r ceremony and did a beautiful job and the day went off without a hitch but everything else was very frustrating and unprofessional. (I highly recommend Gumnut Gatherings!)
Our initial phone consultation went well and we were excited to work with the team, but at about a month out, we had to request drafts of the ceremony to start reviewing. When we did receive drafts, one of them was an exact copy of another couples' ceremony complete with personal details, inside jokes and their dog's name. When I pointed this out and asked for another draft, Julia apologized, resent us the draft with the personal details removed and an additional version to choose from. The additional version was also not proofread and at the end it pronounced us "husband and husband" - in our case, it's husband and wife.
We independently rewrote our ceremony taking bits from the drafts Julia sent us and I emailed it back to her and heard nothing for another 2 weeks. I reached out again less than a week before the wedding asking if she received our draft, who would officiate for us and requested to touch base and heard nothing for another day or two, when my coordinator got involved and attempted to reach out to Julia.
Throughout the process, Julia always had an excuse for her lack of communication - she told us how she had a cold, or there was an emergency or she didn't have service or they were short officiants because of covid... it was a very frustrating and unprofessional process. Thankfully Skii came through (5 days before the wedding) and took over.

ested someone else, but we didn’t quite feel like we fit, so the search continued. I ended up putting out a PSA on Facebook bridal page which is where I found Julia and Your Wedding Belles. She was quick to respond and we met up quickly to discuss our options. It was so great meeting her and felt like we connected immediately. She listened to our story, took notes, and felt genuinely interested in performing our wedding ceremony.
We hired her and loved our ceremony. She is quick to respond and took in all our considerations for the day. We wanted to make sure we had her and no one else after our meeting, we wanted to incorporate a group champagne toast at the beginning of the ceremony, and have hand-fasting ceremony (big Scottish Outlander fans here). She did it all and it was beautiful! She sent over 3 different outlines of ceremonies to gage which direction we wanted to go in and then she personalized it from there. It was fantastic!
The only downfall I would say is that I wish she went over both of our vows to see how they matched up in timing. My vows were much longer than my husbands which got us really behind schedule so that would have been helpful to stay on time. However, I guess I could have asked, but I didn’t think about it at the time.
At the end of the ceremony, everything was very organized in getting everyone to sign. Then, she took all the documents and sent them in herself and we didn’t have to worry about it. We are very pleased with our services and highly recommend Julia!

like she didn’t even really remember our story or what we wanted. The ceremony was flawless without mistakes. Afterward she came off very business promoting like without the authenticity of connecting with us as a couple. Also, the marriage certificates were not placed back safely Into the folder they were in, and the folder was lost somehow, and thankfully the papers were not damaged. I loved her presentation I just wish she spent more time getting to know us to be able to laugh and joke and give us that fun ceremony we were hoping for!

The day of the wedding was absolutely perfect. Julia was professional - on time and was ready to go! The way she officiated the wedding was absolutely beautiful, and the way she painted the picture of love was perfect. If we could get married 10 more times, we’d pick Julia to officiate each of our weddings! She made our day so much more special than we ever thought possible, and we were so pleased with how kind and warm she was.
If you’re looking for an officiant, we couldn’t recommend her or Your Wedding Belles more!

BUT the day of came, and first she got LATE, I was streaming the ceremony and everybody was logged in and she wouldn't come, when she finally appeared, she first started to talk to the photographer to give out her card instead of marrying us.
THE WORST PART, is that she didn't take her job seriously, we didn't get our marriage certificate in the period of time she and the county told us, so my husband contacted her and I contacted the county, she said something to my husband and the county told me they didn't have my record. SHE NEVER SENT MY PAPERS, until 1 month after the wedding.
because of this, we met the deadline so my husband couldn't add me to his health insurance, and most importantly since i am going trough a greencard process, SHE MADE ME WASTE A MONTH, a month that I payed my lawyer for doing nothing.

Instead of just sending over a pre-made script she took the time to really hear our story, and understand what we were looking for in terms of our marriage. She is a wonderful communicator, and absolutely put me at ease throughout the entire process. She was professional, calm, radiated kindness... everything you want your officiant to encompass. bout how we met, our personalities, what keeps us together, what our likes and dislikes are and various other things to get to know us, and we immediately felt at ease with her. Closer to the wedding she sent us a variety of options for the wording of the ceremony and was very open to changes - she even let us send her our vows to approve! Even despite a family emergency and additional pressure on her on the wedding day, she was calm and professional throughout, gave a wonderful ceremony and beautiful words, she made our guests laugh and feel comfortable and talking to her felt like talking to a good friend even though we had only met in person once the day before the wedding. She was extremely efficient with the paperwork as well and helped us get our marriage certificate very quickly, which we were extremely grateful for! I can’t recommend Julia enough, the perfect officiant for the perfect day! ❤️
