Communication is rough. You start out emailing with the main person but then at some point you end up emailing with her assistant and the two them must not communicate because then...
you have the other person also emailing you with the same list of questions that you have already answered for the one person. So communication is awful. You’re supposed to get a tasting of your food and they have you select the items you want to taste but when you go to pickup the give you two of the items and say they will reach out when they have another event that has the same items you asked for so that you can come sample from that food versus them preparing it for your tasting. Well they never reached out about that so we never got taste everything.
As for the actual day of the staff running the buffet was very nice. However they did not bring enough sodas to our event and ran out of the main soda that people were asking for so that was disappointing.
It’s unfortunate that the owner has such poor communication skills and takes things personally; I really had high hopes of using their services, but in the end it was a relationshi...
p that had to be cut. Make sure you ask for invoices and signed contracts before pursuing. The professionalism is captivating from social media posts, but it is a different atmosphere once you are handling business in person.
Lisa and staff were amazing! Food was delicious. Staff was so helpful with cleanup. Planning was smooth as well. Removed alot of my stress! Would definitely use them again.
Thanks
Lisa helped give us the wedding of our dreams! She went out and bought new rose gold linens because I had wanted them so badly for our sweetheart table. She gave us the most delici...
ous nacho bar for our happy hour because it is an inside joke between my husband and I. She also sat down with us multiple times to make sure that our day was as perfect as it could be. She really cares about her customers. I am so glad that I chose Your Personal Chef as my caterer!
My husband and I are so glad we found Lisa and used Your Personal Chef for our wedding on June 24th at Thousand Acre Farms! She was great to work with in the planning stage - she w...
as flexible and understanding and so helpful! She has a wide variety of menu items, and all are fantastic - we tried a lot at our tasting! Lisa provided delicious food, a beautiful set up, and a professional and friendly staff all at a great price. We couldn't be happier!
My Wife and I had a November Wedding in 2017. We started looking for Caterers that could work with a budget and still deliver great food. YPC came highly recommended. I worked with...
Lisa and we went over what was needed and how many people. All it took was one call and she continued to communicate with me consistently up to the day of delivery.
First off she arrived on Location on time like promised and had it all setup for us. Really took alot of the stress off on the wedding day. Second everyone LOVED the food. It was fantastic especially considering the cost. We spent less than $13.00 a person and had TONS of extra food. This included apps, salads, and main courses.
I highly recommend Your Personal Chef for anyone that needs quality and affordable catering. I know if I have any future events they will be my first call. Thanks so much for making our Wedding Reception awesome!
I am cross-posting this review from Facebook:
We used Your Personal Chef for appetizers and salads for our wedding in September. Lisa was a pleasure to work with and everything we...
nt perfect. We had a tasting beforehand and the food was delicious. On the day of, Lisa prepared a separate tray for our bridal party to make sure they also had food. Anything we asked for, she was able to make it happen. She is very flexible and that is exactly what we needed. We also ended up getting lunch for the day of the wedding catered since we didn't have time to eat while getting ready. This food, of course, was also great. She is very knowledgable on how much food should be served and we could not have been happier! Thanks Lisa!
Lisa Welch and everyone over at Your Personal Chef made my wedding day a dream. My husband and I were married at The Tea Barn in Elkton, MD on 6/25/16. We wanted to find a caterer ...
close to the venue and after doing a lot of research we came across Lisa. I called and spoke with her and set up a meeting. We went in with a ton of questions and a lot of anxiety about this process and she put us right at ease. She answered every question and made me feel so comfortable. And the best part was, she helped us with so much more than our food. We hired her with her "full service" option. That included all of the food, set up, clean up, linens, dishes, tea, coffee, water, waiters to keep the venue clean throughout the night etc, and a bartender for the night. She went above and beyond and got us in contact with a woman who does cakes for only her customers (Margie who made us the most beautiful, delicious, and affordable cake), and one of the women who work with her, Eleanor, also happens to be a retired florist and we used her for all of our flowers which were fresh, flawless, and also very affordable. I can't say enough good things about our experience with everyone. Lisa in all intents and purposes became like a day of coordinator for us as well and she made sure everything was perfect when we walked through the door. Please use this company for all of your catering needs they are the epitome of professionalism, good customer service, and all around delicious food.
They catered our rehearsal dinner at the Comfort Inn in North East, MD. Everything they made was superb, and were very willing to make things that weren't on their menu. There wa...
