I booked Zach after being a bridesmaid in a wedding he shot for and I was so impressed with how he organized the shoot. It can be easy to get overwhelmed with how many photos need to be taken, but he kept it quick and simple and all of the photos turned out so amazing! I never felt like my face was going numb from smiling for the camera for too long. For my own wedding, Zach did an even better job of capturing everything perfectly and being his lovely self. We truly thought of him as part of our wedding party and would 100% book him again.

Zach is very professional and makes wedding days so much fun. He photographed both of my sisters weddings and we are all obsessed with the photos. As maid of honor for both weddings I was so happy to have Zach there because he made stressful situations a little lighter and did a great job managing time and making sure the day and night moved along like it should while the wedding party could relax and have fun. His timeless photos seem like a subscript to his service because he is SO GOOD the day of, but the photos are heirloom quality and represent the day as it was in it's most gorgeous ways.

Zach was great to work with! We were planning the Wedding long distance, and Zach was able to work around our schedule of being in WI to take our engagement pictures and set up a time to meet/discuss the wedding photos. On the day of the wedding he was professional and did not only what we had planned, but then asked if there were any other pictures we wanted. We loved that we could change our mind- and we did- on the day of to get extra pictures/ different pictures.

Zach was absolutely incredible, I couldn't have imagined having anyone else capture our big day! We chose to go with Zach as our wedding photographer because another friend of mine who is also a photographer was helping me make the decision and could not stop raving about how impeccable his photos were from a technical standpoint; I also just thought his photos in his website portfolio were aesthetically gorgeous and he had an amazing documentary style that I really loved. From the very first phone call with Zach, our experience with him was wonderful; he was extremely warm, personable and patient with all my questions. He was also very prompt in responding via email despite the fact that at the time he was getting ready for his own wedding the following weekend. We hired him to do an engagement shoot with us first so we could get to know him a little better before the wedding and he could get to know us as well. Since my husband and I live in Chicago, but our wedding was in Wisconsin, we wanted to do our engagement photos in the city. Zach enthusiastically obliged and drove in from Wisconsin one Sunday. One of the best things about hiring Zach was how comfortable he made us feel in front of the camera. I was very nervous for the engagement shoot because I've never loved having my picture taken and Zach was amazing at getting us to feel totally at ease. The engagement shoot ended up being so much fun and because of that, our photos turned out amazing. He even went over the allotted time because Chicago traffic took us a little longer than expected to get to the different locations and he knew how badly I wanted a few pictures with our dog near our apartment. If possible I was even more impressed with him during our wedding as well. He was not only amazing with my husband and I, but also my bridal party and family; we had so many people come up to us during the reception to compliment us on him. The pictures turned out absolutely amazing and perfectly captured the day. Even in the more posed shots he took you could still feel the emotion of the day and everyone looked completely at ease. Overall, working with Zach was an awesome experience and I would recommend him to anyone!

Zach did our engagement photos in the winter of ‘17 and our wedding that summer. Regardless of the significant difference in landscape and temperatures, both sets of photos were phenomenal! Not to mention, Zach was the perfect mixture of relaxed and engaging with our guests. Couldn’t have had a more perfect photographer!

We absolutely loved working with Zach for our wedding day. IWe fell in love with his pictures when searing The Knot for wedding photographers and knew we wanted to work with him after meeting with him for the first time. He was easy to work with, communicated really well, and was overall just a fun a laid-back guy. We met twice before the wedding to discuss some details and then he was very flexible and accommodating the day of the wedding with making sure we got all of the photos that we wanted. One of the most important parts of my wedding day was who I would trust to be there to capture it. I am so happy I chose Zach! His energy was great all day and guests even complimented me on how friendly he was. He captured moments rather than specific poses which was a lot of fun for us and made us feel more relaxed. Whenever I thought about my wedding, one of my top priorities was to have an excellent photographer who really captured the emotions and events of the day; Zach did NOT disappoint. To say Zach was an amazing photographer to have for our wedding is an understatement; everyone could tell how much he loves what he does, and his pictures show it. Zach took amazing pictures in below zero wind chills and made us look like we were bathing in warmth. That=Talent. We were also able relive our entire day through the photos he took, and Zach really was able to capture every moment perfectly. Zach was our photographer for our wedding, and I truly can't say enough good about him & his photos. First and foremost, his photos are exceptional. I met Zach for the 1st time on my wedding day. He was our second shooter helping our primary photographer. Let me tell you he never missed a beat!!!
