They make the day very stress free and are so knowledgeable of good places in STL to take photos. Our pictures are STUNNING and capture every moment we would have wanted. We received our photos back in less than 3 weeks as well, which was amazing for the number of photos we got! Hiring Your Story was one of the best decisions we made!

Collora of Natalie’s brides for our wedding planner. We loved Natalie and hired her and between the three of them they recommended the best vendors we could have hoped for. But in a wedding full of wonderful vendors there are anchors…and Jeremy and Melisa and Natalie were the anchors that made everything flow seamlessly and made my daughters wedding absolutely flawless and perfect . Oh…and their photography is out of this world amazing! There aren’t enough words to explain how wonderful and talented they are. I can’t recommend them highly enough! Melissa helped me in and out of my shoes when my feet hurt, she helped find glue for my eyelash when it started to come off, she helped me during my dress change, kept us on time and most of all cool, calm and collected! They work so perfect as a team. It was cool to see them hit every detail and help each other see different things from different angles. Finding a wedding photographer that we 'clicked with' was the most difficult part of wedding planning for me - until I had my first phone call with Jeremy. I instantly felt comfortable, like I was talking to a friend. I'm trying to figure out what other events we could get photographed so we can see them again, lol (but seriously). HIRE THIS COMPANY! It’s the biggest day of your life, and you have to find someone who you trust to document ten or so hours of your life that you can’t do a “second take.” And that means everything must be perfect, and while nothing in life is perfect, my wife and I picked the perfect people to document the best day of our lives. It doesn’t matter if you’re in a business setting, or on a personal level, comfortability is everything, and that is where Jeremy and Melisa shine. It was incredibly reassuring knowing that while so much was going on around us during the day, we could trust them to call the rights shots to make sure everything was photographed and captured Perfectly; and it was. As your reading this, you know weddings are expensive, and you’ll have to deceiver what works in your budget and what doesn’t. Do yourself and a favor and don’t skimp on the photographers. Throughout the day, Jeremy and Melisa served as of course the photographers, but much more… They guided us and our wedding party through a few hoops, but never lost their cool. In fact, while the wedding party was running late to the ceremony, my wife’s lipstick fell on her dress. While people were understandably freaking out, Melisa kept her cool by pinning the dress, completely concealing the red stain. Meg said Melisa literally saved the day. As the day progressed, my wife and I kept saying to each other how glad we were that we hired “Your Story.” Their presence was there, but it wasn’t. Jeremy and Melisa captured every moment of the biggest day of our lives while being a fly on the wall. They made suggestions to us, but weren’t pushy. At the end of day, we trusted Jeremy and Melisa to capture and document the most precious 24 hours we’ve ever endured, and they did exactly that, plus some. “Your Story” isn’t just the name of the company, it’s their backbone and what they stand for…meaning it’s your day, it’s your life, it’s your moment, they just aspire to capture it to the fullest… and they certainly did for that us.

I plan. Obviously, my wedding was no exception. They were beyond incredible. We had friends who aren’t even engaged yet asking for their card. We felt comfortable getting photos taken and felt like we got so many good shots without sacrificing time with our guests. I surprised my husband with our dogs as ring bearers and it made me a crazy person the hour before the ceremony thinking that after months of keeping it a secret it would be ruined by him seeing them right before. Jeremy and Melisa were on top of it and made sure it went smoothly. When I talked with Jeremy about the wedding he said that not only was Melisa a great second shooter, but that she also would have everything we needed the day of. He was not joking, her tide pen helped get out a huge stain on my dress that happened during the ceremony. I could go on and on about how amazing they were. If you have the opportunity I would definitely hire them ASAP.

They used their experience in the field to make our lives easier and helped us think about planning things we wouldn’t have thought about otherwise – ensuring our day was perfect when it arrived. They are incredibly easy to get along with, courteous, respectful, and a whole lot of fun! The photos came back faster than advertised, and our photos are better than we could have ever imagined. After the wedding, the father of the bride even commented on how phenomenal the photographers were on our wedding day, saying they would be his first recommendation for anyone looking for a photographer.

. They were so flexible and accommodating as we went through the process of rescheduling our wedding due to COVID. The communication was great from start to finish. Our package came with an engagement session, but because we live out of town, we opted to use it during our Welcome Party the night before the wedding. Jason captured some great candid photos of friends and family, but also let us sneak away for a few engagement-like photos in the park. Jason and Emily were our photographers for our wedding day, and they did an amazing job keeping us on time, providing light instruction to keep photos natural, and setting up beautiful shots. Nothing felt forced on the day of, and the photos we received reflect that. They even made sure we got some photos outside during a short break in the rain - these are some of our favorites from the entire weekend! We got our gallery within just a few weeks, which was amazing! Jeremy and Melisa are helping us put together our album, and we're confident it will be beautiful. On the whole, they really are pros at capturing the "story" of your wedding day! Worth every penny!
