge part is because of David). My husband and I were so nervous at the altar, but looking at David and hearing his calming voice was very reassuring to me. We wanted an unplugged ceremony and I loved how David kindly reminded our guests about this. Many people complimented David's officiating and how he inserted our personal anecdotes into his speech. Outside of officiating, David is an awesome person and we loved getting to know him a bit. He is seriously one of the most personable and kind people you'll ever meet. We 100000% recommend David to anyone who is getting married in San Diego county!

searched for him, all we found were raving reviews! My husband and I both agreed that we must contact him. From the beginning, he was friendly and responsive. He suggested a Skype meeting so that he could get to know us a little bit and tailor our ceremony using relevant information about us, rather than a standard generic one (unless you want generic- he can do that too). The meeting was very productive. We discussed details that were important to us, and when we asked him for location suggestions, he gave us one that was perfect! Because of the pandemic situation, we wanted a brief ceremony, and he was very respectful of our wishes. It was perfect! David wore a mask the entire time, and stood at a safe distance from everyone. He used a microphone so that everyone can hear him, and he pinned one on my husband's suit lapel so that they can hear us as well. We also wanted to integrate a "lasso," which is a Mexican wedding tradition. I thought I'd have to explain it, but he knew EXACTLY what to do (as I did not)! David is super detail oriented. I was very touched when he wore a tie to match our color (lilac), which was my mom's favorite. Additionally, David gave us suggestions with the writing of our vows, and during the ceremony, he gave us the vows on some beautiful lilac colored stationery! Another great thing about David is that he performs both secular and religious ceremonies- your choice! David went ABOVE and BEYOND what was asked and agreed upon.
