She kept everything flowing the day of the wedding, including providing direction where needed, helping set up and break down and making sure, as the bride, that all things were good to go. It was so nice to have someone trustworthy helping with all of the details. I did not feel an ounce of stress that day and owe a lot of it to Katie. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a coordinator!

We met a couple times before the wedding and she was helpful with our timeline, details of the day and following up with vendors. She also introduced us to a great website where we were able to upload our contracts and contact information to keep everything in one spot. She helped me before the wedding know what I needed to bring day of... tips for vendors, dietary restrictions, etc so that I had all of that done before the actual wedding day. She came to rehearsal and helped with the order of events and communicated with the venue and the people in the wedding party to make sure everyone knew their responsibilities. Then came the wedding day! KATIE WAS AWESOME! She was prompt, stayed until the end, loaded my car with everything we needed to take home, took care of the gifts, cards, etc, calmed everyones nerves, helped with direction, helped with set up, kept in touch but didn't bother me with tiny unimportant details, and made sure everything in the bridal area was cleaned up before we left. She has a sense of calm and has enough experience to know exactly what needs done. She also helped with flowers and where those were going at the end of the evening. There was NEVER a time I couldn't count on Katie during the whole year long process, She returned every email and phone call promptly and answered every question I had. I was beyond pleased!

halfway through my wedding planning before thinking about getting a coordinator…I thought I could do it all myself. I spoke with A LOT of coordinators and they reaffirmed that I could do it myself. I had one person left on my list and it was Katie at Your Perfect Wedding Day. After our conversation, I realized that it wasn’t that I didn’t need a coordinator, it was that I needed a Katie and I signed the contract that night. I called, emailed, and texted at all times of day and night and she always got right back to me with the best advice. Our second face to face meeting she actually made the trek to my house so I could show her some of my décor and we could figure out where it would all go. Having Katie on my side was like a thousand pounds lifted off of my shoulders. She ran my rehearsal perfectly, gathered all of the guys together easily, and made us feel so comfortable. When I woke up at 3am the early morning of my wedding day, texting her with additional thoughts, she already had it covered. Katie handled all of my vendors and had conversations I didn’t want to, put up décor, packed things up, made sure we were where we were supposed to be at all times, and was definitely my person to turn to if I needed anything on one of the most important days of my life. I’ve already recommended Katie to everyone I know getting married, but for those I don’t know, you can’t go wrong with her and making this new friend out of someone you thought was just a wedding coordinator. She even had her equally wonderful husband help us with setup when we told her we needed to assemble a big ol chuppah on site for our ceremony. All these details were immensely appreciated, but the most important thing to me was that she calmed my parents so much and made sure they enjoyed the day just as much as we did! Icing on the cake...my husband and I missed the chance to eat any of our carefully selected pies during the reception, but this lady had hidden a pie away just for us to make sure we got to enjoy one the next day! I cannot say enough great things about Katie and all she did to make a hectic process as fun and easy as possible. Do yourself a favor and hire her!

e stresses of planning everything long distance completely overwhelmed me. Katie immediately calmed my nerves and was my saving grace throughout the entire planning and day-of process. Building up to the wedding - Katie gave me recommendations for every single vendor that I needed - all of her recommendations were right on par with what I wanted and everyone she suggested to me did an amazing job. Katie also helped me think of all of the little things that I would have never thought of and freaked out about the day of the wedding - from making sure my bridesmaids had lunch at our salon the day of the wedding (which she voluntarily personally ordered and delivered!) to making sure there was a card holder for cash and check gifts the day of the wedding. The day of the wedding - Ceremony: Katie had walked us through our entire ceremony the night before the wedding at the rehearsal (and thank goodness she did because it would have been a disaster without her!). On the day of the wedding, her smile and ease immediately calmed any remaining nerves I had. She made sure that everything was perfectly in place, set up the candy bar, and made sure that the ceremony went off flawlessly. Because of her - I had nothing to worry about - I knew I was in good hands! Candy bar: I don't even know where to begin! We really wanted a candy bar at our wedding, but I was overwhelmed at the prospect of figuring it all out. Katie took care of all of the bags (which were personalized!), the jars, the candy, the labels for the candy, the lights to surround the candy bar (which she thought of!), and the setup - needless to say, it looked incredible and I got a million compliments on it! I would recommend Your Perfect Wedding Day (specifically Katie Mulchek!), hands down, to any bride!

300 people headed there the next day! Needless to say it was a stressful morning when we received this news! I thought I had to worry about everything but Katie took care of it all! She spoke to the event coordinators at the venue and helped find a new location, get everything moved from previous location. I mean EVERYTHING! She made sure the candy bar, all the signage, place cards, table numbers, baskets of flipflops etc., made it over. She rerouted the chair delivery to new venue, printed directions to new reception location for each program at the church, all while getting the word out of the change to guests! She contacted all of our vendors, florist, cake, driver, hotel shuttle, etc.! She was AMAZING! You would think this would be a brides nightmare and ruin her big day but NO, Katie made this seamless! I had no idea so much was going on! She made my day perfect when it started out so terrifying! She literally saved my wedding day! I could not have asked for a better day of planner! I highly, highly recommend her services!
