Romin went above and beyond throughout the entire planning process. He met with us multiple times to ensure we had the perfect timeline, seamless music flow, and to address every question we had. He even attended our vendor walkthrough ahead of time to make sure he had all the right equipment and setup to bring our vision to life — that level of care and professionalism gave us complete peace of mind. On the wedding day, Romin and his team brought incredible energy. The dance floor was packed the entire night — even when the lights came back on and the party was over, no one wanted to leave! He also understood our desire to include live elements, and his recommendation to add a saxophonist and percussionist was absolutely perfect. Those live pieces elevated the entire experience and made the celebration unforgettable. Romin and Zandi Entertainment are truly the reason our wedding was so amazing. We had multiple virtual meetings, used their music planning app, and he took the time to curate based on a few playlists we’d sent, as we are pretty specific about the music we wanted and like. Romin gave awesome suggestions to help shape the vibe we wanted, and bring our exact vision to life. The wedding itself was amazing, and the dance floor was packed all night. They hired a live saxophonist for us that he has known and worked well with for a long time. It blended seamlessly and the sax player crushed it, from our ceremony all the way through the end of the night. Romin nailed the flow of the evening by mixing slower tempo classics during cocktail hour and dinner, then transitioning into crowd-pleasers bangers and finally some house music (at our specific request) that kept everyone dancing. We also had them include lighting, hazer, and laser effects which elevated the atmosphere, and we had so many guests tell us it was one of the best dance floors they’ve ever been on. Lastly, I would note that we got married at Stone Tower winery with about 180 guest count, with a ceremony down at the pond, cocktail hour outside on the patio, then dinner and dancing inside. They managed the large space and location changes perfectly with seamless microphone work. Romin had been recommended to us from friends who got married a couple years ago, and we would be the first to recommend their team to anyone else.

raved about how good he was, and he certainly performed beyond even our highest expectations. The sound and lighting equipment he provided was by far better than any wedding we had attended. We are in our 60s and this was not only going to be a multigenerational event, with guests ages ranged from 30s to 70s but also multicultural; with a Latin bride and an American groom, with music taste from classic rock, Latin, jazz, EDM, pop, country, etc. To our surprise, Romin never flinched, he accepted the challenge and crushed it. He worked in all our favorite songs during the wedding and personally DJ’d the dance event with such talent, that he kept the floor full of people dancing. His wonderful personality showed through as he MC’d the entire wedding, working closely with our wedding planner. His desire to make this day special was evident throughout the day. We encourage everyone to take advantage of Romin’s special effects, such as the CO2 cannons and the photobooth, both were big hits. We strongly recommend Romin and his team to anyone that wants their wedding to be full of wonderful memories.

The best part about Romin is he's a true DJ and does not just press play on a playlist. He live DJ'd our Dinner and then transitioned into live DJing our dancing which all the guests loved. Romin and his team truly made the wedding what it was. There are no words to fully describe how that night felt to us — it was everything we hoped for and more. The ceremony audio was flawless, including a custom version of Holy by Justin Bieber for the processional that he made happen without skipping a beat. Every planning session with Romin felt thoughtful and collaborative. He helped us make key decisions about lighting, dance floor layout, and DJ setup that ended up being total game-changers. His process was super organized, and we felt completely heard the whole way through. Now let’s talk music. The playlist was perfection. Romin somehow nailed our wildly eclectic taste and kept the dance floor full all night. Even the early shuttle we offered stayed empty. No one wanted to leave. The bar? Also empty. the initial meeting with Romin capturing our vision to working with Ollie as our DJ, everything was easy and professional. The collaborative software they use to plan all the music is super simple to work with and makes it a breeze. A few weeks before the wedding Ollie went over everything with us, made sure he had pronunciations down, and provided excellent expert advice. We are not dancers at all, so we trusted Ollie to handle the reception playlist after just a few questions about our tastes and guests, and that was hands down one of our best decisions of all! Every guest of all ages had a total blast and many stayed on the dance floor all night. Ollie is exceptionally talented and everyone on the Zandi team we came in contact with was wonderful.

our first conversation (and only conversation with a DJ) we knew we would have to work with Romin and Zandi Entertainment. In the first session we talked longer than scheduled about the vibe and even particular songs we knew needed to be played. He understood it immediately and was able to give suggestions before we even signed a contract. He even invited us out to Lost Fox one weekend night where he DJs in his spare time. He took care of us and made sure we were having a good time. He truly cares for his wedding couples. We knew after that initial conversation, it would be one of the easiest decisions we made throughout the wedding process. Romin was always available to talk about entertainment as well as provide insight and recommendations into the other vendors as well. We had numerous calls to curate the perfect entertainment for our special day and it was always helpful that notes were provided after the call. On the day of the wedding Romin hit it out of the park, from the lighting, vibe, music, etc. My wife and I spend every second of the day on the dance floor listening to songs from the 60s to today (just as we requested). Every guest we talked to said their favorite thing at the wedding was the drummer and instruments that came out for guests to use on the dance floor! The photobooth was also a hit. It had all kinds of capabilities and we received all the photos/boomerangs a few days later.

The jazz trio and saxophonist were incredible – it truly was the best of both worlds and helped elevate the music for our ceremony and reception. We have heard nothing but wonderful things from ALL of our guests about the music the entire wedding day! We absolutely LOVED working with Romin and can’t recommend him and his team enough! Lighting for the rooftop rehearsal dinner was not easy to do, but Romin and the team made it happen and gave the event a classy DC rooftop bar vibe! For the wedding reception, DJ Ollie kept us on track with our busy program and set the right mood throughout the night from classy dinner-time music to line dances to a more clubby feel at the end. THE DANCE FLOOR WAS PACKED ALL NIGHT! The lighting team once again did an amazing job, especially the COLD SPARKS! We had them as part of our choreographed first dance, and the guests loved it! We can still hear the cheers! Definitely a WOW factor that was worth every penny! We know a DJ and entertainment group can make or break a wedding. They utilize an app for planning that made it easy for us to note what songs we wanted for certain moments (walking down the aisle, cate cutting, etc.) and he was able to make last minute changes for us as well. We wanted a more romantic vibe for the ceremony so we had acoustic covers playing, then when we moved to cocktail hour he started mixing in more higher energy music. Dinner was mellow with some specific throwbacks we had requested, and then the dance party was perfectly planned so that the energy was up all night. Romin was able to read the crowd and adjust based on what people were loving. The dance floor was packed all night long, and I mean ALL night long. One more thing I really appreciated- I lost my dad the year before we got married, so I was really nervous about navigating the mother-son and father-daughter dance time. Romin did a great job of having the mother-son dance bleed directly into a crowd dance so I didn't feel uncomfortable, and we were able to put some of my dad's favorite songs in the lineup throughout the night. Nobody even noticed that we skipped that part, and I really appreciated how he made it feel very natural. The CO2 guns were such a fun surprise, and our guests loved the blast of cold air after hours of dancing! We also got a lighting package which set the tone for the night really well, and was very customizable. I have had multiple friends reach out after our wedding to ask who our DJ was, and even some of our other vendors said he was one of the best they had ever worked with. If you are a couple that is passionate about music and wants to be able to customize your experience, we highly recommend working with Romin & the whole Zandi Entertainment team!

People were taking photos, making videos and GIFs all night. The best part is that Romin sent us the link at the end of the night so we were able to access all the photobooth content. Zandi entertainment is worth every cent! They helped us create a flawless flow for a gorgeous wedding.
