Romin absolutely killed it on our wedding day! He kept all of our guests on the dance floor the entire night and knew how to read the crowd. All of our guests mentioned how amazing he was doing! Romin was also very thoughtful during the planning process. He is really good at reading your style and makes each experience unique. I couldn’t recommend him and his team enough!!!

Zandi Entertainment is top notch. The level of service Romin gave us leading up to the event was unmatched. We loved working with him. We had Ollie as our DJ and he was a rockstar. Listened to all our music guidance and made great cuts of all our first dance songs just the way we wanted it. All the aspects of the weddings music was on point. We got so many compliments about how much fun the reception was and how awesome our DJ was. Even in extremely hot weather he had everyone out on the dance floor. Thanks Ollie and Romin!!

We used Romin and Zandi entertainment for our wedding and he and his team hit it out of the park. Music and entertainment was always our top priority for our special day, and after our first conversation (and only conversation with a DJ) we knew we would have to work with Romin and Zandi Entertainment. In the first session we talked longer than scheduled about the vibe and even particular songs we knew needed to be played. He understood it immediately and was able to give suggestions before we even signed a contract. He even invited us out to Lost Fox one weekend night where he DJs in his spare time. He took care of us and made sure we were having a good time. He truly cares for his wedding couples. We knew after that initial conversation, it would be one of the easiest decisions we made throughout the wedding process. Romin was always available to talk about entertainment as well as provide insight and recommendations into the other vendors as well. We had numerous calls to curate the perfect entertainment for our special day and it was always helpful that notes were provided after the call. On the day of the wedding Romin hit it out of the park, from the lighting, vibe, music, etc. My wife and I spend every second of the day on the dance floor listening to songs from the 60s to today (just as we requested). Zandi Entertainment exceeded our expectations! They provided DJ, lighting, photo booth, and drummer services for our wedding. Our experience with them was perfect from beginning to end. Our DJ, Ollie, was so flexible and accommodating of all our requests (flower men music, a surprise father daughter moment, and particular songs for certain moments of the evening). The day of the crew set up with ease, made our space look beautiful for the reception and turned the night into a dance party we will never forget. If you are contemplating the added live music experience DO IT! Every guest we talked to said their favorite thing at the wedding was the drummer and instruments that came out for guests to use on the dance floor! The photobooth was also a hit. It had all kinds of capabilities and we received all the photos/boomerangs a few days later.

Our experience with Romin and his team were so seamless and they truly made the experience of our wedding exactly how we imagined it. We worked with DJ Ollie for our May wedding -- we were matched with him by Romin after we described what we were looking for and our budget. He was a great DJ, giving us suggestions for songs for key moments and creating a dance playlist that blended our top picks with others that fit right in -- our dance floor was going all night! He also was a great MC and had a very detailed plan from the pre-questionnaire and coordinating with our planner. We chose Zandi Entertainment for our wedding this February in Norfolk, VA, and they EXCEEDED expectations! What we loved the most was the process was collaborative, fun, and the most professional out of all vendors we considered. Romin worked with us to understand our vision, preferences, and makeup of all of our family and wedding attendees to craft the perfect touches for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and full reception (where the dance floor was packed the entire time!) He was even able to seamlessly incorporate some very niche songs (Mos Def, musiq soulchild) that were important to us, but might not be as recognizable to the crowd. Working with Zandi Entertainment for our wedding was an absolute dream! My husband and I met with a handful of DJs before meeting Romin, and he was the only one we felt really cared about our vision for our wedding. He spent hours with us in meetings walking through our favorite genres/artists/songs and helped define our overall vibes for the day, ultimately crafting the perfect playlist! We decided to add Zandi Fusion to our wedding package only weeks before the wedding, which was the BEST decision ever!!!! The jazz trio and saxophonist were incredible – it truly was the best of both worlds and helped elevate the music for our ceremony and reception. We have heard nothing but wonderful things from ALL of our guests about the music the entire wedding day! We absolutely LOVED working with Romin and can’t recommend him and his team enough! Zandi Entertainment provided a guitarist and DJ for our November 2023 wedding. Our guitarist, Matvei, was incredibly accommodating. His playing during the ceremony and cocktail hour were great and we couldn't have been happier. Our DJ for the evening, DJ Ollie, was great and set the right mood for the evening. He read the room and kept folks on the dance floor all night. It ebbed and flowed like we thought it might, but Ollie knew what would get folks back out on the floor, didn't pressure people, and was also a great MC. Overall, we couldn't have been happier with the service/support Zandi Entertainment provided from beginning to end. We highly recommend Zandi to folks that are looking for DJ/entertainment services.

My husband and I got married in October and wanted to prioritize our DJ as the first vendor for our wedding! DJ Ollie was assigned to use from Zandi Entertainment and was amazing! He listened to the vibe we were going for during the wedding and reception, gave suggestions on popular songs, but also let us create our own playlists with different song choices. DJ Ollie was able to keep all the guests on the dance floor all night long. Our guests are still talking about how much fun they had at the wedding! We also opted for the lighting package and would highly recommend! The lighting changed the whole ambience of the dance floor. Romin helped organize all the meetings with DJ Ollie and was the friendliest and most empathetic person. He talked about his company and the history of his DJ services and really listened to us share the experience we were hoping to recreate and was able to reassure us that both him and his team would be able to make it happen!

Zandi Entertainment served as our DJ and lighting specialist for our rooftop rehearsal dinner and ballroom wedding reception. From the consultation meetings before signing to the timeline reviews with our DJ to the space walkthroughs to the rehearsal dinner and wedding reception, Romin and his team delivered! Romin and DJ Ollie were very flexible and not only helped bring our vision to life but also had some great suggestions that enhanced the events. Lighting for the rooftop rehearsal dinner was not easy to do, but Romin and the team made it happen and gave the event a classy DC rooftop bar vibe! For the wedding reception, DJ Ollie kept us on track with our busy program and set the right mood throughout the night from classy dinner-time music to line dances to a more clubby feel at the end. THE DANCE FLOOR WAS PACKED ALL NIGHT! The lighting team once again did an amazing job, especially the COLD SPARKS! We had them as part of our choreographed first dance, and the guests loved it! We can still hear the cheers! Definitely a WOW factor that was worth every penny! We know a DJ and entertainment group can make or break a wedding. Zandi Entertainment and DJ Ollie delivered events that our guests will be talking about for a long time!

For us, music was one of the most important aspects of our wedding and Romin and his team 100% delivered!!! He was extremely approachable, flexible/open to our ideas, and made our vision come to life. It truly felt like we were working with a friend. Romin also made suggestions (lighting, Co2, fusion) that elevated the whole experience in such a fun way. You know those weddings you go to in a semi-dark room and it just sounds like a Spotify playlist is on? This is NOTHING like that. The music was 100% tailored to our style and mixed with expertise, and the lighting further enhanced the music and overall atmosphere. The energy in the room was absolutely incredible the whole time! We also incorporated the saxophone player, which was such an amazing and way to blend the best of both musical worlds. All of the guests LOVED it!! This is definitely a way to incorporate something unique and memorable into your reception. Overall, we cannot emphasize enough how amazing this team is!!! Our goal was to have a high energy celebration with a packed dance floor all night long. Who wants those awkward moments when no one is dancing, or people aren't loving the song?! There was NONE of this. Romin engaged the crowd and adapted to the needs of our guests seamlessly. The #1 comment we received afterward was that it was the best and most fun wedding they have ever been to! But honestly MOST importantly, we (the bride & groom) had a FREAKING BLAST!!!!!! A truly incredible experience!!! I cannot say enough about DJ Carey Cheek and his assistant, Amar Barrera — professional, charismatic, fun, talented — true entertainers!! Carey exceeded all expectations and made our wedding day one of the most memorable events ever!! We were treated like VIPs from the very beginning…we met with Romin to discuss our vision for that day, and we felt like he truly listened and understood exactly what we were looking for in a DJ. Our initial meetings with Carey were effortless - what a relief to know we were in such good hands! On our wedding day, Carey and Amar arrived early and were ready to go! They helped us navigate through the day and party hard into the night! Carey has such a genuine love of music and it really shows in all he does! All of our guests had a blast — the dance floor was never empty and the music was out of this world! Zandi Entertainment also supplied an absolutely transformative lighting concept…so subtle and soft during dinner and first dances, and then full out club lights for the dancing - amazing!!! Romin was everything we wanted in a DJ. We took a long time deciding between a band and DJ but are so glad we moved forward with Zandi Entertainment. Romin was an absolute rockstar to work with. My husband is a dancer, so he was very particular about what kind of music he wanted to include for different parts of the day, and Romin made it super seamless. I wasn't sure how we would fit in hip-hop, alt rock, kpop, acoustic singer-songwriter, and 70s music all in one event, but he did it perfectly. They utilize an app for planning that made it easy for us to note what songs we wanted for certain moments (walking down the aisle, cate cutting, etc.) and he was able to make last minute changes for us as well. We wanted a more romantic vibe for the ceremony so we had acoustic covers playing, then when we moved to cocktail hour he started mixing in more higher energy music. Dinner was mellow with some specific throwbacks we had requested, and then the dance party was perfectly planned so that the energy was up all night. Romin was able to read the crowd and adjust based on what people were loving. The dance floor was packed all night long, and I mean ALL night long. One more thing I really appreciated- I lost my dad the year before we got married, so I was really nervous about navigating the mother-son and father-daughter dance time. Romin did a great job of having the mother-son dance bleed directly into a crowd dance so I didn't feel uncomfortable, and we were able to put some of my dad's favorite songs in the lineup throughout the night. Nobody even noticed that we skipped that part, and I really appreciated how he made it feel very natural. The CO2 guns were such a fun surprise, and our guests loved the blast of cold air after hours of dancing! We also got a lighting package which set the tone for the night really well, and was very customizable. I have had multiple friends reach out after our wedding to ask who our DJ was, and even some of our other vendors said he was one of the best they had ever worked with. If you are a couple that is passionate about music and wants to be able to customize your experience, we highly recommend working with Romin & the whole Zandi Entertainment team!

We met Zandi through our venue, the Birkby House, and they couldn't stop raving about how amazing they are and so professional to work with. It was all true! Zandi Entertainment and our DJ, Ollie, helped us throughout the entire process. They had amazing, gregarious personalities that made for a perfect DJ & MC. Our DJ, Ollie, created a genuinely fun atmosphere and was able to read the vibe of the room and act accordingly so the moment never got stale. We also had the Lighting & Photobooth, which were MASSIVE hits! The lighting truly created a one-of-a-kind ambiance and the photobooth was a crowd favorite. People were taking photos, making videos and GIFs all night. The best part is that Romin sent us the link at the end of the night so we were able to access all the photobooth content. Zandi entertainment is worth every cent! They helped us create a flawless flow for a gorgeous wedding.

Everything was handled like a dream. Ollie was so professional and on top of every single transition, worked the dance floor incredibly well even with a bunch of people throwing requests at him. The sound was perfect, the energy was top tier, and we really appreciated the attention he put towards making sure he pronounced each name correctly when introducing our rather large wedding party. He made sure everyone was properly mic'd in a timely manner and was insanely efficient in flipping the ceremony booth to the official DJ booth during cocktail hour. All around 10 out of 10 and couldn't have asked for a better DJ to bring the party. Not to mention, the planning process was actually fun and Ollie made sure to get a feel over the course of multiple planning sessions of exactly the type of vibe we wanted. Cannot recommend them enough!!

Looking back, we would have regretted not incorporating lighting into our space. From the first inquiry to the final phone call, Romin and his team have been on top. He sent a detailed proposal with options tailored to us to make decision making easy. The music app they provide is amazing. You never know how much music you truly need for your wedding/event and this app lined it out step by step so we didn’t miss a beat. If we were stuck on certain areas, he helped us along by listening to what we were saying and providing sample songs. We trusted Romin to curate his own dance mix with some of our favorite songs to keep the party alive! 10/10 would absolutely use them again and suggest to anyone. You won’t regret it.

Romin was our MC, DJ, and overall mood setter for the night! We received so many compliments about the music, which was a job for him to do for us to combine multiple musical tastes into a playlist that everyone would enjoy. If we had questions or last minute changes, he was available to accommodate us. We felt heard in our wants and loved that he helped us set the tone with our mini lightsaber battle before our first dance to a bachata song. Throughout the planning time, he was responsive to any of our emails and scheduled zoom calls when needed. We relied on his advice with lighting and the flow for the night, which was absolutely flawless. We also added on the Photobooth, making this a whole complete package! Thank you for making it a memorable night.

We had the time of our lives during our wedding and cannot thank DJ Ollie enough for the amazing job he did over the course of the day. We received a large number of compliments on the reception music and our guests had a fantastic time, which was our main goal (besides getting married of course!). We are truly so floored by how perfectly our celebration went and how much fun we had!

Romin is the pinnacle of wedding entertainment. He was an incredible DJ, both in building a playlist that incorporated our unique musical tastes and in reading the room to keep the energy up. Our guests were on the dance floor all night long. He was also an incredible emcee, taking care to learn everyone’s names and working seamlessly with our wedding planner to make sure the reception ran smoothly. We always felt like we were Romin’s top priority and we cannot recommend him highly enough!

Zandi made us feel super comfortable in planning the music choices for our wedding! Our DJ Carey was well prepared and easy to work with, taking our input and making a fantastic playlist for our reception! He made sure everyone had fun and there were always people out on the dance floor. We're both very happy with how the day turned out thanks to Carey and the Zandi team!

We used Zandi's fusion package for our wedding and it was amazing! We had a Saxophonist at the cocktail hour who was a huge hit! it was an incredible energy and the guests were gushing over his performance! At the reception, we worked with DJ Carey and the Saxophonist. DJ Carey was so so great! He met with us a few times to get to know what we were looking for at the reception and executed it perfectly! The energy never dropped and everyone at all ages were on the dance floor. Multiple guests told us it was the most fun they have ever had at a wedding. 10/10 would recommend working with Zandi!

We hired Romin as our DJ and Master of Ceremonies for our reception. It was the best decision. He is very professional, classy, and a great sport with special requests. We used the uplighting as well and that was the best decision. It gave the rooms an elegance and stepped it up in class.

Where to start!..My husband & I looked in to Zandi Entertainment for our wedding this past October. From our initial meeting with Romin, it was safe to say we were set on hiring him for our wedding. Romin really took the time to get to know us as a couple & to understand what we had invisioned for our day. He provided us with an awesome detailed proposal, stayed in touch with us during the planning process, and just overall was amazing to work with. He really brought our vision to life (it was actually even better than I could have imagined). Romin really knows how to read the crowd & did an incredible job customizing the playlist to what my husband and I were wanting & what our guests enjoyed. Our guests have said "every song was a banger." Throughout the whole planning process from the initial meeting with Romin, to the end of the reception, he had exceeded our expectations. You can tell he truly cares about his couples/clients. I would definitely recommend him & his company!

The Zandi team truly made our wedding day. Our DJ, Carey, brought the energy we needed for the whole reception, from dinner and speeches to dancing the night away. Their professionalism and attention to detail was incredible and Romin and his whole team were so enjoyable to work with during the whole planning process. I cannot say enough good things about them. They heard our vision and made it come to life. We are so grateful for them!

Alex and I LOVE music so we had high expectations for our wedding DJ/MC/Live musicians. Zandi Entertainment and his team exceeded them all! They were extremely responsive to our emails, helped curate the exact vibe for each portion of our wedding and brought an awesome DJ booth that saves us from having to rent one! DJ Carey keep our guests on the floor all night long with the exact right song to keep the party going! Our live musicians were very talented and helped us create a set for the ceremony and cocktail hour. If they are available, book them now! They helped take some of the stress out of the stressful wedding planning process!

We hired Zandi Entertainment and DJ Romin for our wedding day and they were the best!! The music selection process was made super easy through the provided app and DJ Romin gave us advice on our selections as well, which was super helpful. DJ Romin was also great with all of the wedding party and family introductions, keeping the energy high to kick off the reception! We also booked the photo booth and that was 100% worth it! Our guests loved using it and loved seeing all of the pictures that everyone took! We would strongly recommend Zandi Entertainment!

DJ Carey and Zandi Entertainment were one of the best choices that we made for our vendors. We danced the entire night, and the only complaint we had was that it didn’t it had to end! DJ Carey was super cool and professional. He was much more than just a DJ, by providing lighting, multiple set ups at our different locations, and bringing my wife and I drinks when we needed them!! We had a 2 hour long virtual meeting prior to the wedding with DJ Carey to discuss our vision, the vibe we were going for, and the overall itinerary for the day. The day of Carey made everything feel seemless which put our minds at ease. I would absolutely recommend DJ Carey and Zandi Entertainment for any party or event!
