My husband and I are still reveling in how amazingly perfect our wedding was 2 months ago at Zenith winery. The first time we stepped foot on the property we were blown away with the beauty and convenience of the venue. Dana Blunck gave us an excellent tour and answered all of our questions thoughtfully, so we hired her as our wedding planner and day of coordinator. Throughout the process she was able to read our energy and balanced the needs of us and both of our parents superbly and professionally. She recommended the best vendors who all worked together as a dream team to make us and our wedding guests feel like royalty. For our wedding weekend we stayed at Zenith wineries on site rental properties allowing our families to fully enjoy the stunning scenery. The bridal room was lovely and convenient to get ready in and retreat to throughout the day. We turned the grooms room into a kids room for the reception, creating a space for little ones to do art or watch a movie while their parents celebrated on the dance floor. Day of coordination by Dana and her daughter allowed my family and I to enjoy the day without having to worry about all the little details and stress that inevitably come up with a large wedding guest list. We could not have dreamed of a better day. Thank you Zenith and Dana!

The venue was beautiful and overall we are happy. There are a few places I was not happy, one being the seats in the bridal room. They were very dirty with sweat stains and were only slightly cleaned once I brought it up to staff shortly before our wedding. The room is above the kitchen and it's sweltering in there. Bring fans or you will melt away. The grass is uneven and can be hard to walk on and several guests were concerned they may fall. It's also very windy out there. The wind caught my veil several times and snapped my head back, just an FYI.
The majority of the waste of money and disappointment came in with Day of Coordination. We paid an additional $1500 for it and were led to believe we would have our wine tasting (wine purchasing per guest is required at the venue) separate and private. Instead it was lumped in with an event they were having with music so loud I could not hear our wedding party talk. When first booking the venue, I asked what all the day of Coordination entailed, I was told the coordinator and her daughter would be setting up, we did not have to worry. She would run the day, make sure people were where they were supposed to be, etc. I literally had every single table and bin set up and labeled and a picture as a sample of what it should look like. Almost immediately our groomsmen were brought in to do the set up and archway, as apparently "I had done too much DIY," whatever that means. I have photos of the groomsmen doing it when they should have been spending time with my husband. We also helped to break down. I often had vendors and people coming to me throughout the night asking me questions and asking me where the day of coordinator was. Some events got skipped as I had given her my tossing bouquet and then I could not find her to retrieve it. The worst part was they had another wedding doing their REHEARSAL for over an hour while I was getting ready. My husband had to stop them from setting up the ceremony so they wouldn't be walking on my petals, standing at my arch where I was supposed to be shortly for a day I had planned over a year for. The contract indicates the venue is still open to the public on your wedding day, but I had even asked what that meant, I was told that the tasting room would be open and was ensured that the reception and wedding area were off limits. That obviously was not the case. It's not fun to see another woman in a white dress walking out of your venue doors on your wedding day and sitting in your chairs. Perhaps if she had not had to tend to the other bridal party she could have set up our wedding like we paid to have done. You are also required to use one of their caterers which, at least Willabys, who we went with, was not worth the cost in my opinion. Please do yourself a favor and save the money, task a friend or family member to set up for you, they'll be doing it either way.
Vendor response 06/10/2024
We are extremely sad and sorry when a client is less than pleased with their wedding day! ...
We have reviewed all matters brought up in this review with staff and have the following update to your issues:
The bridal room was 68 degrees with air-conditioning the day of this wedding and an additional fan was set up for clients comfort.
The water stain on the make-up bench noticed before your wedding day was steam cleaned and restored to "like-new" on your wedding day
Having an outdoor wedding in wine-country will encounter grass and wind
Day of Coordination clearly states "supervision of load-in" not execution of set-up. The staff clearly went above and beyond to assist in the job that a wedding planner would have brought a team of 5 in to accomplish. The wedding party on numerable occasions during the day assured Dana that "the bride will never be happy, she always complains"
The wedding contract clearly states that next-day weddings will run rehearsal early in the day just as this clients rehearsal was run on Friday before a wedding
We have a lovely thank-you from client about "how fun" the wine selection was.

Zenith was an absolute dream! We hosted our wedding there on Saturday October 2nd, 2021 and everything went off without a hitch. I feel in love with the venue from the moment I stepped foot in it and I couldn’t have imagined anything more perfect. The lawn for the ceremony, the beautiful ballroom, the bridal suite to get ready in, the delicious wine and their recommendations for outstanding vendors, it was such an amazing experience! Not to mention the breathtaking scenery of over 100 acres of vineyards - all of our guests were so impressed with the grounds!!

Our daughter’s wedding and reception was held at Zenith Vineyard in July (2021). We chose the venue because it is beautiful and we wanted to showcase the beauty of Oregon to our out of state guests. However, you should be wary of the owner Tim Ramey. At approximately 9:15 pm he called and ordered the caterer to close the bar. He was never present at the event and his only representative at the site had left by 8:00 pm. Before leaving that representative never expressed any concerns to us or our onsite wedding planner. According to the catering manager the reasons he gave at that time were: an alarm going off in a winery office; people were wandering all over the place; and alcohol was out of control. For the next hour we waited and finally met with the catering manager to deal with his actions. We were upset and our daughter cried. The catering manager told us alcohol was not over served, nor was there rowdy behavior or drunkenness. There was nothing amiss in the winery office (the area was not roped off nor do we know who opened the door since they do not have video cameras in that area of the venue). Ramey refused to speak with us on the phone, telling the catering manager that he was not willing to engage in conversation with us. Ultimately the catering manager (not Ramey) decided to reopen the bar half an hour before the reception had to close. We communicated with Ramey via email expressing our displeasure. In response he now alleged “the groomsmen were the major issue with the Groom too blitzed to speak.” The wedding party numbered 16 with the 10 women getting ready at 9 am and the groomsmen arriving in the early afternoon for pictures and to prepare for the 5:00 pm ceremony. We also had extended family come early for pictures and some of them had a glass of sparkling wine before the ceremony. By our count 11 bottles of sparkling wine were consumed during that time. After the ceremony one of the groomsmen was appropriately cut off. The groom was not drunk. We were there, Ramey was not and he later apologized for insulting the groom. We contacted our other vendors to see if they thought our guests were out of control and none of them said there was anything out of the ordinary. Mr. Ramey also stated in an email that alcohol consumption was “not a big issue” at our event. He also stated that he needed to stop bar service to assess the situation. However, the situation could have been assessed before the bar was closed if they had appropriate management staff on hand. We have attended many weddings and this group was having a good time dancing and having fun. There are always some people who consume too much alcohol at weddings. The overwhelming majority of guests did not. To ensure alcohol was not an issue we rented three charter buses to take our guests to the wedding and back to their hotels at its conclusion. The caterer (Willaby’s) was one of three Zenith approved food and beverage vendors. Based on our experience, they will ultimately do Zenith’s bidding, not yours. It became clear that the catering team and Mr. Ramey were in communication with each other without including us, their client, in the conversations. Tim Ramey’s actions spoiled what was otherwise a beautiful wedding. We had read some of the previous reviews warning of his behavior. There are many beautiful venues in Oregon and I would choose one that won’t make your daughter cry on her wedding day.

My husband and I got married at zenith in august of 2020. We had originally planned on getting married in June but due to COVID decided to reschedule. Zenith was extremely accommodating and helpful in dealing with all the changes that needed to happen due to regulations. Our wedding ended up being absolutely perfect we would not have changed a thing and that is in large part due to Zenith and the staff!! Thank you so much!

We are so glad we chose to get married at Zenith in September! The staff - especially their hospitality manage, D'Avonie, were such a pleasure to work with. Planning our wedding was anything but easy due to COVID-19 and the pacific wildfires the week of, but D'Avonie made sure everything went smoothly and kept me updated with changes that needed to be done to keep everyone safe. We even had to make a last minute change during our rehearsal to move our ceremony indoors due to poor air quality that week and D'Avonie made it happen quick! We live out of state, so we couldn't go in for our wine tasting until the week of the wedding, but D'Avonie made the perfect wine suggestions based on our menu. These are just a few things Zenith has been helpful and accommodating to our unique wedding situation. I can't thank them enough and highly recommend this BEAUTIFUL venue!

Our wedding at Zenith Vineyards was wonderful and picturesque.
The staffs were extremely friendly and helpful to ensure that every need that we had was met and any concern we had was fulfilled before it could have been a problem.
The venue was amazing, very clean and very well decorated such that only minor additions needed to be made to make it our own for the wedding. The bathrooms on site made for a large group easily accommodating and the large reception area made dancing much easier and fun for the entire wedding party and guests.
We could not have asked for a better wedding venue nor staff to help make our day that much more amazing. We would highly recommend for anyone to have their wedding here and have such wonderful memories as we have today!

We booked Zenith Vineyard for our October wedding day ceremony and reception and our day was so magical. We worked with their day of event coordinator, Jen, and she did such an amazing job working with our family and vendors. A year earlier, we had a tour opportunity with the owner, Keri, and were blown away by the landscape, views, and building atmosphere. From there, we booked vendors who have worked extensively at Zenith for wedding events, and the day was so seamless and beautiful. Our "plan A" was to have the ceremony outside on the lawn, but due to inclement weather we decided to place the ceremony inside in front of their fireplace. Even though the weather ended up cooperating, the inside ceremony was so beautiful and intimate. During the reception, we rented several fire tables and large heaters so guests could mingle outside and enjoy the amazing views. I had several guests tell me it was one of the best weddings they had ever been to. I cannot say enough about Zenith for putting on a wedding that was so memorable and beautiful.

The venue itself is beautiful, the event coordinator Jenn is amazing and our day was one for the books... But beware the owner of the venue, Tim, who is a rude prick who should not be in the wedding industry. Our experience with him was worse than horrible and I do not wish that on any bride & groom already stressing about their big day. He emailed all of our outside hired vendors and told them our wedding was canceled 4 DAYS before our wedding instead of calling us directly because our payment for wine was flagged as fraudulent behavior by our cc company which was settled in a matter of minutes. They charged us for beers that were offered to our wedding party pre-ceremony even though beer was being served at our wedding for free. They will charge you for breathing the air at their venue. We are still fighting being charged for things that make no sense a week after our wedding and was bombarded with rude emails during our honeymoon that left a bad taste in our mouth for the venue. I would not recommend anyone having their wedding here, it's a beautiful scenery but the pro's to not outweigh the con's at this point.
Vendor response 06/25/2019
Hi Kensey, As we have stated before, if you fail to pay a bill due in May for $2,600 and o...
n June 9th I gave you 48 hours notice and there was no response. At that point you were in default of your contract. We are a business and we do need to be paid in a timely way. You brought this on yourselves and then choose to air this out? As you well know, the beer at your wedding was paid by you through your caterer; we serve beer if asked before catering arrives but no, the beers were bought and paid for by Zenith and you WILL be charged for them. I sent you an invoice for multiple violations our Alcohol policy . We settle our books right after the wedding and i sent you timely notice of that. I do find the whole affair quite distasteful but you are bringing this on yourself Kensey. Anyone reading this will see it in context of all of the other glowing reviews and understand...

Tim, Kari, and their team were so professional yet kind & helpful to us while we were going through the entire planning process, being available to our many calls and emails. The venue is so beautiful, inside and out, that it required only a bouquet of flowers for each table. We would recommend Zenith Vineyards to anyone looking for a beautiful location and amazingly kind people to help prepare for your big day! Thank you Tim, Kari, and the team! You all helped make our day amazing!

From the beginning, my experience with Zenith was wonderful. Viewing the venue was easy to book, and we had an in depth consultation during our visit. They even agreed to pencil in our date until I could go home and talk it through with my fiancé before putting down our deposit. Kari, the owner, was so welcoming, always available to answer questions and made the whole experience incredibly easy and relaxing. They even set up a complimentary tasting to go through their wines, in depth, if you choose to serve wine at your wedding. The venue does come with preselected vendors for food, but it was incredibly helpful because the caterer was on top of everything and did an incredible job. The venue was gorgeous, the staff incredibly helpful and the bridal suite is amazing. I would highly recommend Zenith to anyone!

Zenith Vineyard is the most picturesque place to be married in the entire Willamette Valley! I could never have imagined my favorite day taking place anywhere else! As an added bonus, all communication via phone or email was returned promptly while answering all of our questions. Kari and Tim were both phenomenal to work with. From our first tour, to our food and wine tasting, our rehearsal, and finally to our big day, everything was taken care of in an organized, positive, and fun way!
We received all the information we needed up front in our initial email inquiry and packet of additional details and vendor suggestions at the tour. After having excelled in the wedding realm for several years, we relied on Kari's input for things like the layout of their ballroom and the day's scheduling that seemed to work best-- we were never steered wrong! From there, it was up to us to make decisions on what we wanted and Zenith was very flexible and accommodating in making that happen.
Another thing that sets Zenith apart is their attention to detail and willingness to make small gestures that make a big impact! All parts of the facility were spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. Kari surprised us by offering the use of her s'mores pit which was so generous and a huge hit with everyone at the wedding, especially the kids! Indoors and outdoors, every amenity you could think of was provided for us (shade and AC, a smoothly cut lawn, great lighting, a large amount of space, restrooms, hookups for our DJ, a full service bar, a full kitchen for our caterer, and I could go on and on). Every vendor we spoke to, after hearing our wedding's location, enthusiastically exclaimed how it was their favorite venue and how excited they were to be working there! To us, that spoke volumes about how wonderful Zenith is and how wisely we had chosen!
If you want a heart-stoppingly beautiful venue with professional and kind owner/operators, look no further than Zenith Vineyard!

I will preface this review by saying that we were very happy with how our event went overall and that this is a beautiful venue. This is not an angry review, just an honest one expressing some of the frustrations we had during our wedding planning process that added some extra stress for us. I think it's important that others are aware of some of the issues that we ran into, many of them are similar to issues previously voiced by others in past reviews.
1. My husband and I were very thorough with our questions during our first visit, and we reviewed the contract very carefully. Despite this, we ran into many "extra" costs (that were NOT on the contracts list of extra expenses) that we were not made aware of during our tour. We were actually led to believe that many of these "extras" were included during our tour, and we were later surprised to find out that they were not.
2. Despite being reassured numerous times that the set-up would match the layout design that we had agreed on, we were upset to find the set up was not as expected day-of. This required some extra help from family and friends trying to correct these mistakes.
3. This is a business for them, and they run it that way. Everything is aimed towards making an extra profit. The customer service was great until we signed the contract. Once we were committed, communication became more sporadic and less reliable. Additionally, the communication we received was not always kind and respectful.
With all that being said, we still had a great day, but I think that the success of our event was mostly thanks to the several other excellent vendors that we worked with to make our day what we wanted.
Vendor response 05/12/2017
We are always sad and upset when any client is unhappy!
On your first point “we ran into...
many "extra" costs (that were NOT on the contracts list of extra expenses) that we were not made aware of during our tour.”
There were three extra costs on your wedding. The insurance certificate, the A/V system and patio heaters. The first two were clearly “on the contracts list of extra expenses” – which I have copied here to refresh your memory:
ITEMS or SERVICES REQUIRING an ADDITIONAL FEE
Insurance Certificate Waiver $200
Indoor Video, P/A and wireless microphones $300
The third item was six patio heaters. We did not own them at the time you booked, we bought them as a rental item in February since we found the heaters that the rental shops had to be ugly, and unreliable. We notified you that they were available to rent. Your wedding was the first time they were used. And while we provided six heaters we only charged you for four, as a goodwill gesture.
The setup comment is perplexing – we don’t know anything about it but if it wasn’t right we certainly would have made it right, if asked.
You are correct that this is a business for us. You are incorrect to say that communication became sporadic and unreliable. It just wasn’t, we are highly prompt in our communication, and we are always kind and respectful.

Had my dream wedding at Zenith last weekend! They are the absolutely perfect venue for a vineyard wedding. We did our ceremony inside in front of the fireplace, cocktail hour on the veranda, and then reception inside. It was so fun getting ready in the bridal suite all day, and they provided us with wine while we got ready. The guys had fun in the grooms room and they were provided with beers. While the ballroom can fit over 200 guests (I can't remember how much - maybe 250?), we only had 100 and it still felt perfect - didn't feel like there was empty space but didn't feel crowded. They provide a lot of stuff, like round tables (which we didn't actually use - we rented farm tables through our caterer), chairs, and all place settings (glasses, plates, silverware, etc).
Our guests keep commenting on how beautiful the setting was, with amazing views. With a March wedding, we didn't have anything on the vines, but it was still gorgeous! There were beautiful yellow flowers in the vineyard that made for awesome photos, and we got lucky with the weather. That said, I think it'd be beautiful here no matter what the season or weather! Even our other vendors (see below) would get excited when we told them that we'd gone with Zenith - they all say it's one of their favorite spots!
Kari was great throughout the planning and was always very quick to respond to my emails and questions. Tim was very helpful with the wine tasting and wine orders. My dad is a big wine person, and was very impressed with the options at the tasting. We ended up needing to buy more wine during the reception because we were running out, but we apparently over bought when we did that and had a lot of extra. Tim graciously offered to buy back the extra at full price, or to help package up what we had left over for travel. We ended up returning some of it and keeping 2 of the cases - now we have lots of bottles to celebrate our future anniversaries with!
Other vendors we used:
Catering - Vibrant Table
Photography - Becerra Photography
Flowers - Your Perfect Blossoms
Hair and Make Up - Bri Ellis at Portland Make Up and Hair
Coordinating - Whitney Werts Events
Band - Pressure Point

My husband and I were married at Zenith last August. We have not stopped getting compliments on the venue! When searching for a venue we wanted a place where we could have the wedding outdoors, but easily move indoors for the reception/ or move everything indoors in case it rained (my mother's requirement). We also wanted a place where we could serve beer, wine and liquor, not just wine. Zenith checked all boxes for us. There are so many ways this space can be used, it can really conform to any size or style of event. It is on the higher end price wise, but we got married on a Sunday so the cost was less. Our wedding had 130 guests attend and everyone was comfortable, the banquet hall did not feel too cramped or too empty. The rooms they have on site for the bridal party to get ready are amazing! It's a wonderful place to get married!

First, the venue is stunning. The location is incredible and the building itself is gorgeous. The view from the back lawn is gorgeous and we were lucky enough to have sunny weather and our guests just loved it. You get a view of the rolling hills, the vines and just green as far as the eye can see. The veranda is also all sorts of amazing perfect for a cocktail hour (like we had while we were taking pics). We were looking for a vineyard that had a great indoor/outdoor option in case Oregon decided to be Oregon and rain on the wedding day. We found that most outdoor/indoor locations were seriously lacking in the indoor part. Mostly barns and very rustic. Fine if thats what you are into, not my style. Zenith, however, is elegant and classy, with a French vibe. Tears came into my eyes when I say the bridal suite. Absolutely gorgeous.
Just to know up front: they require you to buy their wine ( a case for every 40 people) but their wine is fantastic. Do yourself a favor and get the White Veil and the Tempernillo (very popular choices with the guests). Kari and Tim (the owners) also put together a 1.5-2 hour wine tasting for up to 8 members for you to choose the wines for the wedding. It was a fun little event and Kari put together a little meat, cheese and fruit tray. They also only allow you to use one of their 4 caterers: Willaby's, Loustic, Art of Catering and Vibrant Table.
The only reason that I give a little less than five stars is that Kari and Tim can be a little gruff in their communications. They are very strict about the insurance part and were a bit rude when I misread some of the fine print that stated they will not accept State Farm insurance. However, in person they are very friendly and personable. I think they just have strict expectations for their venue and don't want do deal with flaky brides. Overall, it was what I was looking for. It absolutely made our day to be in this beautiful vineyard and our guests just ooo'd and aww'd the whole time.

The setting is perfect for a wedding, indoor or out. We lucked out and the weather cooperated with us, so we had ours outdoors. The owners are very responsive to email. The only thing I didn't like was a/v charge, which we forgot about, and at their suggestion, we played a slideshow during the wedding. THey charged us the fee, which was in our contract, but we had signed it over a year ago, and there are about 20 other contracts signed afterwards....I just believed they should have reminded us about the fee when they brought up playing a slideshow. Other than that, we loved everything. The wine is great and our guests loved it.

This venue is amazing. Elegant, gorgeous, stunning! I hardly had to bring any decorations. Kari the owner is a delight to work with and she does a fantastic job. However, stay clear of her husband. He can be a real jerk. In order to keep it clean on here, I will just say he was rude to myself, my wedding party, my mother, and guests. The reception hall is elegant and classy, including a grooms room complete with a poker table, pinball and flat screen TV. The bridal room is spacious with plenty of room for getting ready and a bonus large window with a view of the fountain and guests as they arrive.

Zenith was an all around amazing venue. There is a lot to be said about having a caterer and event manager that is exclusive at a particular location. It started to rain after the entire outdoor ceremony was set up, and all of the staff did an AMAZING job of moving everything inside in a matter of minutes, and making it look perfect. And the bridal/groom suites are the best that we saw in our entire search for a venue.

I selected Zenith at first glance due to its beautiful setting and great value (we had a Friday wedding, which helped on price). I was initially quite impressed with Kari, the owner, but once we paid our deposit, her attitude and service changed. If nothing goes wrong and there are no unexpected "surprises" along the way with your wedding, I'm guessing you'd have a positive enough experience. However, once booked, Zenith's owners give a clear message that it's not about the customer experience, but about the business. Just be aware going into it if you select them.

This is an amazing venue!!! The staff is extremely helpful, especially Kari! I would definitely use this venue. If you planned for an outdoor wedding and it rains... they can immediately switch gears and move it inside without losing any of the elegance. 5-stars!!

Zenith offers a truly beautiful setting for a wedding. From the rolling hills and rows of vines that form a backdrop to the ceremony, to the candlelit ballroom that holds the reception, every detail is taken care of. The bridal suite is the largest and most comfortable I've seen, and the window seat with 1-way glass allows the bride to watch guests arrive without being seen. The food (served by Vibrant Table) is incredible, and you hardly even realize the waiters are there.
The only downside? Zenith Vineyard knows they have an incredible venue, so the price is high and flexibility is very low. If you are willing to work within their parameters, though, it's a gorgeous place. Just make sure you read the contract thoroughly before signing.
