, non-cheesy wedding music! I knew Travis spent some time in Greece, but I also knew how hard it could be to play ethnic, non-American music that everyone enjoys. I sent Travis my Spotify playlist of traditional music (there was a lot of options), and Travis knew EXACTLY what to play and when. He read the room, he knew the vibe, and he EXCELLED. It's as if this man was 100% Greek and Albanian. He knew when to transition songs, when to make announcements, etc. He is very detail-oriented, organized, professional, and talented! Having the right DJ is so important! It sets the tone and the mood for the entire night. My wedding guests had a BLAST!!! We are so fortunate to have had Travis and Z Brothers Entertainment as part of our amazing day! Thank you!!

We also had Ray as a Guitarist / Singer for our Ceremony music and Cocktail hour and WOW, was he incredible! He even took the time to learn a new song just for us! We felt so special and honored that he would do that for his couples. He has a beautiful voice and is amazing at guitar. I highly recommend Z Brothers for all your music needs and definitely recommend getting Ray as well! If you are looking for a DJ and Guitarist/Singer, look no further, these guys are amazing and we are so thankful they were there to start the party and keep it going all night!

fessional. With COVID forcing us to reschedule from our original date in April to later in September and reduce our guest count, we knew there would be many people not able to attend. When we decided to hire someone to help with a livestream, Travis jumped on a zoom call with all of us and reassured us that the technical side of connecting audio to the livestream was taken care of. We were well heard during the ceremony, had special songs well timed from recessional to first dances, and had a great list of songs for us to choose from that were all fun to hear played as we danced the night away. He was polite and took requests as we allowed, and was a fun presence to have on site all day! We cannot recommend the professional quality of Z Brothers and their DJ's enough.

He also stepped in quickly before the reception to make sure he could pronounce everyone in the bridal party name correctly. Something we really appreciated! He played the whole reception off the top of his head and there wasn’t one song where the dance floor was empty. Our reception was so much fun, and Bill had EVERYONE out on the dance floor. We would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a DJ in the area.

r wedding to over the logistics of the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. He seemed to really get the feel we were going for and the type of music we wanted. Bill suggested we ask our guests as they were being seated to not take out their cell phones during the ceremony, to be “unplugged.” It was not something we had thought of, but I must say it was very nice to look over at the guests during the middle of our ceremony and not see all their phones up recording us. It was a great suggestion!

us as a couple and answer us honestly. We were lucky enough to work with Bill. What impressed us most was after we placed a formal inquiry with him, he drove over 90 minutes to our wedding venue (a multi story restaurant) and talked with the property manager BEFORE contacting us with a quote. Their pricing is competitive and Bill made us feel like VIPs by generously giving us extra uplighting and going back and forth to our venue multiple times during the planning process to make sure the setup was just right. He even measured the wind on the patio to ensure our mics wouldn't hum! We have an odd taste in music and knew we wanted some of what we love but of course also music that everyone would love. Bill balanced this perfectly. He played to all ages and the venue staff had to keep dragging tables away from the dance floor as it packed with guests having an amazing time. We had very obscure song requests for our ceremony and special dances and Bill tracked down them all, even finding instrumental tracks of some of our favorites so we could enjoy them during dinner as a little surprise for us. He is the perfect MC and even though our guests dined on two different levels of the venue, they told us thanks to him making friendly but non intrusive announcements they never felt left out as they ate. The mics never "squeaked" during speeches and guests could party without ever having to "yell" over the music. Bill went above and beyond to make our wedding day a dream for us. We hope you can work with him, too!

A few weeks before the big day, he arranged time and he went over every last bit, not one detail was missed, and day of, he rocked it! I mean, rocked it! Multiple guests commented throughout the night and afterward how awesome the DJ was. His song selections were perfect, he read the crowd and kept all different age groups dancing all night! Plus, he is a great person, very easy to talk to and collaborate with, and listens and kindly offers his expertise to make your day exactly what you want and even better than you could imagine!

He’s incredibly personable and wants your day to go off without a hitch. He took control of the music, sent me an itinerary I could work from the for ceremony, and made sure during the reception that I didn’t have to worry about anything and could enjoy my husband and family/friends! Ray, our guitarist, was incredible! I asked him to learn a song for our ceremony and it was no problem at all! During the reception, every table my husband and I spoke with asked me who our guitarist was and told us how amazing his music was! We couldn’t be happier to have hired Z Brothers! I Just wish I had another event that I could hire them for!

The dance floor was always full, I don’t think I left the floor the whole reception! If you want you and your guests to dance the night away then this should be your choice! He not only was a DJ, but a constant organizer of entertainment and kept the whole reception flowing perfectly! Could have not asked for anything better! So glad he was able to save the day!

forget. Being in the music business myself, a few names came to mind but not one of them stuck out. In June my (now wife) and I went to my best man’s wedding and that’s where we met and heard Travis Dupree of Z Brothers Entertainment. After talking to him, experiencing the different tones he set for the ceremony and cocktail hour, and partying with an absolutely PACKED dance floor the entire reception – we knew without a doubt that we HAD to hire Travis simply because he was on another level. Travis made the planning process very effortless on our part and was a life saver as he brought up many things that never even crossed our minds. This made me realize that even though this was OUR first (and only) wedding, Travis had done this hundreds of times and we could tell him how we wanted the wedding to go and he would take care of it, leaving us stress-free. Our needs were a little different though. For one, I wanted to sing my wife a song I wrote for her but I needed it to be a secret, I needed it to be mic’d (wirelessly), and I needed someone to hand off my guitar. It was one part of the wedding I was a little nervous about because of all of the moving parts that I won’t mention here, but Travis coordinated it and it went perfectly. We also needed our reception music to cater not only an American audience, but a Latino one as well. Travis absolutely nailed it, and had everyone on the dancefloor the entire night regardless of what style he was playing because he knows WHEN to play WHAT. That is an absolutely necessary skill for any musical performer and even though Travis is definitely a next-level DJ, he didn’t draw attention to himself. He made the wedding about US. Just like finding good entertainment was our priority, we were his priority the whole night and we both really appreciated and value that. Travis has everything we wanted from a musical entertainer. Charisma, confidence, undeniable talent, years of experience, a solid grasp over the flow of events he is in, and a passion for creating an awesome and unforgettable experience for the bride, groom, and guests. He knows what music to play, he knows when to play it, and he will go above and beyond all expectations. Is he the cheapest DJ? No, but he’s worth more than what Z Brothers charges and my wife and I would pay every dollar again and then some. Do yourself a favor and hire Travis, you will not regret it.

Later on during the reception, the dance floor was packed the entire night as guests young and old danced to a variety of great tunes picked out by both Travis and my husband and I. Travis provided occasional (but not overwhelming) commentary to keep the party alive throughout the night. Some of my favorite memories of the evening include everyone standing in a circle singing to "Wagon Wheel," as well as our last group dance of the night to "Bohemian Rhapsody" as everyone sang at the top of their lungs. Travis was a dream to work with, and we highly recommend Z Brothers as the top DJ company in Charlotte!

What I do know is that Joey was also great to work with during the planning phase. Now for the reception...we absolutely LOVED DJ Travis Dupree, who felt more like a friend than a vendor. Its like he knew exactly what we wanted without us even having to say it. The reception turned into a true CELEBRATION and our guests had so much fun on the dance floor. Travis even came out to lead us through a line dance when he saw us struggling lol. He happily accommodated any and all requests we threw at him that evening, and without any hesitation or complaints. We can't thank Z Brothers (especially Travis) enough for helping to make our special day so perfect!

Music is a huge part of our lives, and we wanted to make sure we had a DJ/MC that could get the playlist just right – Travis did EXACTLY that. He compiled a list with us of all of our favorites, must-haves, and a general feel/mood for our personalized day. He made sure to play great music that every age group and person could have fun and dance to. We had no clue or idea of what songs we wanted to use for entrances, cake cutting, garter, bouquet toss, specific dances, special moments, and last songs but Travis made it SO easy and even more fun for us. He not only took total care of the music for the night, but he also filled the role of wedding coordinator for us. He kept in constant contact with my husband and I throughout the night while reading the feel of the crowd. He made sure people were where they were supposed to be at all times and had an awesome vibe with our entire crowd and all guests. We were not able to come into town to meet with him in-person before our big day, but Travis took away all of the stress and questions we had on a phone consultation and made us completely happy and calm so we could look forward to the day.
