Your Wedding Officiant

Your Wedding Officiant is me: Rev. Dr. Brenda Wells, based in Chocowinity, NC, in Eastern NC. I am approximately three hours from Wilmington. I prefer to work in the Greenville/Washington/New Bern/Atlantic Beach/Beaufort/Emerald Isle areas, but am happy to give you a no-obligation price quote on any destination. I hold a Ph.D. in business, and I have been ordained by the Universal Life Church since 2019. I am non-denominational, and I will always put you first in the planning process. I am, after all, "Your Wedding Officiant." I marry persons of all races, all gender identities, and I am LGBTQ+ friendly. All I care about is that the day turn out the way you want it to, and that you look back on your event with nothing but joyous memories! I perform secular, religious, and blended ceremonies. I do not have a set wedding script or set of vows--everything I write is original and unique to you and your partner If you use my services, I promise to make the ceremony everything you want--and more! I always include vows that you can edit (or discard) as you see fit. My process is very simple and generally painless--you answer some questions for me, and then I craft a ceremony and vows for you that includes your favorite quotes, verses, lyrics, memories, and most anything else that's meaningful to you! You can edit it any way you see fit, we can add to it, subtract from it, and, we can even start over if you don't like my first attempt.
