Kandy with YPP is fabulous. We knew from our first meeting with her that we were in the best hands. She is insanely organized and on top of every detail, and she made myself and my parents feel so at ease! She walked us through every step of the reception and and made sure we got exactly what we wanted. She was so easy to get in touch with, and she made sure to clarify anything and everything beforehand. No detail was missed. She was even able to supply us with ceremony sound the day of our wedding at a last minutes notice. She saved our ceremony music! During the reception she was able to go with the flow and gauge the crowd at every moment, and was extremely flexible when we wanted to change up the order of things on the fly based on our crowd. It flowed seamlessly. I highly recommend this amazing company for any of your wedding needs! 10/10 stars.

We loved Kandy! She was so willing to help make the reception run smoothly, and her guidance helped us choose the style of reception we wanted. Of all my wedding vendors, I was MOST PLEASED with Kandy! She met with me twice, went over all my expectations and hopes for my wedding. She promptly answered all my many many questions. She even sent out communication with our wedding planner, florist and caterer so everyone was on the same page. She's not just a DJ, she is a party starter! We had no alcohol at our wedding, but everyone was dancing like crazy!!! She played games and arranged the music in such a way that everyone was included. It was my dream day, and it was a large part due to Kandy.

Things went so smoothly during our wedding. Whenever we couldn't remember what the next order of event was, we'd just go to the DJ booth and Kandy would let us know. From the moment I first met with Kandy, she was delightful to work with! She truly listens to your every need and acts as a day of coordinator. She was one of the most affordable in the Huntsville area. She followed up with me a couple weeks out from the wedding to remind me to send her my songs-which was very helpful because my brain was in 10 different places. She also will send your day of outline to review to make sure it is perfect. We used her for the ceremony and reception and it was perfect. We also had her hang her bistro lights, which really added to the decor. We used her for our photo booth rental and chose the option for her to post them in an album to Facebook.She had them posted within 2 days and they were hilarious! I definitely recommend this option, its cheaper and you can share with all of your friends. You cannot go wrong with Your Perfect Party. They are truly wonderful!

Kandy from Your Perfect Party is the sweetest person you will ever meet!! She is also a wonderful dj. When we met, Kandy did a very thorough consultation. She played all of our requested songs and didn't play anything that we didn't want to hear. She also had fun suggestions like the newlywed game and generation dance. She is very professional and I would definitely recommend her.

Kandy is FANTASTIC!!! She DJ'd at my sister's wedding in May 2013 and we hired her for our wedding in October 2015. She's got DJ skills for sure, but there's SO MUCH MORE to her! She kept me motivated, lended an ear when I needed to vent, helped me decide to GO FOR IT when I wanted to hem my floor length dress with a train into a 1950s style that turned out to be PERFECT for me. She was always just a call/text away, quickly responded to all my crazy questions/concerns. She kept us on track throughout the night, practically serving as our coordinator as well as our DJ. I received lots of compliments on the playlist. Kandy kept our party going from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM. I have ZERO regrets. LOVE that quirky gal!

Kandy was our DJ, but she was so much more than that. She helped us through the entire process of picking out songs and finalizing the itinerary. She allowed us to add/change songs all the way up to the event. She was even able to order beautiful drapery for our arch that she installed herself and it looked like something out of a bridal magazine. Kandy took it upon herself to be our wedding coordinator to make sure everything ran smoothly the day of the event. She set up about 4-5 hours before the event and thoroughly checked the sound throughout the venue. She answered people's questions when me and my groom were off doing pictures and other things. She checked in with me and my groom throughout the night to keep us posted on activities coming up so we were prepared ahead of time. She made all of the announcements for our event. My sister-in-law has told us that she wants Your Perfect Party to be at her wedding. I would highly recommend Your Perfect Party for any event! Thank you so much Kandy! :)

In general, Kandy is just so great to work with! She's incredibly kind, helpful, and quick to get back to you. I first learned of her at my brother's wedding. Their reception was so much fun, and Kandy stood out to me because of all the fun games/activities she organized and emceed (shoe game, conga line, soul train, etc). My sister-in-law recommended I go with her for my wedding, and I'm so glad she did! Using Kandy to DJ our reception took a lot of stress and planning off of our shoulders. It was great having someone to direct the reception and simultaneously provide a fun, relaxed atmosphere!

Kandy (Your Perfect Party) has been the DJ for three family weddings. I cannot say enough about her. She was the DJ at my nephews wedding and I got her contact info at his reception so she could do the reception for my daughters wedding. After her wedding I had several people ask about her and tell me what a good job she did. So when my other daughter got engaged, I contacted Kandy to find out her availability before I even booked the venue, because I wanted her that bad. I wouldn't trust anyone else. Not only is she a FABULOUS/ROCKIN' DJ, but she is almost like having a wedding planner too! She works closely with the photographers so they can capture important moments by announcing when the cake is being cut, first dances, etc. Very professional and responsible. I have been to other weddings/events where the DJ was subpar, but having her really made a difference on the fun-factor at our events! Thanks Kandy ... we love you!

3500 characters is not enough to describe Your Perfect Party, much less begin to tell you how amazing they are. From the 1st moment we met Kandy, to go over songs and what they offered, I knew she was the one...DJ that is :). We talked several times before the wedding. She called to check on me frequently and kept asking if I needed any help with anything. She made me feel like I was the only Bride-to-be. The wedding day came and I was so nervous about everything, because that's what us Brides do. The music was perfect, the lighting was phenomenal, and all our guests had an amazing time. Something else she did was take pictures throughout the ceremony, I had no idea that she was until she showed me, and still til this day, one of the photos she took is my favorite. I have so much more to say about Kandy and how personable, accomodating, dependable, and just AMAZING she and her services were. I would use her services for ALL our party needs, without a doubt. If you need a DJ that offers it all and will be there and be dependable, call them. Oh yeah, I made a friend out of all of it, that's PRICELESS. This was truly the best wedding DJ I have ever witnessed! They played great music, made announcements when needed, and set up a great lighting system. My guests told me over and over again that the reception will always be remembered due to the professionalism and entertainment of our wedding DJ!

Kandy was such a pleasure to work with. I was an out of town bride who needed help with the vision, planning, and day of ceremonies and she was more than happy to help. The lighting and decor was amazing. We had her help us with a monogram lighting cutout and her knowledge of fonts made sure our names were actually readable on the ceiling, not blurred like other vendors. The uplighting was perfectly staged to highlight the decor at the Botanical Gardens in Huntsville, AL where we had our reception. The pictures were made all the more beautiful because of the great work. My wedding was a union between two cultures and included family and friends from different generations. That meant the music choices at the wedding had to walk a fine line of non-offensive but still fun for a party. I have been to weddings where questions were raised about the content in the music or the type of music played, but my wedding thankfully was not one where people left the room to avoid the noise or curse words from the speakers. Kandy knows her audience and ensures that the music selection is representative of the bride and groom while still being respectful to those gathered to celebrate. Her manner and kindness was noticed by many of my guests and they appreciated having such an engaged, respectful, and fun DJ coordinating the music of the reception. I would recommend her to anyone in the area and cannot thank her enough for making our day so special.

Kandy was so responsive and easy to work with. She was our DJ and did the photo slide show for our wedding. She got a bunch of Baptists dancing at a dry wedding and was far better than other DJ's I've seen at my friends' weddings-I would definitely recommend her to my friends.

Kandy is an AWESOME DJ!!!! She made our wedding reception so much fun for EVERYONE- young, old, and somewhere in the middle. Very affordable and she is genuinely excited to work with you. I couldn't have gotton a better DJ. Kandy was fabulous! We planned on having our wedding outside, but due to weather, we had to move it in. Kandy came early and had no problem switching the layout due to the change. She lit the room with uplighting beautifully! Since she announced the events coming up, such as cutting the cake, first dance, etc., the guests knew what was coming and didn't leave early. Kandy from Your Perfect Party supplied just as the company's name implies, a perfect party. She was more than helpful with setting up some of the decorations and she keep the tempo of the party at the perfect levels at ever turn. Without her the reception would not have been as great as it was.

I absolutely loved working with Kandy from Your Perfect Party. She was sweet, personable and willing to work with us on everything. Not only did she make everything simple and easy on us, but she went above and beyond helping organize the big event. She never made me feel pressured to buy extra add ons and was very aware of my budget. Every time we spoke I always felt better and less stressed. I LOVED Kandy at Your Perfect Party from the first time I met her! I knew that she would make our wedding as awesome as we imagined it. I never really imagined myself having a wedding, and Kandy taught me Wedding 101. The lighted monogram and Chinese lanterns she hung looked beautiful in our venue! She helped us plan a classy, yet fun reception with a BIG party at the end. The wedding and reception were perfectly organized and flowed amazingly. The music was spot on at every point, and the lighting was so much fun! Kandy made sure our night was exactly like we wanted by checking in with us often, and she rolled with the punches exceptionally well! Our guests had a GREAT time, and we got so many compliments on the party atmosphere. They keep calling it the "wedding of the century," and even the venue owner said it was the best wedding they'd ever had! We made some great memories that will last a lifetime, and we could NEVER have done it without Kandy at Your Perfect Party! She went above and beyond our expectations, and we are overwhelmed with gratitude. My sister is getting married in October, and the first thing I did when we she set the date was check with Kandy to see if she was available, and she was! So we will be partying and having the 2nd wedding of the century in the fall! So excited!!

Our expectations were beyond exceeded. Kandy did so much to help us plan the entire wedding process. She had so many great ideas and yet asked for my input as well. She also gave advice on what we should or shouldn't do to help the wedding ceremony and reception flow well. It was also very important to me that she responded so quickly to my one hundred questions via email. She really took a lot of stress out of my life! The music at the wedding ceremony was absolutely beautiful and very meaningful. All of her equipment sounded great at our outdoor wedding venue. We got TONS of compliments on the ceremony music and how FUN the reception music was to dance to! I have never been at a wedding where more people danced the entire evening. I find this totally awesome because we can say that we definitely had the most fun wedding I have ever been too! There is absolutely nothing bad I can say about this company at all, it was also VERY affordable!!!

Kandy was amazing!! We went into the wedding reception planning with very little idea of what we wanted other than a fun party. Kandy met with us for an hour and basically created a reception event outline for us. Leaving the meeting, we were amazed at the services other than just DJ that she offers. She really is a full party planning service with everything from lighting, to additional venue decorations such as paper lanterns and ceiling décor. From the basic outline, we continued to work through email and text messages to nail down the final details for our reception. She was very easy to work with and very laid back when it came to making changes and going with the flow of the day. She even had a needle and thread handy when the bustle button popped off the wedding dress during the reception. She literally had our reception party going strong so that we were having to usher our friends and family off the dance floor at the end of the reception. We can't say enough to stress her professionalism and attention to detail to actually make this "Your Perfect Party". We highly recommend her for any event!!!

As a former bride-to-be, I always wonder how accurate reviews are when they give a 5 out of 5. I am honestly telling the truth when I say Kandy and Your Perfect Party was the best wedding decision we made!! The price was reasonable and you get more than you could dream of! They were incredibly in tune with my husband and I's feelings on what we were looking/hoping for and they definitely delivered! Not only were we satisfied with our wedding reception, we have been receiving countless complements on how fun our wedding was. She really takes the time to get to know her clients and gets their music choices down immediately. During our sit down dinner, she played love songs from every era that every guest could tap their toes to and recognize. During the dancing portion of our reception, she made sure that every guest was involved in every activity like the first dance, father/daughter, son/mother, generation, etc. We had friends saying that through that type of emceeing they felt like they were part of the family, not just another guest. Another thing we loved about Kandy is that she checked on us every so often during the reception to make sure we were having a good time. She understands that the bride and groom are her most important clients and that meant the world to us. We did the can under lights with soft color transitions and the monogrammed light. It truly brought a whole different level of elegance than we could have even hoped for. Seeing those additions with the rest of our reception venue truly blew us away! (Just a hint of those future bride and grooms who are looking for a way to entertain their guests, I highly recommend asking to do the newlywed game. It was a huge hit with our family and friends!) I would recommend DJ Kandy and Your Perfect Party to anyone planning a wedding! I booked Kandy for both our ceremony and reception music and couldn't be happier. Kandy answered my numerous questions about song choice and order, and provided suggestions based off her experience with her other weddings. On the day of, Kandy was continuously responsive to our guests' energy and selected music to either get more people dancing, or to give everyone a break if they needed it. She even accommodated some extra requests that I had- mainly to announce my grandparent's 55th wedding anniversary, surprise a friend with a birthday announcement, and congratulate another friend and her husband who were celebrating their first anniversary.I really had THE BEST TIME dancing at my wedding.. It feels like I left the best party too early and now all I want to do is go back, EVERY DAY.

My husband and I still cannot believe how amazing our reception turned out to be. Kandy really did a great job playing songs to get people out on the dance floor! Kandy did such an amazing job at our wedding. I could not have picked someone better to do our wedding. She played everything on our favorites and everything was perfect! Kandy was VERY professional. She met with me several times to make sure my day would be perfect, and it WAS! Dancing is my favorite thing about weddings, so it was really important to me that everyone have a great time dancing. Kandy definitely made that happen. The soul train line was AWESOME! She also did some uplighting for us. Beautiful!

My family came from all over the globe and I wanted to visit with them instead of dance and the DJ didnt appreciate it. But she did a fantastic job planning the music and kept the guests entertained
