Your Perfect Party

ally important to me, and she made sure to play my favorite artists and songs throughout the night. She also helped me cut the song for my walk down the aisle, so I could have the bridal entrance of my dreams. We loved having her as part of our day!

wedding. She gave us so many suggestions for songs and other things at the wedding. She made everything flow smoothly before and after the wedding. She also suggested fixing plates for the couple and letting them eat before they were introduced, which helped immensely, because if anyone who has attended a wedding know, the couple NEVER has time to eat. She organized everything relating to her part in the wedding, my daughter had music suggestions from all of her guests on her RSVP cards and Kandy put them into the song lists seamlessly. She has an organized time line for everything that is to happen from introductions, to special dances, to cutting of the cake, to the Auburn Shaker send off. We are very pleased with Kandy. She is reasonable in price, organized, and very, very helpful! I would most certainly recommend her to any and everyone! No complaints whatsoever, completely perfect! Your Perfect Party is such an apt name for this wonderful service!!! Book Kandy quickly for any event, but especially for your Reception!

om Your Perfect Party was very responsive and created the perfect setting for us. I highly recommend them!

parents feel so at ease! She walked us through every step of the reception and and made sure we got exactly what we wanted. She was so easy to get in touch with, and she made sure to clarify anything and everything beforehand. No detail was missed. She was even able to supply us with ceremony sound the day of our wedding at a last minutes notice. She saved our ceremony music! During the reception she was able to go with the flow and gauge the crowd at every moment, and was extremely flexible when we wanted to change up the order of things on the fly based on our crowd. It flowed seamlessly. I highly recommend this amazing company for any of your wedding needs! 10/10 stars.

and sound for both the wedding and reception. Great experience!

went above and beyond our expectations! We received so many compliments on her and we couldn't be happier! Thank you so much Kandy for making our wedding a dream come true! :)

itineraries to all the vendors and was a huge help. The bistro lighting that we ordered was beautiful. We love you Kandy!

thank you enough! For brides who have no idea how to pick music (like me), Kandy was so patient and helped make my wedding music perfect! She is so organized and even helped me put together a surprise dance with my dad! Thank you again Kandy!

y helpful in keeping everyone on the same page. Of course we also loved the music and song selection. All of our guests had so much fun!

get all generations on the dance floor at the reception. She also had great ideas to get the crowd involved, like a generation dance and soul train line. We would highly recommend her for any event!

tions. She even sent out communication with our wedding planner, florist and caterer so everyone was on the same page. She's not just a DJ, she is a party starter! We had no alcohol at our wedding, but everyone was dancing like crazy!!! She played games and arranged the music in such a way that everyone was included. It was my dream day, and it was a large part due to Kandy.

ngs timely and running seamlessly. We also appreciated her willingness to meet with us in person during the planning process. She also had great insight on what guests would enjoy. My mother also shared with me that some of our guests had commented on how great the DJ was too. I highly recommend Your Perfect Party.

n the Huntsville area. She followed up with me a couple weeks out from the wedding to remind me to send her my songs-which was very helpful because my brain was in 10 different places. She also will send your day of outline to review to make sure it is perfect. We used her for the ceremony and reception and it was perfect. We also had her hang her bistro lights, which really added to the decor. We used her for our photo booth rental and chose the option for her to post them in an album to Facebook. She had them posted within 2 days and they were hilarious! I definitely recommend this option, its cheaper and you can share with all of your friends. You cannot go wrong with Your Perfect Party. They are truly wonderful!

uested songs and didn't play anything that we didn't want to hear. She also had fun suggestions like the newlywed game and generation dance. She is very professional and I would definitely recommend her.

he kept me motivated, lended an ear when I needed to vent, helped me decide to GO FOR IT when I wanted to hem my floor length dress with a train into a 1950s style that turned out to be PERFECT for me. She was always just a call/text away, quickly responded to all my crazy questions/concerns. She kept us on track throughout the night, practically serving as our coordinator as well as our DJ. I received lots of compliments on the playlist. Kandy kept our party going from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM. I have ZERO regrets. LOVE that quirky gal!

all the way up to the event. She was even able to order beautiful drapery for our arch that she installed herself and it looked like something out of a bridal magazine. Kandy took it upon herself to be our wedding coordinator to make sure everything ran smoothly the day of the event. She set up about 4-5 hours before the event and thoroughly checked the sound throughout the venue. She answered people's questions when me and my groom were off doing pictures and other things. She checked in with me and my groom throughout the night to keep us posted on activities coming up so we were prepared ahead of time. She made all of the announcements for our event. My sister-in-law has told us that she wants Your Perfect Party to be at her wedding. I would highly recommend Your Perfect Party for any event! Thank you so much Kandy! :)

d she is the sweetest person to work with. Ever! Would recommend Your Perfect Party over and over again!!

ion to every detail. She truly wanted me to be happy and have the music be whatever I wanted it to be! It was so hot at my wedding but Kandy got everyone out on the dance floor and kept everyone dancing for three hours! It was awesome! When by best friend got married I recommended Kandy as a DJ. For the second time Kandy did not disappoint! She was just as spunky and enthusiastic as I remembered! I recommend her for all of my friends who are getting married in the area!

ing all night long while also playing songs suitable for every age. She was so personable that she seemed more like a friend at our wedding than a vendor!! Our friends are STILL talking about how much fun they had on the dance floor. Your Perfect Party will provide top quality service bottom line! Thanks Kandy!

o much fun, and Kandy stood out to me because of all the fun games/activities she organized and emceed (shoe game, conga line, soul train, etc). My sister-in-law recommended I go with her for my wedding, and I'm so glad she did! Using Kandy to DJ our reception took a lot of stress and planning off of our shoulders. It was great having someone to direct the reception and simultaneously provide a fun, relaxed atmosphere!

n so she could do the reception for my daughters wedding. After her wedding I had several people ask about her and tell me what a good job she did. So when my other daughter got engaged, I contacted Kandy to find out her availability before I even booked the venue, because I wanted her that bad. I wouldn't trust anyone else. Not only is she a FABULOUS/ROCKIN' DJ, but she is almost like having a wedding planner too! She works closely with the photographers so they can capture important moments by announcing when the cake is being cut, first dances, etc. Very professional and responsible. I have been to other weddings/events where the DJ was subpar, but having her really made a difference on the fun-factor at our events! Thanks Kandy ... we love you!

ered, I knew she was the one...DJ that is :). We talked several times before the wedding. She called to check on me frequently and kept asking if I needed any help with anything. She made me feel like I was the only Bride-to-be. The wedding day came and I was so nervous about everything, because that's what us Brides do. The music was perfect, the lighting was phenomenal, and all our guests had an amazing time. Something else she did was take pictures throughout the ceremony, I had no idea that she was until she showed me, and still til this day, one of the photos she took is my favorite. I have so much more to say about Kandy and how personable, accomodating, dependable, and just AMAZING she and her services were. I would use her services for ALL our party needs, without a doubt. If you need a DJ that offers it all and will be there and be dependable, call them. Oh yeah, I made a friend out of all of it, that's PRICELESS. Wait until you meet Kandy, you'll understand the hype.

er again that the reception will always be remembered due to the professionalism and entertainment of our wedding DJ!

g and decor was amazing. We had her help us with a monogram lighting cutout and her knowledge of fonts made sure our names were actually readable on the ceiling, not blurred like other vendors. The uplighting was perfectly staged to highlight the decor at the Botanical Gardens in Huntsville, AL where we had our reception. The pictures were made all the more beautiful because of the great work. My wedding was a union between two cultures and included family and friends from different generations. That meant the music choices at the wedding had to walk a fine line of non-offensive but still fun for a party. I have been to weddings where questions were raised about the content in the music or the type of music played, but my wedding thankfully was not one where people left the room to avoid the noise or curse words from the speakers. Kandy knows her audience and ensures that the music selection is representative of the bride and groom while still being respectful to those gathered to celebrate. Her manner and kindness was noticed by many of my guests and they appreciated having such an engaged, respectful, and fun DJ coordinating the music of the reception. I would recommend her to anyone in the area and cannot thank her enough for making our day so special.

than other DJ's I've seen at my friends' weddings-I would definitely recommend her to my friends.

l since I didn't have a coordinator. The music selection was exactly what I had in mind, and everyone had a great time. I would definitely recommend Kandy to be your DJ for any event.

th you. We had so many recently engaged couples ask us who our DJ was. She took the stress of making the reception perfect off of my husband and I and it was far more than I could have ever imagined. When I think back to my wedding, my first thought was the awesome time we had because of Kandy! LOVE her!!!

ryone and hope to attend more events that she is involved in. Kandy has been a great friend of mine for years and has always been upbeat, kind, and professional. I never thought twice about returning to her. She was actually my first call. In the years since my first wedding (which I am still very proud of, and had a wonderful time) Kandy has added decorating to her list of services and I couldn't be happier with how the venue turned out. She made my event beautiful for me and it was one less thing I had to worry about. Since she has been working as a wedding-party planner for a number of years now, she has a bank of knowledge about local vendors and she was the one I turned to when I first started planning my wedding. She suggested the venue and it was exactly what we were looking for. I am quite thankful for Kandys services, and count her as a valuable resource.

responds via phone or email, and always thinks of the bride and groom such as suggesting certain games that gives the newlyweds time to eat during the reception. She even had a projector screen and beautiful drapery for a photo slideshow we had. The shoe game was a crowd favorite, and her song selections and transitions were on point. She is also very organized by providing a detailed timeline and made it easy for us to pick our songs for intro, first dance, cake cutting, generation dance, etc. We received so many compliments from our guests about how much they enjoyed our DJ and how great the music flowed. Thank you so much Kandy! We couldn't have had our dream wedding without you! We highly recommend any of her services to anyone :)

music mixing skills. She was on top of the ball and by our final meeting I had complete confidence in her that everything was going to be wonderful. I highly recommend Your Perfect Party for any event and would use them again.

venue and discussed the possibilities, helping to create an event that was fun, entertaining and most importantly memorable. For weeks after our wedding, people were still telling us how much fun they had. Kandy was supportive of our wants and needs and was able to offer her own expertise that made the whole experience far more wonderful than we had originally thought. Working with our other wedding vendors, her level of organization and professionalism insured that all of the events at our reception went precisely as planned. I would have no second thoughts about recommending Your Perfect Party to not only my friends, but anyone who wishes to use a quality DJ service that makes their special event one that everyone remembers.

rried about the music aspect of our wedding. She was amazing and the sweetest ever. We couldn't be happier on our choice to go with Your Perfect Party. We100% recommend Kandy to anyone!

end of the wedding and made sure we were happy the entire time. She had the crowd going, people that don't dance... dancing, we couldn't have picked a better person to work with, I would recommend My Perfect Party to ANYONE and EVERYONE!

ching the layout due to the change. She lit the room with uplighting beautifully! Since she announced the events coming up, such as cutting the cake, first dance, etc., the guests knew what was coming and didn't leave early. She picked out songs great to keep everyone enjoying the reception. Thank you so much for being a part of Brett and I's Big Day! I could not thank you enough for everything that you did. It was fabulous! Thank you sooo much!

of the party at the perfect levels at ever turn. Without her the reception would not have been as great as it was.

on us, but she went above and beyond helping organize the big event. She never made me feel pressured to buy extra add ons and was very aware of my budget. Every time we spoke I always felt better and less stressed. Kandy brought her equipment for the rehearsal dinner so the bridal party could practice with music and so she could meet everyone before the event. The reception was excellent. She was very in tune with the type of music I wanted to play and kept the party going all through the New Year. If any one requested a song she thought I might not like she always checked to make sure it was okay with me before playing it. She constantly was doing thoughtful things like that. I thoroughly enjoyed my wedding and Kandy was the perfect person for my big day. I cannot recommend a more organized, thorough or sweeter DJ to work with! Loved her!! Claire Young

ing, and Kandy taught me Wedding 101. The lighted monogram and Chinese lanterns she hung looked beautiful in our venue! She helped us plan a classy, yet fun reception with a BIG party at the end. The wedding and reception were perfectly organized and flowed amazingly. The music was spot on at every point, and the lighting was so much fun! Kandy made sure our night was exactly like we wanted by checking in with us often, and she rolled with the punches exceptionally well! Our guests had a GREAT time, and we got so many compliments on the party atmosphere. They keep calling it the "wedding of the century," and even the venue owner said it was the best wedding they'd ever had! We made some great memories that will last a lifetime, and we could NEVER have done it without Kandy at Your Perfect Party! She went above and beyond our expectations, and we are overwhelmed with gratitude. My sister is getting married in October, and the first thing I did when we she set the date was check with Kandy to see if she was available, and she was! So we will be partying and having the 2nd wedding of the century in the fall! So excited!!

dvice on what we should or shouldn't do to help the wedding ceremony and reception flow well. It was also very important to me that she responded so quickly to my one hundred questions via email. She really took a lot of stress out of my life! The music at the wedding ceremony was absolutely beautiful and very meaningful. All of her equipment sounded great at our outdoor wedding venue. We got TONS of compliments on the ceremony music and how FUN the reception music was to dance to! I have never been at a wedding where more people danced the entire evening. I find this totally awesome because we can say that we definitely had the most fun wedding I have ever been too! There is absolutely nothing bad I can say about this company at all, it was also VERY affordable!!!

a reception event outline for us. Leaving the meeting, we were amazed at the services other than just DJ that she offers. She really is a full party planning service with everything from lighting, to additional venue decorations such as paper lanterns and ceiling décor. From the basic outline, we continued to work through email and text messages to nail down the final details for our reception. She was very easy to work with and very laid back when it came to making changes and going with the flow of the day. She even had a needle and thread handy when the bustle button popped off the wedding dress during the reception. She literally had our reception party going strong so that we were having to usher our friends and family off the dance floor at the end of the reception. We can't say enough to stress her professionalism and attention to detail to actually make this "Your Perfect Party". We highly recommend her for any event!!!

wedding decision we made!! The price was reasonable and you get more than you could dream of! They were incredibly in tune with my husband and I's feelings on what we were looking/hoping for and they definitely delivered! Not only were we satisfied with our wedding reception, we have been receiving countless complements on how fun our wedding was. She really takes the time to get to know her clients and gets their music choices down immediately. During our sit down dinner, she played love songs from every era that every guest could tap their toes to and recognize. During the dancing portion of our reception, she made sure that every guest was involved in every activity like the first dance, father/daughter, son/mother, generation, etc. We had friends saying that through that type of emceeing they felt like they were part of the family, not just another guest. Another thing we loved about Kandy is that she checked on us every so often during the reception to make sure we were having a good time. She understands that the bride and groom are her most important clients and that meant the world to us. We did the can under lights with soft color transitions and the monogrammed light. It truly brought a whole different level of elegance than we could have even hoped for. Seeing those additions with the rest of our reception venue truly blew us away! (Just a hint of those future bride and grooms who are looking for a way to entertain their guests, I highly recommend asking to do the newlywed game. It was a huge hit with our family and friends!) I guarantee if you are looking for a DJ who will bring the party and keep it going, Your Perfect Party is the DJ group to get!

numerous questions about song choice and order, and provided suggestions based off her experience with her other weddings. On the day of, Kandy was continuously responsive to our guests' energy and selected music to either get more people dancing, or to give everyone a break if they needed it. She even accommodated some extra requests that I had- mainly to announce my grandparent's 55th wedding anniversary, surprise a friend with a birthday announcement, and congratulate another friend and her husband who were celebrating their first anniversary.I really had THE BEST TIME dancing at my wedding.. It feels like I left the best party too early and now all I want to do is go back, EVERY DAY.

all ages out there and everyone had a great time! Kandy was such a pleasure to work with throughout the whole planning process. It’s very obvious that she really enjoys what she does and truly is excited about each event she is working. She was always quick to respond to emails and asked all the right questions to get the vision of our reception. Among all the wedding planning stress, it was nice to know that I could trust Kandy to use her best judgment on the music and of course she delivered a great party that we will always remember!! I would definitely recommend Your Perfect Party to anyone! You can't be the price and the service!!

helped to take some of the stress off of me, she took charge of the reception and made the night so much fun. I will be using her again for future events!
