Austin and his team were absolutely amazing! I can't see us having a better experience with any other videographer. I was initially skeptical about getting a videographer for our wedding, but it turned out that Austin became my favorite vendor!
He was truly able to capture our style to make our forever film. My wife and I just kept watching it on repeat. He was so easy and receptive to communicate with - he listened and understood all of our requests perfectly. He even reached out to one of my favorite artists to get rights to use his music on our video.
When we got our video, it was amazing! There were some initial edits we asked for... we thought it would only be a few, but after putting together the list, it turned out to be quite extensive. We felt needy after already getting an amazing first edit. We offered to compensate for all the extra asks and understood that some might not be realistic. He responded with, "I truly mean it when we say we want this to be a forever film, so we're 100% committed to making it as perfect as we can!" He did EVERYTHING on the list, and refused to let us pay extra.
We feel blessed to have Austin film our wedding. He made our video truly unique to us :) ... and now we get to remember it, share it with our family, and our future kids for the rest of our days. Thank you, Austin!! <3
If you like the style of Yugen Productions (yes, you do), then you can't find a better videographer regardless of the price.
Initially, we hadn’t planned to hire a videographer for our micro-wedding in the Smokies, but a couple months before our wedding a friend convinced us we should and we decided to hire Austin. We are so glad we did! First off, Austin is just a great guy and brought such a fun and chill presence to our wedding day. And our wedding video is beautiful. Austin did an amazing job of capturing our day and our personalities through the video. I definitely cried when I watched it, and I know my best friend did too. Since we only had immediate family at our wedding, it's also been so nice to be able to share the highlight video with our extended family and friends.
If you’re on the fence about hiring a videographer, do it. It’s worth the investment and Austin will deliver an amazing video that you’ll watch time and time again.

Yugen Productions is a wedding videography service based in Knoxville and Sevierville TN.
We have a few major goals for all of our couples:
1. Make sure the pre-wedding experience is great. Easy to book, flexible payment portal, and trustworthiness, so you know you chose a company that's right for you. We don't book every wedding because we want to make sure we're the right videographer for you!
2. To ensure the day of feels natural, fun, stress free, and also really really fun!! We're going to be close by all day, so it's important that you like us lol. We want you to be comfortable and we do our style doesn't invovle spending hours getting those hero shots that look like a hollywood blockbuster. That's not us. We capture real, authentic, beautiful moments and often times you'll have had no idea we were even there to capture it.
3. We delivery a product that reflects YOU. Becaue decades later.. friends and family can look back on a time that no longer exists... but may be the reason the person exists at all. This is not only a post wedding celebration, it's a anniversary tradition, an heirloom for your potential kids. Our goal is that decades after we're all gone, a wedding film or two will still be floating around giving people hope that real love is worth it. I'd give anything to get to see my 20 something year old parents celebrating such a special day. A day that started a family that eventually brought me here. Filming your wedding.

Yugen Productions is an East Tennessee company. We don't send your footage to another country to edit for us. We are a small team, all local, that works together through the entire process to ensure you're getting consistent, quality, wedding videos that stand the test of time. We love what we do and we're thankful you're reading about us! We're an open book, so feel free to ask us any questions. Afterall... it's not everyday you have someone follow you around with a camera.
We have a pricing sheet available and do our best to let you know very close to what we cost. A few things we want you to know though is that we do elopements, microweddings, and full day weddings. Microweddings and Elopements vary drastically! So, those we have to quote after we learn a little more about your plans, but for most of our couples the Wedding Film Guide will get you really close on price!
To emphasize how much we love the vast array of uniqueness and quirkyness of our couples... I personally married my wife in a Taco Bell Cantina Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas. Best day of my life.

Hi. I'm Austin. I consider getting to preserve an experience through video of two people getting married one of my greatest joys in life. I truly love getting to experience weddings with couples from every walk of life imaginable. Rewind almost 10 years prior and I'll find myself on the way back to Tennessee from a 6,000+ mile camping trip to California... It was in the middle of new mexico that I decided to officially found Yugen Productions. The word Yugen means: To have a profound awareness of the universe that triggers feelings too deep and mysterious for words. I remember it when I was a kid seeing the ocean for the first time. Since then it's shown up on many national park trips, meteor shower watching, learning about space, human history, and sometimes just hearing stories about how people ended up together... often in the most unpredictable ways. It's a feeling you may know and its something I felt again on my wedding day. I just couldn't believe after 30 years of being on the planet I got to experience on of life's greatest joys. To get married! I hope to invoke that feeling for you.. Especially watching your wedding film, decades later, remembering that love prevailed against all odds for two strangers on this wonderfully strange blue rock.
