y are a husband and wife team and Liz is pregnant. But Wes said they would "give it a try" for ours. This didn't make me feel very at ease since I was already stressed out enough with having to postpone the wedding and everything going on with Covid. Wes was not honest with me at first that this meant that his wife would not be shooting the wedding but eventually it came out he was "working on getting a second shooter" to stand in her place. He never even confirmed this with me.
As the weeks have passed, and this pandemic has dragged on, we have now decided to cancel our wedding. We are not local to the FL and my entire family would have to travel from Canada for the wedding. We ourselves would have to travel from the west coast (California) and then quarantine when we get back. Right now, the Canada/U.S border is CLOSED. So we would have to have the wedding without my entire family. Thankfully, given our circumstances, the majority of our vendors were understanding of this when it comes to refunding deposits. But not YSBU. Wes has refused to answer my texts and phone calls and completely ghosted us when we asked to work with them regarding the deposit. He was not even willing to discuss the situation and be a professional about this. We have been very respectful and just want to discuss options with him, we never even demanded our deposit back. We understand everyone is hurting financially from this pandemic.
I hope by reading this review you reconsider booking YSBU for your wedding. Planning a wedding right now in the midst of this pandemic is already stressful enough without working with people who provide such pitiful customer service. If something happens to you or anyone in your family know that YSBU will not be understanding of your situation whatsoever and keep whatever deposit they have gotten from you. You can expect them to just ghost you too. Save yourself the stress!

I can’t tell you how many photography sites I looked at that offered the exact same photos: very staged, very boring. Wes and Liz stand out with their camera angles, ability to capture the light in the right ways, and artistic eye. They don’t believe in the “put your arm here, and you look there, and freeze!” They encourage you to whisper sweet nothings, smile at your future spouse, and REALLY get into the moment. This may not sound like a big deal, but this is how real model photo shoots are done (so I hear).
They are also just delightful people. We had so many laughs with them on our wedding day, and they really knew how to keep us on track and calm despite the excitement and fast pace of the wedding day. I am beyond excited to see the photos from our wedding. People are STILL talking about how we have the most exotic and magnificent engagement pictures they’ve ever seen. We were swimming in the ocean during the most incredible sunset. Who has engagement photos like that?!

elaxed and made us feel at ease. They were efficient and we did not spend hours or multiple takes getting the pictures that we wanted. I would 100% use them again if I had the chance. us a link with previous weddings they had shot at our venue. We were totally hooked. We met them for engagement pictures which were part of our photography package. I was really nervous because I don’t typically like pictures of myself. They were both so much fun, so easy going, and took all the pressure off. Once we got the engagement photos back, we were completely blown away. They captured the most gorgeous shots, neat angles, beautiful sunset, and made my husband and I look fantastic! I felt a huge weight of nervousness lifted off me because I knew the wedding pictures would be great if they could work such magic with the engagement shots. I started referring to them as our magicians instead of our photographers. Our wedding pictures exceeded all my hopes! It actually got a little awkward showing them off to people because everyone kept calling them the best wedding pictures they had ever seen (even our married friends)! The pictures were truly outstanding; we got all the typical posed family portraits in addition to really cool couples photos, awesome action photos, and beautiful moments that happened all throughout the day. Wes and Liz were so easy to work with, in fact, they really saved me with their timeline advice and coordinated flawlessly with our other vendors. Wes and Liz are lucky that my husband and I aren’t local to Florida or else they would never get rid of us, we would be trying to be their new best friends! They really were a wonderful addition to our day, never pushy, open to changes in the schedule and very flexible throughout the whole day. I give them the highest possible recommendation. Go ahead and book them now, you will be SO glad you did!!!

I basically stalked them for a week trying to book them (they were at a photography conference at the time I made my initial inquiry) but I am so glad I did because they've been fantastic. From our engagement shoot to the wedding itself, Wes and Liz have just been an incredible part of our team. They were able to make my husband(!) and I look like we weren't incredibly awkward in front of the camera (which...believe me, I was) and their photography style is just...breathtaking. They're easy-going, relaxed and relaxing (both are important, in my opinion), and I truly felt like they were two friends of mine doing me a favor and not like I was just another bride at another wedding just getting the same old photos taken. I cannot say enough wonderful things about them. I honestly want them to photograph all my major events in life just so I can pretend they're my friends. That's how awesome they are. nal, but also laid back enough to have fun with us. The pictures turned out great and I used them as part of our charity donation wedding favors. For the wedding photos, Wes and Liz showed up to document the entire days events. They began in my hotel room with the getting ready process for my bridesmaids and me. Then they were with my fiance and his groomsmen. I was very concerned about the pictures of the ceremony and did not want to disturb my guests with a photographer in their way. I did not even notice them at all during the ceremony, but the pictures are amazing. After the ceremony, we had family pictures. Then began the real photos during the sunset of my wedding party and my husband and me. Those photos are truly breathtaking. The photos were actually delivered within 7 days of my wedding. Not sure if this is normal, but it was very unexpected (in a good way). Thanks Wes and Liz!
