COVID-19 planning, Yvonne was incredible though it all! Very understanding and working with us as the date changed and all the fun that surrounded that. She also allowed time to capture the details, the people, the dancing, the cake cutting, garter/bouquet toss, etc! r, so it made me so happy to be able to look through some highlights less than 12 hours later and relive it. Obviously it helps that the photos are STUNNING, and as people who have never had professional photos taken of us I wasn't sure how we'd look on camera, Yvonne was able to direct us so that we'd feel comfortable in front of the camera, and let me tell you, we looked gooooood. Yvonne also pretty much played as our wedding coordinator by keeping us on schedule for the first half of the day until we got to our venue (we got ready and did first look at a hotel nearby our venue). She also went above and beyond by going to our hotel and venue the day before our wedding to scope out all of the best places to take all of our photos. As a couple whose parents are both divorced Yvonne made all of the family photos SUPER comfortable and was able to efficiently and comfortably direct everyone in and out of group photos. Yvonne was also able to work very well side by side our videographer, working together they could both get what they needed simultaneously. She travels everywhere, guys, so don't hesitate to contact her! I'm so excited to see the rest of our photos! Yvonne, you are the best!

We live in Colorado so planning a wedding in a different state was really hard, but Yvonne made it easier by requesting we meet with her while in town. Meeting with her made it obvious she was the photographer for us. She was easy to talk to, be around, and instantly made us feel comfortable. Her work was extraordinary and we knew that because she treated us as friends we would feel comfortable enough to have relaxed and beautiful wedding photos. Throughout the year Yvonne kept in touch with us, even sending an incredibly thoughtful almost-married care package. The month of our wedding she sent a survey to get a feel of what kinds of photos we wanted the day of. This constant communication made us feel so at ease with her, and helped us trust her with a task as big as documenting our wedding. The day of Yvonne was pleasant, fun, and really easy to work with. She directed us and I'm sure she got amazing photos based on the attention she paid to finding us beautiful lighting. When drunk family members threatened to derail our timeline she handled them wonderfully, and when our food service ran painfully behind we spotted Yvonne running around with a tray to make sure everyone was fed on time. She went more than above and beyond. There are not enough words of gratitude I could say, except that if you are planning a wedding you would be incredibly wise to trust her with your photos. I haven't even seen the pictures she's taken yet, and I'm so impressed with her I feel confident writing a review already. She really is the best I could have ever imagined having, and exceeded my wildest expectations.

our wedding. I was a bit nervous at first when we showed up on the day of our engagement shoot because my husband (ahhh, still feels weird to say that) and I aren’t very PDA type people. So imagining a stranger zooming into our faces while we were locking lips made us both a bit uncomfortable. Yvonne made us feel so at ease. It was like she was a longtime friend joking the whole time and making us laugh. We didn’t even think about the fact that she was taking pictures. Really genuine, caring, and super willing to work with you. She even helped us with our decorations the day before the wedding! (Who does that? I mean, that above and beyond the call of duty!) I read all the reviews I could find, and we all had the same thing to say about Yvonne. She is truly a Gem! The kind you that you can trust and would want to be be friends with for the rest of your life. 4. DEDICATED - Yvonne came out the day before the wedding to the venue and scoped out the area and planned all the picture taking locations. She even was the first to arrive on site. 5. PHOTOS - The photos were ready for us to order in less than a month. And I can say, that the composition and surrounding environment of the photos just blew me away. She really was able to capture and focus our wedding pictures and frame it in such a way that just brought out the magical place where we got married. And although I don't remember it being that way (I mean there was so much distraction in actuality), but when I look at those pictures, I think, wow - I really got married in a really special place - and I just really appreciated our venue that much more. Yvonne was the ONLY one who immediately asked to set up a call with me to discuss the details. * Since we were getting married out of town and only had a 10-person wedding planned, we had a few marriage locations in mind that were public and outdoors, but we were not planning to view them in detail and make a decision until a day before the wedding. Yvonne took it upon herself to drive to the three locations we were thinking of and to call me with detailed feedback (& send me photos) a week before the wedding. *Yvonne has a warmth about her that puts people at ease. Our family is not the most extroverted and Yvonne was able to make everyone feel comfortable enough not only to participate in photos but to enjoy it. My husband, for example, hates taking photos--so much so that we only have a handful of photos together and we've been together 8 years! Yvonne was able to get tons of posed photos of him even though he had told me beforehand he only wanted to do candid photos. But we both had so much fun taking these photos! I'm so grateful for this because I love the photos I have of him from our wedding day! *Our officiant was late (in fact, she forgot she was officiating that day!); what could have been a very scary and awkward moment was made light and happy by Yvonne taking control and using the opportunity to take more family photos. As you can see, Yvonne is a gem. I truly and highly recommend her.

Her talent for photography is evident as you view her website, in addition to her wedding photography she has some beautiful work from her travels... I liked knowing that the photographer I was using isn't following a formula and has the ability to take amazing pictures in any setting. Right off the bat, Yvonne was amazing to work with. She is so friendly and upbeat, she makes you feel like you've known her for years. My husband and I did engagement pictures with her a few months before the wedding. He's not always comfortable in front of the camera, but she immediately put him at ease and we loved our pics.
