through each photographer on the list and emailed a few we liked to get more information. Each person replied with a generic message with their contracts attached. Zach, however, wrote back such a thoughtful, enthusiastic, and genuine message. We knew right away we wanted to work with him. He was so easy to work with from the start. He and his wife were willing to make the long trip to our destination and they were both so flexible throughout the many hiccups which occurred along the way. We felt so comfortable and at ease the entire time, never feeling stiff or posed. We were so excited to see how Zach was able to capture our silly personalities so perfectly. We absolutely love our photos and have received countless compliments. I would highly recommend Zach for any kind of occasion, big or small.

During the time he shot our couple pictures, it started down-pouring and Zach was courteous enough to go though the rain to find us an umbrella while we hid out in the woods! His charisma and charm matched with his Keen eye, style, and talent as a photographer make him a versatile artist who I confidently recommended over and over.

He was also very prompt in responding via email despite the fact that at the time he was getting ready for his own wedding the following weekend. We hired him to do an engagement shoot with us first so we could get to know him a little better before the wedding and he could get to know us as well. Since my husband and I live in Chicago, but our wedding was in Wisconsin, we wanted to do our engagement photos in the city. Zach enthusiastically obliged and drove in from Wisconsin one Sunday. One of the best things about hiring Zach was how comfortable he made us feel in front of the camera. I was very nervous for the engagement shoot because I've never loved having my picture taken and Zach was amazing at getting us to feel totally at ease. The engagement shoot ended up being so much fun and because of that, our photos turned out amazing. He even went over the allotted time because Chicago traffic took us a little longer than expected to get to the different locations and he knew how badly I wanted a few pictures with our dog near our apartment. If possible I was even more impressed with him during our wedding as well. He was not only amazing with my husband and I, but also my bridal party and family; we had so many people come up to us during the reception to compliment us on him. The pictures turned out absolutely amazing and perfectly captured the day. Even in the more posed shots he took you could still feel the emotion of the day and everyone looked completely at ease. Overall, working with Zach was an awesome experience and I would recommend him to anyone!
